Whatever brought you here - thanks for dropping by! Feel free to leave a comment on here or visit some of my profiles on other sites listed below. Also, if you're interested in taking Korean or Japanese studies in university and have any questions I think I can help you.
I'm usually not good at introducing myself but since this is a profile... Most people call me Jia (which is indeed connected to miss A's Jia but not because I'm biased), I was born in 1994 and spent basically all of my life in Germany.
Back in 2009 I started listening to J-Rock but my first attempt of watching a J-Drama in 2010, Hana Kimi, failed horribly, I couldn't even finish the first episode.
The year 2012 basically changed my whole life. Almost all of my favorite bands from Japan were disbanded and K-Pop brought something new into my life. Though I did listen to some groups since 2010, my interests slowly shifted. With SHINee being one of the first Korean groups I liked it's actually not surprising that the first K-Drama I've watched was To The Beautiful You which, ironically enough, is the Korean version of Hana Kimi. Looking back at those times from today's perspective I don't think it was that great and obviously didn't lead to a drama addiction. Speaking all honestly I think it was in 2013 when K-Drama really caught my attention and I started spending my holidays with watching those for about 16 hours per day when I wanted to. I barely had time to watch anything though when I had to go back to school after holidays.
After graduating from high school in summer 2014 I've started my life as a university student majoring in Korean studies and minoring in Japanese studies in October 2014. From February 2016 to February 2017 I was studying in Seoul at Ewha Womans University.
A thing about my list:
On Hold means that I plan to watch this drama later.
Plan to watch are those dramas and movies I have on my smaller external HDD. Since I had that one in Korea with me I had some saved up so I wouldn't get bored.
