Wicked episode! But what the ...?!

This is getting kind of preposterous! LOL

Safari is pulling a fast one. He has to be. They have to make the special unit know that Doc is one of them, otherwise they're wasting time & resources chasing the wrong guy while the baddies have a field day!

I'm losing confidence in Hyung Min's leadership of the squad, he's always one step behind the bad guys & it's impossible for him to outwit Doc. Come on, Hyung Min, show us you're not just a pretty face!

Man, I'm loving Jung Kyung Ho in his role as Doctor's Son. Such an interesting, complex, layered character! Loved the love scene with Soo Min. Wow! Couldn't believe I was really watching a k-drama. Hot damn!

I think he's falling for her & that's good. It's obvious the pressure is getting to him & he needs that groundedness, someone fresh, good & most of all innocent in his dark existence. I hope they'll get closer and that Soo Min will find out sooner rather than later that he's one of the good guys.

I'm loving this series so far! Looking forward to the rest of the ride! :)

Love, Love, LOVE!!!

Damn, this was an amazing episode!

First of all, Halu's mother is a real piece of work, but it's so great that he has an amazing woman like Aki to turn to. This guy has a lot of emotional defenses, but he's powerless in the face of Aki's sweet, abiding love. The chemistry between them is off the charts. The scene in Halu's kitchen, the love scene has got to be one of the best scenes ever. So tender, so sweet. I loved every minute of it. And REAL KISSES ... they share real kisses! Real intimacy.

Yes, I'm going to agree with Elisabetta and NinaJade, Kimura can act. You feel his every emotion in every scene. Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! At this point I don't want this drama to end.

This episode is a perfect 10 for me!

It's got me now...

For the first time since starting this drama I can say I'm fully invested. I almost dropped it several times as it started off very slow and boring for me. But this episode restored my faith. It was a sad moment for our male lead, but also beautiful because of the way Natsui stood by him when everyone else abandoned him. I'm glad she didn't let him deter her from going with him with his usual false bravado bullshit. Really sweet scene with them, I must say. Loved every moment of it! :)

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with Bladey below, Asahina doesn't deserve one bit of sympathy! He's a snake who plotted to bring down Hyuga in the most despicable of ways. He wanted to humiliate the man in every way possible. Even if he felt inferior and in Hyuga's shadow, even if Hyuga is somewhat of a bastard, his actions are still unwarranted & will garner him no sympathy from me, ever. Of anyone on the planet Hyuga loved him & trusted him the most. And yet he's been waiting for this moment bring him down. That's just wicked. It's not just business, it's personal. He secretly hated and has been jealous of Hyuga & his brilliance all this time. For that reason alone I hope Hyuga starts a new bigger, better company and crush him like the termite that he is.

Eun Chan should have seen it coming!

Well, everything is finally out. Thank heavens! I was kinda getting tired of the pretense, the big open secret everyone knew about except our male lead. I'm happy with the way they handled it. I thought after Han Gyul confessed that he wanted to be with her no matter what, they were going to drag out him thinking she's a guy to the point where I'd become frustrated with his cluelessness and stop watching. Luckily that didn't happen. Now that he knows, he's mad as hell, and honestly I think he has a right. I sympathize with Eun Chan, but she took things too far. She had more than enough opportunities to come clean. Moreover, the guy was already into her not long after they met so what exactly was she worried about? Since he loved her I'm pretty sure he'd have quickly forgiven her. Anyway, they have such great chemistry when they're together & happy that I want them to make up quickly.

The situation with Han Seong and Yoo Jun has gotten very delicate. Although I don't think two wrongs make a right, Yoo Jun is getting on my nerves. She doesn't seem to want the relationship unless she's in full control. She wants to pull Han Seong like a puppet on a string. That's madness. We all know relationships don't work that way. It's give and take. She needs to realize that and stop manipulating the situation to her advantage. I hope they make it though.

Love makes me strong

It's great to see how people flourish when they know someone's got their back.

Plus you gotta love a man who can cook! And this kid seems to be pretty decent all round too. He's filial, great with kids, family oriented. Too bad his girlfriend is not looking like too much of a catch.

Now that Riko-chan and Naoki have met and seem to be getting along, how is this going to pan out with her dating Coach?

Holy sh--!

Man, this ep was total badassery!

I love Jin Sook in this episode. Talk about a totally badass female gangsta kingpin. Show them boys how we do, Jin Sook!

As for the rest, wow! This is getting intense! Doc has partially revealed his face to Hyung Min, what will happen now? Will they band together to finally take down Pusan? Somehow I doubt it. Hyung Min is too emotionally attached to the case because of Gyung Mi's death. He's convinced himself Doc murdered her & will not listen to any other explanation. This is going to get messy.

