For Athena you either stand to watch it until the end or drop it on the middle or probably, not even when you are close to the middle. You can choose to leave it there or finish watching just cos. I chose the second option because I don't like leaving my dramas unfinished, I just can't live with it.

Athena is a good drama, has a nice plot though if you kind of miss something then you might get lost and not be able to tell what's going on, maybe it's because of the terms, sometimes you get to miss the smallest details as to what a character is doing in a place at that moment.

Of course like people say "There's nothing better than the first one" or well in this case, the spin-off can't be better than the original series, Iris in this case. Iris has no flaws in my opinion, while Athena..it's not about flaws, it's more about the pace of the events, you get a really dynamic story at the start, at a really fast pace that hooks you, thenit drags for around 5 or 6 eps then it gets good for two or three, then it drags and it only gets good in the three or four last episodes, especially when Athena makes its formal entry.

Cha Seung Won does a formidable job as the main villain, and Jung Woo Sung as the hero, well he's cool, sometimes funny (I dunno why but I sometimes found him funny)though he's not as awesome as Lee Byung Hun in his role as Kim Hyun Jun, but well, two stories, two heroes.
It's nice to see some of the characters of Iris here, I really am so much into the main cast of Iris that I really wanted to appear more often.

You will sometimes find yourself frustrated with the pace of the events, but the acting makes up for it when you see the action scenes. So if you have the patience to put up with some filler episodes and have the patience to wait for things to pick up again and are up for some good action then eah, stick to Athena until the very end.

It has its own story to tell, its own characters and well, its own pace to tell events but in the end, it is a nice watch, just have a little patience and well try to pick up as much info as you can so you don't get lost with all of the nuclear terms being mentioned.

Acting is flawless, my only issue as I've mentioned is the pace of the events. Music, I choose a 9 for my review when it comes to music because I seriously loved the tracks that were being played, from the ballads, to the music in the credits, to the orchestral score which name I don't know but you could clearly hear that they were saying something about Athena, that score is a masterpiece.

My rewatch value is 6 because I wouldn't rewatch it right now, but probably in a few years..two or three, when I feel the need to hear the sound of bullets and bombs

Cute. Super super sweet. Those are the first words that come to mind when I think about Flower Boy Next Door.

It's been a while since I have seen a light story aimed at a younger audience and that I can actually enjoy. Because I had tried to escape from them even though I'm not old at all but I wanted something light, something cute. And Flower Boy Next Door offered me that.

I shall say that I really watched it for both leads, Park Shin Hye and Yoo Shi Yoon, even though this is my first time seeing a drama with him as the main lead, I've seen bits of King of Baking and therefore, I was interested. And I like Park Shin Hye so I was wondering how she was going to play a girl who had shut herself away from the world, she played her chara in a magnificent way.

What kept my interest in this show was definitely Enrique, even though he sounds childish at first and all, you know he has a lot to tell inside. His words are deep, and I like how he wants to help Dok Mi so badly until the point in which he fell.

This story treats one-sided love in a touching way, especially when we see Dok Mi writing on her computer about it, her thoughts are full of beautiful words, even though she herself has suffered a lot, her words are beautiful though they might sound a tad depressive to some but really, there are some people who might feel like Dok Mi in real life, and that's not being weird, it's reality.

That's probably why I felt connected to her character more than to Enrique, it's not like I'm like Dok Mi, it's more about being able to relate to Dok Mi well enough. Enrique is awesome though, for trying to pull her out of that place, his intentions were good so that makes him likeable to me, plus he's cute, too cute to say no to him haha.

Overall I gave this a 9 because it kept me entertained and it made me want to find out how the story was going to end. The rewatch value is also 9 to me because I would rewatch it often, and it wouldn't bother me knowing how it's going to end. I really liked Flower Boy Next Door, makes me want to continue watching Yoon Shi Yoon's works and also the Oh boy TVN series

Where to start with Mr. Idol, first of all, I decided to watch this because from my perspective, Ji Hyun Woo looked so much like Lee Joon on the promo posters and since I had never watched anything with him, I thought I would give this a try.

Mr. Idol had the potential to become a masterpiece but in my opinion it could have used better music, I cannot say that the song wasn't nice, it was nice and all, but I felt that this being an idol movie there should have been more powerful songs, I know that the idols were starting again, well all of them but Yoo Jin, and the story was cute, but my problem was the music.

The pace of the film was alright, not too fast and too slow. Ji Hyun Woo's acting was really nice, I want to watch more from him, but what annoyed me a litte was the female lead's acting, her expression kinda bored me, like Yoo Jin said, she always had a pokerfaced expression on her and even when Yoo Jin worried her expression still never changed, it was a little too stiff. Ji Hyun Woo's acting was cool though.

I would rewatch it some time if I needed something light hearted, the pace wasn't bad so I'm cool with it. Overall a 7 because it wasn't AS GREAT as the posters made it seem, but it wasn't that bad after all

It's been years ever since I watched this movie. I didn't know it was a Korean movie when I first watched it but that is because I first saw this movie back in 2004 and I saw it dubbed, so I totally didn't realize it was a Korean movie until two days ago, when I rewatched it.

I randomly found it while browsing through my dvd collection at home and then suddenly remembered how obsessed I was with this movie years ago, how I would watch it, twice a day then once a week until I finally forgot about it. I must say that now, watching it after almost 9 years the effect it had on me wasn't quite the same as the first time I saw it.

There are some things that make you go 'ehhhh' at times, some plot holes and some random things added. It's not boring but it's not wow either (but I was obsessed with it because I was what..probably 10 or 11 when I saw it and I was pretty impressed back then)By now if you've watched stuff like Iris and the like you might think that this is nothing, but well it's an old movie after all.

But it doesn't hurt to give it a try, it's not a waste of time if you're bored and want something short to watch, the action is good and the scenes inside the train are really good, you can also have some laughs with some of the side characters.

Jay and K aren't their real names by the way. Jay's real name in the movie is Do Joon and K's name is Ying Gyung, just fyi.

Overall I give it a 7 because it's not THE action film but you can manage to like it if you're into action like me and if you want a classic movie that can give you also a good laugh in the middle of a really tense atmosphere. Give it a try.
