I wouldn't call this a coming of age movie but more of what happens to friendships as we get older. These four young ladies have been friends for quite awhile and as you watch them in their daily lives, each different from the other and facing their own struggles. Hae Joo is the most fortunate one and is kind of inconsiderate of her friends whose circumstances are not the same as hers. Ji-Young seems to be the one that is the most dire as she lives with her grandparents in a dilapidated home in Inchon and she is feeling the pressures just to get by with life everyday. The others pretty much try to maintain their friendship but as you watch, you can see them drifting read more

If you want cheese with those fries or more precisely tonkatsu and cake. Or more expressly said by Nobuko: Juicy tonkatsu and a pound cake! The sweetness of the mascarpone cheese is just perfect! Yes, if you want a cheesy drama to relieve you of the stress of that melodrama you just finished or that drama where the second lead you wanted to win the girl, loses; this is for you.

I admit I smiled and laughed a lot because of the corniness but I believe that is what the writer was going for. I think the title is SO appropriate! You have to see it to understand but the final lesson was great! You have to find your own happiness first.

    The acting, well, its

Rewatch? Oh No! Not me! But this was a damn good movie from start to finish. My appreciation for Kim Seung Woo as an actor is in the stratosphere! Jong Sik is about as corrupt as you can get. All sympathy for his daughter, of course. But the one who I must doubly applaud is Son Byung Ho as the horribly persecuted husband and father. What he brought to his character was simply sheer genius. Talk about cry me a river! He can't help but cry for his character, wife and daughter. So can I consciously recommend this? No. You have to have a strong mind and heart to get through this movie. Why? Because the violence, depiction of police corruption and other things that happen read more

Okay, let me preface my review with the fact that you must be a lover of the crime/suspense/action genre. If you are not, this is not the drama for you.

Acting: What can I say, I was pleasantly surprised by all. I've seen them all in different works but in this collaboration between Jpn/Kor; they reined supreme. Takenouchi Yutaka as Shou/Takumi was phenomenal. As the gangster Shou, he played the role really well. I loved that! And boy is he a sexy man! Choi Ji Woo as Yuna was a treat! Except for movies, I'd never completed one of her dramas but as Yuna (the ever changing Yuna), she was on point. I would be remiss in leaving out Sato Ryuta as Hide. Afro-ed down and

I don't know where to start! My drama friends have been trying to get me to watch this for awhile and I was hesitate when it was being broadcasted because I was watching too much drama. So finally I took the challenge of marathon watching this. Man, am I glad that I did. Let's start with the acting:

Everyone did a fantastic job! From Lee Jin Wook as Sun Woo to Jeong Dong Hwan as Choi Jin Cheul! I loved the way everyone played their parts and held your attention whenever they were on the screen. Jo Yoon Hee as Min Young was simply charming. I have to point out that my favorite was Sun Woo's buddy played by Lee Seung Jun was amazing! His portrayal

It's one thing for a single man to find out he has a daughter but to find out he is a grandfather too? Makes for a very, very cute movie. I must say, as usual Cha Tae Hyun does not disappoint in his movies. Playing Hyun Soo and watching his character evolve was precious and Park Bo Young? What a joy! This is my first time seeing her and I'll tell you what, if that was her singing, someone needs to give her a singing contract. I don't know if she was but whoever it was had a wonderful voice. And let's not forget little Wang Seok Hyeon as Ki Dong. So cute and so precious. Who wouldn't fall in love with him! If you want read more

It's a pretty decent historical based drama. From beginning to end, it held my interest. I admit readily at sometimes in Chinese dramas, especially action ones, the stunts and graphics can be cheesy but looking past that as this was released in 2004, it's pretty much what you would expect from the time. The acting by all the cast was great, especially the actor playing General Qi (sorry, couldn't find him on mydramalist). He did a splendid job. This was pretty much the first time I'd seen any of these actors except for Peter Ho. If you love historical dramas, this is definitely fun to watch and the fight scenes can be brutal at time (just what I like).

Close to perfect at times. The acting was perfect for this drama. I asked myself why I hadn't watched this before. The title throws you off because you have no idea what it really is about. Let's start with the stand-out actors. First of all, Ryu Deok Hwan as Han Jin Woo was unbelievably good! From the first episode to the end. His portrayal of Jin Woo was spot on perfect. Yoon Joo Hee as Kang Kyung Hee was great! At times, she drove you batty with her police decisions which made no sense to me (or maybe I watch TOO MANY police and crime dramas) but overall she did a good job. The rest of the cast was fun and acted well. Every episode was read more

If you want to watch a good story that is totally without one single kiss between the leads, this is one to watch. But if you are interested in a fairly decent story, this is worth watching. The cast was very good overall, I really can't complain about that. I was kind of disappointed that here you had two actors that had a decent chemistry together and besides a peck on the cheek, that was it. No holding hands, no hugs, nothing. ending was rushed in the usual KDrama fashion.

I have mixed feeling on this movie. At times, the acting was brilliantly done but then there's re those moments when I literally felt my eyes get heavy with sleep. I felt the supporting cast to be the most interesting and really helped to maintain my interestst. This wasn't bad enough to stop watching; however, had it not been for Lee Byung Hun, I probably would have stopped watching. I think it's best for you to watch and give your own opinion. But if nothing else, I learned that YUT means the same thing as STFU. I'll be using that in the future.
