Both have similar storylines involving an "old man" returning to the workforce in an entry level position. They have to deal with a generational gap and becoming up to date with new trends, technology, and a new workstyle. In Unicorn ni Notte the old man is more open minded, willing to learn, and try new things out whereas the old man in Kkondae Intern is a bit stuck in his old ways. They go through a considerable amount of growth by the end.

Both cover artisans who are a master of their craft. Hi Producer is part drama/part documentary about artisans that are trying to preserve the tradition of their craft. Masters in Forbidden city is a documentary about artisans who work in art restoration. If you appreciate the art in one, there's a good chance you'll like the other. There is a shorter movie version available of Masters in Forbidden City.

Both are forced marriage lakorns due to some misunderstanding. FL ends up working on ML's farm in both. Both dramas land under the slap/kiss genre, but Jao Sao Jamloei has a softer take on the slap/kiss genre. Both have ridiculous drama scenarios that are pretty laugh out loud worthy.

Both are Chinese business dramas that have a very talented female lead, who is exceptionally good at her job and crunching numbers. In both, the male lead and female lead have a senior/junior relationship as well as somewhat of a mentor/mentee relationship. The Ideal City has slightly more romance, but the relationship in both start off somewhat platonic.
