I actually finished this quite some time ago but thought I'd finally do my own review here. :) This one is very close to getting a "Masterpiece" rating if it weren't for a few things such as the total length of the drama (That's more of a personal taste thing rather than a fault with the drama itself), the ending feeling a bit flat & something else which I won't spoil here XD! Any drama that makes me feel this invested in the story & characters deserves a high score though. I was completely hooked from the first episode; it's one of the strongest openings I've seen in a while & I had trouble tearing myself away. If all first episodes of KDramas were like this one I'd probably not drop as many. It just completely sucked me into the story from the very first few minutes! Each EP felt quite short considering it is the usual KDrama length; which I usually have trouble with. The pace was fast enough to hold my attention, the plot had enough twists & the score/OST suited the mood perfectly! Also the production values are incredibly high & well thought out. I wasn't a fan of Lee Min Ho before this & I original dropped all of his previous dramas but after seeing him in this action genre, well I think it suits him better. He did a tremendous job in City Hunter & his acting was spot on! In the end though I did manage to go back & finish some of his previous Dramas. :) I thought the ending was a bit rushed & had a bit of a chaotic feel with some unanswered questions but that's the only real downside for me & overall I found City Hunter very gripping & exciting. It's been a while since I've been this melancholic over having completed a Drama; even now I still feel a tinge of sadness that it's over! It's also the first time that I wish a KDrama actually had more episodes!!! I hope a second season gets made one day.
