OMG FREAKING AWESOME!!!

So this drama had it all. I was left guessing the whole time. I never knew what was coming except once & that was just a given. There wasn't anything bad about this drama. I loved the whole thing. The acting was amazing, the story was awesome, & I would totally start rewatching this in a heartbeat. I don't think that this drama could disappoint any1. The only issue was that I just couldn't stand the old bad guys facial expressions, but ur supposed to hate the bad guy. Anyway awesome job writers. This is the best time travel drama I have ever watched b/c it is simple and complex at the same time. It makes u think, but u also have to accept things as they are. I enjoyed watching this drama & I suggest that every1 give it a try. I promise it will draw u in on the 1st episode. ENJOY! read more

I rly loved this movie. It's like seeing crazy from a crazy person's perspective. It was great. I thought that it was acted rly well. The fact that Rain's character steals things was cool, b/c u figure out that he doesn't steal just items. I rly think that korean writers have studied psychology & that is y they r so good at showing things from such amazing perspectives. I suggest that u don't pass this 1 up b/c it has more to it than just crazy ppl in a mental hospital. It has a rly human connection. I enjoyed it & think others will too.

IRIS 2

I wasn't going to write a review on this b/c I thought it was just good. I liked it but then again there were things that I didn't like. I get that Iris has a theme of sacrifice, but can't they have some happiness at the end? Just a little please!

Well other than that, the action was amazing. Not as epic at the 1st season, but still on lvl. Loved the characters. Lee Joon was like AWESOME! Loved his character as good then bad. He did such a good job & they used subtle differences in his appearance to make him look sinister. So awesome!

I rly didn't care for the romance part of the drama, b/c it was kinda covered up by the whole boss-subordinate relationship that they had. It felt more like a rly close friendship. But, w/e the story was still good.

I guess that watching the sisters together is like a hint for the next drama. HUMMMM Athena 2??? Maybe???

I don't mind suggesting that drama-lovers watch this 1. It has rly good action & continues to be true to the Iris style. ENJOY! read more

What Happened in Bali

OK So this drama got a 10 b/c of the ending. EPIC ending. I actually heard so much from Unnie about this drama being a rly bad drama, but I'm not so sure we were watching the same drama. I thought it was pretty good. Of course there r some issues, but that comes w/ the fact that it was done in 2004. Other than the crappy set & the annoying supporting actors (i.e. Soo Jung's brother, money stealing ex-boss, & best friend) I liked it.

No, this drama will never be 1 of my all time faves, but I enjoyed watching it. I enjoyed the fact that these actors (that I love) So Ji Sub, Ha Ji Won, & Jo In Sung confirmed that they are great actors & not just "Eye Candy." The ending was the best ever. Whoever came up w/ that ending was a genius, b/c it gave an ending to all sides of the conflict.

I was slightly upset that Ha Ji Won had to play a cry-baby, indecisive character, b/c to me she is just much stronger than they let her be in this drama.

So Ji Sub blew me away. I mean who do u know that can be as silent as he is in this drama, but still show so much emotion that u know what he is feeling the whole time? NO1! He is an amazing actor & I will forever watch anything & everything he is ever in (if I can find it subbed).

Jo In Sung is like amazing. I wanted to cry & go crazy w/ him through this whole drama. I felt bad for him the whole time b/c of his family life. Which kinda reminded me of Lee Je Hoon's character in Fashion King. I actually wanted him to get the girl even though he was a giant Scott (South Park Reference).

Overall I liked the drama & think that others should give it a try. It isn't as much torture as I anticipated, except that is is older & it reminds me of the 80's. ENJOY! read more

Queen of Ambition

Wow I don't think there was an episode that I watch were I wasn't pissed. The last episode was the best of them all. I don't rly know what to say about it w/o telling every1 what happened & y I was mad the whole time. I am going to try to explain.

The character Da Hae, even though I know she didn't mean for everything that happened to happen, was just evil. I know she felt remorse for certain things (u will only understand if u watch), but she still continued to make choices that were selfish & evil (the only word I can think of to describe it).

The character Ha Ryu was just too sweet. I know he did the whole revenge thing, but that wasn't his motive. It was more along the lines of making ppl pay for what they did. If u ask me all his actions were totally justified, but I still think that he was too sweet for his own good.

The other characters were awesome. Each character was necessary and the actors that played them did such a good job.

I have to say that this drama kinda blew me away, but b/c I had such an angry feeling most of the time I had to give it lower scores. I don't feel that anger is a good way to feel entertained. But b/c I was so invested in each character I had to continue to watch till the end. I am glad I did b/c the ending left me w/ happy & sorrowful feelings. It was appropriate for the drama. Don't go into this drama thinking that you're going to come out all sunshine & roses, b/c that is so far from this drama. I suggest only those that can handle a serious melodrama should watch this, b/c it is like no joke. read more

That Winter, The Wind Blows

So I will prolly be all hated on for my opinion about this drama, but OH WELL!