Scale met a very violent end, who's next? Safari? Doc? Soo? Somebody gonna die tonight, that's for sure!

But shit, when Doc gets that look in his eyes you know shit's about to hit the fan. I hope he guts that simpering, backstabbing idiot Ahn like a fish!

Can't really figure out Chief Commissioner Min. Is he still in this for the right reasons or has he gone rogue, and in the process using Doc to carry out his dirty work? I'm not sure. Maybe I missed something. Luckily Doc is as sharp as a whip. He'll figure them all out since he's always one step ahead of Hyung Min & his squad.

Well, I sure didn't see that coming!

Just when I thought I had at least the first 5-6 eps figured out, I'm proven wrong. A key character gets wiped out and you're no longer sure if you should be rooting for the police or Doctor's Son. Gotta admit my allegiance leans slightly closer to the latter. The character (Doctor's Son) is captivating & intense, but even when he appears to have ice running through his veins you also see moments of vulnerability & heart. I like him and I want good things for him, though this is probably just wishful thinking on my part.

Bone-chilling episode with lots of action! Now it should be very interesting to see how the story develops after this.

The art of not taking NO for an answer

Ah Coach why'd you have to go and do me like that, eh? Disappointed.

Riko takes charge, will Naoki-san quit being the passive dassive he's been up til now and step his sh!t up? Only time will tell...

Natsuki's finally finding out what a "gem" she's found in Yoyogi. Serves her right!

I must say up until now I'm very happy with the pacing of this story. No melodrama, no roller coaster of emotions to mess up my equilibrium ... just a calm presentation of an everyday world in which people are just trying to make it in life and love. I like this peaceful, more rational form of storytelling and hope things remain the same for the remaining episodes. But again, I've learned the hard way not to put my trust in Asian dramas.

Nice!

This was nice ride. Eun Chan is such a hard working girl and self-sufficient girl, I'm glad she got the opportunity to better herself. At the same time I felt the agony of their separation right along with Han Gyul. But it all worked out. Wished they would have gotten married at the end, though, but I guess life doesn't work like that so why should it in dramas...

I think I'm gonna like this drama ...

I've never seen second leads kiss in a K-drama until now. Mad! And their story is quite engaging too.

Eun Chan & Han Gyul's antics at the matchmaking sessions were pretty funny & cute, but something's got to be wrong with that man's eyes. Or maybe he's just soft in the brain. How he can mistake Eun Chan to be a boy is beyond me. Guess I'mma have to suspend belief on that cuz it's just ridiculous. lol

Damn, pretty good for a 1st EP!

Well if my positive reception of this first episode is anything to go by then this drama should be a hit. From bitter experience I know not to start a popular drama like Coffee Prince expecting too much, but this was a solid first ep, with characters and situations I've never encountered in a K-drama before (granted I haven't seen that many but still). Normally a drama doesn't pull me in until the 3rd or 4th episode, but this one hooked me from the start. I've seen the lead actress before, in Lie To Me. I like her. The hero is cute too and he already has great chemistry with the heroine, although he's under the assumption that she is a he. I'm also intrigued by the side story involving Hi Jin and Han Seoug. Very, very good start. Wasn't expecting that at all.

I won't let you go anymore

Damn straight. He never should have let her go in the first place. I mean have these two lovelorn sillies ever heard of long distance relationship? Sure, it's not a perfect solution, but you make do with what you have. It's a lot better than living half a life, pining for what you've unnecessarily denied yourself. I didn't understand the insistence on a very long & painful separation with no contact in between when the alternative would have been better and made more sense. They just love torturing people to the very end, don't they, these bloody filmmakers. Grrrr!

I would have preferred more screen time for Naoki and Riko in this last episode. But oh well, it ended well and that's what matters.

Confused...

I don't really understand what's going on. I'm just as confused as the characters right now. I hope he finds the talisman quick so that things can go back to how they were because I'm not liking the current unfolding of events.

Finally, some progress!

Everyone's acting so irrational in this episode I really want to kick somebody. I'm glad Guang Xi is now in the know. Sh*t's hitting the fan at every corner, but at least now the story can move on.

I really disliked all the flashbacks in this episode. They didn't serve any real purpose and kept the action from progressing.

I still really like Tuo Ye. Too bad things won't go the way he wants.

Man, life's a b*tch!

Isn't it typical that just when everything is going right, everything goes wrong. I'm trying not to freak out. I hope things will be resolved to my wish, but I'm not holding my breath. Why'd she have to run to that guy like that? It ain't right.
