Shark is a dark drama about man who "comes" back from the dead on a mission of vengeance.

I really enjoy watching every moment of Shark including the ending. The ending didn't surprise me. The ending left a lot of unanswered questions. It gave me hope that perhaps what I thought might have happen didn't happen because Yi Soo and Yoshimura pulled that same act before. (But that's wishful thinking. I guess it can only be answered with a Shark 2: Downfall of the Gaya Empire or Shark 2: The Real Jos are Here.)

I wish the writer would have spent more time developing and strengthening other characters rather than focusing on Yi Soo and Hae Woo. I understand they are the lead characters, but a few moments I felt the others were mere props in the drama, not supporting characters. My other wish was that they change the title to Legend of Orpheus. Legend of Orpheus is a better fitted title than Shark.

Before you spend twenty episodes watching this great drama, I recommend you read about the story of Orpheus. The Greek mythology is not a summary of Shark, but it gave me a good idea of why the writer choose to add the myth to the drama.

The similarities: Yi Soo and Orpheus
Orpheus was a poet, prophet, and musician who can make rocks and trees dance when he play his lyre. Yi Soo made people dance to his "tune of music" by manipulating them.
Orpheus and Yi Soo travelled through hell to get their loves back, but lost them when they look back. (Yi Soo lost his love because Hae Woo married another Joon Young.)
After their lost, Yi Soo and Orpheus did not seek the love and affection of no woman. One story said he seek the affection of younger boys. In the drama, Dong Soo implied twice that Yi Soo was gay. (Perhaps he was bisexual). Yi Soo had many opportunities to rekindle the flame, but quench it.

The official soundtrack was great. The song, Between Heaven and Hell by Boa, painted a picture about the love between Yi Soo and Hae Woo.

Shark, the Legend of Orpheus, is not for everyone. Some people would be disappointed at the ending. But I am one of those people who enjoyed watching this revenge drama. I will see it again.

The King and The Clown is not a comedy. It's an adult situation historical movie. The story is about a troupe leader who makes a simple request to perform for the King.
I enjoy watching this movie because it was entertaining, artistically and mentally. Despite the simple title of this movie, it open the doors to many dark sides of society including abuse, harassment, and childhood trauma.
The movie, The King and The Clown, is definitely for adults. It was never meet for teenagers and children to see.
The story and plot of the story is easy to follow.
The actor and cast did a superb job. I enjoy watching the overprotective friendship between the two lead actors, Kam Woo Sung and Lee Jun Ki.
The music was great simply because it fit the historical time.
My overall score is a nine for this movie. I did not give it a ten because I wanted to know the real back story of the two lead actors.

I enjoy fantasy and historical dramas. Nightwatchman's Journal is not a masterpiece nor is it trash. Let me begin with the bad points. The drama was repetitive, but the repetition was necessary for the growth of the team.
The plot of the drama is simple. Good versus evil. Good wins.
Drama made several attempts to show the imperfections of the world such as mental illness, political greed, misusing tax money, misdirected love, and doubt. The drama ended answering a few of the imperfections.
Acting
The good points are the performance by the Kim Heung Soo and Ko Sung Hee. King Heung Soo played King Rin. His performance was exceptional. He stole every scene he was in. Now So Kung Hee played Do Ha. She was so convincing that over 90% of the viewers completely forgot she was illiterate and from the mountains.
I would rewatched this drama simply because I enjoy fantasy dramas.

The King of Dramas was a refreshing change from the usual Korean dramas because its focus was on the behind the scene word of the film industry in South Korea. I truly enjoyed the chemistry between the lead characters, Anthony Kim and Lee Eun Go. Their chemistry did not overwhelmed the drama's purpose. Even though the drama included some somber moments, they were soothed with the comedic antics and gestures among the characters.

This is an excellent drama about the life of Kim Man Doek. She is a phenomenal and caring woman who help those in need.
The 30 episode drama series had its dull moments, but it did not spoil its essence.
I really enjoyed the storyline and the acting. A few of the characters were over the top especially the brother and sister team. Her voice was annoying, but bearable.
The music was fair. There was one song I wanted to add to my kdrama ost list on YouTube , but I couldn't find it. It was one of the best song for the drama.
This drama is not big on romance. That's a good thing. Like most Korean dramas I watched there was always two men competing for the lead actress heart. This time it was three, even though, the third one was overlook too many times. I am please to say that he will eventually be in heart because he is already apart of her soul.

