Makjang dumb plots chasing after one villain

This drama was written by the written who have written Miss Monte Cristo in 2021. While I was expected for this drama, but I also cautious because daily drama it is usually a hit or miss and this one was a miss in my opinion. If you have been watching from the beginning until the end then you know. Without going into much into it I like the fast paced early on until the switch of the actor which both are good actor, but I personally felt it went down from there and the writer lost momentum in writing the story and directing as well. I liked the acting for the most part, but this drama just went down afterward and I dislike how one person who been doing wrong never gotten taken down like what the hell is going on with this. If you like this type of drama then check it out but I don't think the stupidity does stop.

Check it out if you are fan of the leads other work

This drama is based on the writer that have Hi Bye Mama and directed by the director that have directed Forecasting Love and Weather and When the Camila Bloom, You can just tell by the photography and the vibe. If you watch those I have mentioned that you just know. There are two best friend who dated, but have feelings for each other still when Sam Dal work under the name Cho Eun Hye returned to her hometown after leaving years earlier to pursue her career as a photographer. While Yong Pil stayed behind and work as forecaster to protect the elders in his community. If you watch the drama you will know it is more than just those two, but it also touched on family, not succeeding and more. There is a love triangle I guess, but not really mostly it is family and friendship. The pace of the drama isn't my favorite and if you want to check it out for the actors you should do it and it might not be for everyone. The community keeps talking about our leads relationship and gossip. There is also a prominent death that affect everyone in the community and you'll see why if you check it. Overall, I would check it out if you are a fan of the actors or have seen work directed by director because it is not for everyone. I lost interest in the latest episode which is episode 14. I hope it give you a better understanding on the drama but these are my opinion.

If you are a fan of the cast definitely watch it

This was written by the writer of Cruel City which was one of my favorite drama up until this day, but this drama was good 1-12 because after that I just lost interest. I as everyone else thought it was a drama about con artists and how the became the person they are, but it didn't go too much into it, so therefore i was disappointed. However, I liked the chemistry and they all play their role really well. I just wish there was more structure in the plot and it was flesh out. Overall, I enjoy it.

If you are a fan of the cast give it a try

I really like the cast that they put together, but it just couldn't really save the drama for me to be honest. This was written by a writer that previously wrote a story abut a woman who was loved by two brothers. This is what the drama is about, but it is more than that because we learned about each character and the backstory. We may or may not agreed with their actions it is our choice as a viewer. However, the the scenery was beautifully film. I really like that the actor brought their A game and did the best they can to salvage the drama. Throughout this drama, I am trying to find a reason to why I should just forgive or let things that happen in this drama slide even though I do not agreed with it, but the Jin Crazy ex gf is just unbelievable and Hwan feelings toward Ye Ji was just pathetic, but I have to give the actors kudos for doing it so well. You can't help, but hate and love them at the same time.

If you are a fan of the actornor actress give it a try if not check it out for the plot

I have seen some works written by the writer so I decided to check it because of the hyped it was getting prior to watching the drama, but while it does talks about youth and chasing their dream. In the end, the second half wasn't as good as it could be and they have brought on some unnecessary sub plot and it just loss the sense of direction. However, I give credit to the actors for doing their best in their role, but it wasn't enough. If you are a fan of the actors/actress definitely give it a try or if you are a fan of the writer do not let my review stop you from watching it because this is just my opinion. You have to watch it and let yourself decide whether or not you like it.

What you need to know before starting this 16 hour journey.

This was one of the top notch drama I've seen this year and I've seen a lot through my life times which is not that many. First off I really like the plot development that happened in each episodes. At first I was kinda hesitant to start because of the drama title also because the writer was someone who I have not heard of, but I would suggest don't let that stop you from starting this amazing done drama.

The drama not only talked about mental illness, and different disorders, but it talks about the relationship about different personality individual that have things that they are dealing with, and are more similar than they may think.

What i really liked about this drama is everything ties with each other and how the representation was done. There wasn't anything that I disliked about that show, but other than that it ended too quickly. The main lead had a lot of chemistry with each other and I like how they heal each other and different ways. There was only one antagonist that tried to make it hard for the main characters lives, but you have to watch to find out more.

The OST was really good and I would highly suggest giving this a try whether or not your a fan of Kim Soo Hyun, Oh JUNG SE or Seo Yi JI. I appreciated the message that they were trying to give out to the viewers. However, I wouldn't rewatch it not because I didn't enjoy the drama, but I think one is enough to remain in my memory for a long time.

This drama is obviously written by the Hong Sisters and they have written several best hit, but for me personality this drama was the best work up to date in my opinion. To be honest, I was hesitant to start this drama because of the past written works by the Hong Sisters, but this drama change my perception and I decided to give it a try.

There is no main characters other than the leads of course being Lee Ji Eun and Yeo Jin Goo, but many of the side characters is what made the drama shine as well. However, I would suggest reading the plot to see if you are interested and give a tried because base on the plot it seem to be a typical Korean drama that has been done, but this one is different and you won't regret it. There are 16 episodes and each episode there is a meaningful story and guest cameo is well.