I loved the story. It was rly good. My only prob was a w/ certain character. I watched the movie of this story so I had certain expectations. And, it's not that they weren't filled to a certain degree. I just have issues w/ how the writers made Oh Young revert back into a depressive state that she was clearly out of, and made her seem weak when she had been strong for so long. I mean I totally get where she was coming from. Total trauma that started from childhood, but come on rly! Did they have to go that far w/ her character & then the total reversal again in the last episode. I'm like WHAT??? Serial pick a personality for the character & stick w/ it. At least they did that in the movie.

Now that I got that out of my system...

The rest of the drama was totally daebak. I loved the way they had Jin Sung do something he was totally against in the end. That part was much better than the movie. Oh Soo was the best character of them all w/ his own complex of abandonment. The flow of the drama was good. I didn't feel rushed at all. I was kinda upset about Moo Cheol's character, but I understand y they wrote his part that way. He was like a guardian angel that no1 knew was there. The whole combination of actors was great b/c they had such a great chemistry. The anger, brotherhood, love, romance, etc. was all there & I was never left w/ a feeling of uninterest. I was always anticipating the next episode. I was interested to see how each situation would play out; even though I alrdy knew the story b/c I watched the movie.

I suggest that MDL-er's give this drama a try. It is exciting to watch. ENJOY! read more

7th Grade Civil Servant

OMG y was this drama not longer? I loved the story & if Joo Won & Kang Hee got together in RL that would be like AWESOME! Such a good drama it made me feel good b/c it had everything. There was a feeling of seriousness & excitement, along w/ cute & funny moments. The only thing that I had a problem w/ is the filler time that was filmed w/ Kim Seo Won/Kim Kyung Ja's parents. I totally skipped all parts w/ them b/c they were boring as hell! I don't understand y they put in characters that add almost nothing to the story. I know that we had to have a feeling of sympathy for Kim Seo Won/Kim Kyung Ja b/c her parents were more like children than parents. But RLY! Did we have to go through all that torture for that long? If I was directing I would have tried to put in more segments of Joo Won & Kang Hee being cute together. But w/e!

The ending was rly good & left me w/ a feeling of happiness. Thx writers! Then again I rly love Joo Won & Kang Hee as actors. They did such a great job together. I enjoyed the chemistry that they had b/c the drama had such a relaxed feel to it. I suggest every1 give this drama a try b/c it was (IMAO) AWESOME! ENJOY! read more

OK. 1st of all I am so glad to finally have this drama off my currently watching list. It took me like a month & 1/2 to finish the last 2 episodes after the drama was over. I have to say that it wasn't a bad drama, it was just long & drawn out. All the palace intrigue made me want to kill myself from waiting for ppl to actually get a dang clue. U would think after the same ppl committed the same conniving plot over & over again that some1 would just point @ them & the situation would be done. @ least the King @ the end knew that some1 was plotting against his fave guy (Ji Sung aka Ji Sang...LOL) & his son. Grats to the man for getting smarter after all that time. I wish that he had wised up sooner.

What I just don't get is if ur the king y in the name of all that is holy do u have to follow anybodies kind of law? As king don't u make the law? That is how things would work if I was ruler of any country. What Mel says goes ppl & the rest of u mugs just have 2 deal w/ it...mawhahahaha!

Oh well! It was an ok drama, but I rly am not into all the palace b/s that was part of this drama. Historical drama's r just not my thing. They r interesting in the fact that they have such a long history & can make a drama out of all that (unlike here in the US where we only have 200 yrs of history & it is all a bunch of convoluted b/s). Watch it if u want it isn't bad, but expect it to be rly slow at times & the whole story drawn out w/ a lot of b/s. read more

OMG total DRAMATHON! Not sure y but I had to complete this drama all at once. I know I am giving it just good scores, but I thought it could have been shorter w/o a lot of b/s filler. I totally understand that they had to do a lot of character development, but y did I have to listen to the grandmother yell & get on my nerves whenever she opened her mouth for like 5 episodes? Couldn't have done the drama w/o her part, but did she rly have to be that loud & ignorant? They made her character out to be smart & dignified from her position as head of her family. Then she did the most annoying things & was tactless w/ every1 she came in contact w/ basically. Rly drove me crazy.

The 4 main characters were awesome. I loved each one and understood where they were coming from based on the past experiences we learn about in the drama. These characters were developed very well and they each kept me interested in the progression of the story. I thought each actor brought out the emotions of each character well. I thought the story was very well written & that the pace was alright except for the filler that was used to make the drama longer. The end was ok, but I knew what was going on the whole time. No guess work there.

Oh well! I liked the drama & feel that others will as well. ENJOY! read more

Ok I cried! This was a very good drama. It will stay w/ me forever b/c it was tragic. I'm not going to tell u what happened, but I will say that it was awesome & it killed me. The acting was good. I loved the main characters. If they remade this drama they could prolly add several episodes to allow for a little more character growth & not loose anything. It would only make it better. Rly good drama that will make just about any1 cry from sadness & happiness @ the same time.
