I can sum up Helter Skelter by saying it's a movie about human misery. About the fake values society tries to impose on us through the media, consumerism, and the dark and hypocrital side of the beauty standarts settings.
The classical music mixed with the dramatic artistic elements are the keys that make the story, which itself can seem quite common, plain unique.
Erika Sawajiri's acting is truly marvellous. Her character is pretty complex, feeling a roller coaster of emotions the whole time, but she really can express them well and clearly through the entire story.
If i liked it so much, why did i rate it 9 instead of 10? Because the prosecutor role wasn't appealing to me and, even if i really liked the end, i felt it could have been better, at least a liiiitle bit better than the way it resulted.
All in all, i highly recommend it!