Parallel Life is a movie that borders on the edge of reality and fantasy. This movie asked the question are we all destined to follow a certain path or do we have the power to changed our life. Ji Jin Hee plays a young successful judge with an attractive wife and daughter. His life appears picture perfect until the night his wife was murdered. He becomes obsessed with finding his wife's murderer. His obsession to find the murderer leads him question the authority and people around him. He keeps pursuing the truth no matter who gets hurt.

The unique story line of this movie grabbed my attention. I watched this movie twice and each time I am amazed and shocked by the unforgettable outcome. Ji Jin Hee does a superb as the leading actor in this dark mesmerizing fantasy movie.

I watched this movie twice in one weekend because I could not get over the ending. The movie was well-written and well-acted.

The movie was realistically entertaining especially the ending. Let's just say in the real world. The ending makes more sense than any other deep undercover movies I have watched.

The New World is about an deep undercover cop who must decide where his loyalty lies with his true boss or his fake boss.

THE STORY
The Divine Weapon is a fictional historical drama about the relationship between the Ming and Korean. The small Korean country makes several attempts to build a weapon to defeat the Ming.
The story was better than I thought. The only reason why I watched the movie was because I thought the divine weapon was a supernatural weapon, but I was pleasantly disappointed because the story was well-written and well-acted. The Divine Weapon kept me on the edge on my seat as I wonder how the Koreans will defeat the Ming.
THE ACTING
This is my first time noticing the lead actor, Jung Jae Yung, in a movie. I fell in love with his charisma. He also starred in the movie, the Fatal Encounter. I have rarely seen an historical movie that I did not like. If I did not like it, it was because of the writing or perhaps the acting. But the divine weapon is an excellent movie. The leading lady of Divine Weapon is Han Eun Jeong. I remember her from Gumiho: The Tale of a Fox Child. In both roles, she played a quiet, powerful, and mysterious woman. (I like her better in the Gumiho: Tale of a Fox Child). The rest of the cast were great.
THE MUSIC
It is an instrumental song. This is a song that soldiers would want to hear after a victorious battle.
RE-WATCH VALUE
Yes, I would watch this movie again.

Over My Dead Body is an old fashion roller coaster ride. It slowly reaches to the top, but once it hits the top. The ride down is smooth, fast, and fun.

THE STORY
The story is simply complex. Our three heroes used trickery, deception, and lies to stop the bad guys. Their only defense is a dead body.

ACTING CAST
The acting was great. I am a Lee Bum Soo fan. But the best acting crown goes to Ryu Seung Beom, he had me in stitches. With his crazy out burst and his wacky movement. The lead actress, Kim Ok Bin, had those deadpan eyes. Her character never cracked a smile. I don't know how she kept a straight face around those two bumbling idiots.

MUSIC
Well, there is no official soundtrack for this movie.

REWATCH
This is my second time watching it. The first time, I gave it a 4.0 rating because I had a headache. When I look at my score. I knew something was wrong because I love everything Lee Beom Soo does.

Bestseller grabs your attention and it doesn't let go til the credits role. A struggling writer needs to find inspiration for her upcoming novel. She takes her only daughter with her to a small out of the way village. Her experiences after her visit changes her life forever.
This movie has re-watch potential because it turns an ordinary suspense thriller on its side.
The casting director did a superb job choosing the cast. Every actor was believable.
The music fit the the mood and tone of the movie.

Drama Special: Red Moon is dark and depressing. This drama gives hints and clues to the mental illness of Crown Prince Sado. It made me feel depressed and sad for the Crown Prince. Of all the dramas and movies, I have watched (four so far), Red Moon does not glamorize the life of Crown Prince Sado. This seventy-two-minute drama answers so many questions about Crown Prince Sado mentally illness.

I would recommend this drama to anyone who wants to see a different side of the Crown Prince Sado; however, let me warn you once again this drama is depressing. It has every right to be that way. The life of Crown Prince Sado was not glamorous.

The movie is about an obese back up singer, Hanna. She is the real voice behind the popular Korean singer, Ammy. Hanna has a lovely voice, but her obese size blocks her chances to stardom. Until one day, she decides to make a drastic change.
This movie is a comedy, but there are a few sentimental moments. I could not stop crying near the end of the movie. However, every time, I think about this movie I always remembered what Hanna went through to become Jenny.
I love this movie because it is an underdog movie. The underdog, Hanna/Jenny, triumphs in the end. This movie was a joy to watch because the lead actress is brilliant as a comedienne. Unlike most people I don't rate a movie based on its last minutes. I always try to think about the good and fun parts of a movie. This movie had it's funny and sad parts, but for me the funny parts will always outweigh the sad parts.
