Hi and welcome, 

I'm stating the obvious but I'll do it anyway. I'm a drama fa(n)ddict. 

How I fell in the wonderfull world of drama I don't actually recall. I don't remember my first drama. I just know I've been watching asian movies and anime for more then 15 years now and somehow this led me to Japanese drama's. The rest is history. I enjoy drama's from all countries but up untill now I'm usually more impressed by Japanese movies or drama's. Only recently I started watching Korean variety and this pulled me further in the asia mania (as my friends call it). I actually order Japanese or Korean food and drinks (soju!!) to get into my drama mood. I'm not into k-pop, but I'm starting to learn about the groups through the variety shows. And found 2 bands I like so far being CNBLUE and F.T.ISLAND. Through the years I have however collected many Japanese/Taiwanese/Korean/Chinese songs through the OST's I liked. The rest of my playlist consists of rock and metal. (yeah great combination on shuffle). And before the drama craze started I was already into Japanese metal/rock/visual kei (Girugamesh, Dir en Grey, L'arc en ciel, X-Japan, Gackt etc) . 

I just turned 30 which is a tad older then avarage MDLer but not nearly old enough to stop watching the great  and sometimes not so great asian movies and drama's. One of my flaws is that I can't drop a drama if it doesn't appeal to me at that moment so it ends up on my hold list untill I pick it up again. And I MUST pick it up again because I want to finish everything that I started. Also my rating isn't that technical I rate on feeling  and ofcourse good acting usually makes me feel good. ;)

I love great recommendations and reviews (thank you people) based on atmosphere, acting skills or theme. (note to self, should start doing that myself). I hate ratings and reviews without finishing all episodes of a drama. (I mean seriously how can you rate at all without knowing the end!)

I'm not too active on the forum but I lurk a lot. MDL is my favorite site and you'd think it's also my desktop image. I think It's great how people can share their love for drama's here and contribute in all kinds of ways. Feel free to befriend me, I'm actually a friendly person although sometimes not so swift with my replies.

    Hii! Grappig dat je zo vaak aan iemands naam ziet dat ze Nederlands zijn, haha! (En zoveel Nederlanders zitten er niet op deze site toch?) Dus ik dacht: even hoi zeggen. ;) En nog een hoop Nederlandse comments ook. (Trouwens, wat een lijst zeg, 94 dagen. Respect.)

    Hooi, dat is dan wel een betere eigenschap!! ^-^ ja zonder subs kijken gaat mij ook niet zo goed af.. Hehe kan je een asiatische taal praten?? Ik zou heel graag japans, chinees of koreaans kunnen praten!! Ik heb ook een tijdje koreaanse les gedaan op youtube maar erg ver ben ik niet gekomen.. Hihi hoewel je wel veel van de taal oppikt als drama's aant kijken bent!! Ik zag dat je liar game aant kijken bent, is die leuk??

    Hooi, ja ik ben nu een beetje te veel aan het ontdekken.. Haha ik heb nu al best veel series waar ik mee bezig ben, eigenlijk heel onhandig maar ik ben echt slecht in het doorzetten van het kijken als er een saai stukje is en er zijn zo veel leuke dramas dat ik elke keer weer nieuwe begin te kijken.. Haha maar ja ik heb death note gezien niet de anime maar wel de films met mensen. Ik vond hem echt heel leuk maar heb ook best vaak gelezen op sites dat het echt een afrader is als je de anime hebt gezien... Maar als je er veel over wilt weten moet je het even aan een vriendin van mij vragen die ook op deze site zit (yukikominam) zei heeft de drie delen ook op dvd en heeft ook de anime gezien dus dan moet je het even aan haar vragen... Maar ik vond hem echt heel leuk!! Xx