This drama started out really well. The opening scene has captivated thus far, but lately the last few episodes has been dragging on and on. Because of the high rating, the drama was extended to a total of 52 epodes, with two episodes in one. However, I feel like some things could've been resolved before hand, but in stead it was meant to be dragging on. There are many things I can say about each individual characters, but I will leave it up to your risk to watch the drama.
One thing I must say if they are going to have two different actors portray Na Wang Shik...they should've find someone that is quite similar to the character it self. It didn't make sense to find a big actor to play the role then cast Choi Jin Hyuk to replace him and the staff thinks we don't know what they did there, but we all knew what happen like all of the sudden he was not big and he was skinny and he was good looking. How does that happen?

Most of the actors that were cast for their role I am sure they are nice person in real life or so, because they are portraying a character since it is their job after all. However, this drama has a lot of makjang elements to it. At some point I just stop pay attention to the plot because of how ridiculous this drama was. Some of the reactions from the actors was just too dramatic. The writer have written several high rating drama, but I wouldn't say this was her best work. Despite this being a Korean drama, I believe it should still make sense in a way and everything can't just be put together without seeing how the flow of the drama went.

Because of the extension, Choi Jin Hyuk, the actor that play Na Wang Shik is getting less screen time since he finished filming his part last week and therefore we won't see him in the last 4 episodes, but his body is shown which doesn't really make sure nor does it help much because we have already ship Sunny with him, but then she'll most likely not end up with him nor the emperor, I don't mind if she doesn't end up with anyone to be honest.

Overall, I didn't touch the main points, but I won't be rewatching this. However, props to the actors and their hard work and better luck choosing the next project.

Honestly, I have always been a fan of long dramas, but this drama was really frustrating to me. Since the beginning to the end, I had high hopes for it, but after a while I was getting tired of it. This drama is similar to Heaven Promise, but the revenge didn't happen until much later. To be completely honest, I don't think I am going to change my opinion on this drama at all. The acting was on point and I really hated the "villain" in this drama. There were a few that I considered to be. I really enjoyed toward the middle of the drama, but then after that I felt it was dragging on and on. I don't blame the actors, but the rather the writing. I really dislike how certain things could've been solved a long time ago but then it took a few or more episodes for it to be completely solved. There were a few things I didn't like, but I'm not going to spoil it for you.  In the end, if you are looking for good revenge drama or haven't seen any. I do think you should give it a try. However, this drama will test your patience.

This series started out very well. The first six episodes were good, but then it went downhill from there. I felt the love story could have been resolved right at the beginning, but it dragged on and on.

The story was good, but the plot was same old same old. Some of the my questions were not answered. I like this drama because both actors loved the girl in a different way maybe more than another. The suspense was a good add to the drama, but they couldn't keep up with to the end. How the problem resolve was not resolve in a good way.

I dislike this drama because they didn't really solve the mystery and why it started was not solved. If you love the actors, I suggest giving it a try. The love triangle was entertaining and cute at the same time.

I would rematch it, but only if I am bored.

Loved the music

Overall it was a good ride, but only if the story remained good.

Before I write the review, I just want to say that all this is my opinion and it up to you if you agree or not. I Just finished this drama and I wanted to say that. My 16 hours was well spend. I could see how the writer won the contest with this script because it was well written.

Story: I really enjoyed the story. Everyone have secret. Each and every one of them is different. But the story, was fresh. From episode one to the last episode. All the things that was happening was just beyond what I have expected. It kept me on edge most of the time. In Korean dramas you see a girl do anything for man she love, but this one was different. It doesn't focus on the main character, but the people as well. If you are in a mood for something different then this drama is a must. Some might like it, and some might not. I felt the ending was a bit rushed and it could have been better.

Acting: The main characters and supporting character did a good job. I really hate the mom and Do Hoon. Bae Soo Bin, I really hated his character. So props to him for doing so well.

Music: My favorite was Incurable Disease by Navi.

Rewatch: Definitely, but not for a while.

Overall: I really enjoyed this drama. There were some parts that was draggy, but overall it was good.

Let me first start off that I have not seen any other versions of Swordsman, but I really enjoyed this one. Even though, some parts were draggy but overall it was good.

Story: I really enjoyed the story of Ling Hu Chong and his adventures. Even though, there were some parts I was really annoyed with him. The audience could see the truth, but he can't so that ironic. Overall, I thought the story was fresh and well done. I need to watch the other versions and do a compare and contrast though. I feel that Dong Fung Bai deserved more then she was getting. Watch it then you will know what I mean.

Acting: I like the main leads acting and I didn't really pay attention to the others, but they did a good job.

Music: Loved the theme song.

Rewatch Value: I will watch it again, but not a few years because it better to watch it few years later then right away. Especially since it 42 episodes.

Overall: I loved Joe Chen and Wallace Huo chemistry. I didn't like him and the other girl.

One day, I was browsing through Viki and I found this drama. I am so glad I did because it was one of the best one I have seen! The love story between the Prince and Lu Zhen was amazing. Don't let the number of episodes scared, you the episodes are only 45 minutes long, but it get shorter.

Story: I thought it was interesting. Out of all the mainland drama I have seen none of the plot intrigue me like this one. The first female prime minister; how cool is that right? This drama is about her journey to becoming a prime minister and her love story with the prince. How at a certain age she started to feel thing she never feel before. Of course there are people that don't like her, but she doesn't let them be. She takes revenge against them. She is one of the strong female lead that I like.

Acting: I didn't know the leads actor before I started watching this drama, but they both did a good job; Even the supporting cast. Gui Gui was so funny and cute. I really hate the antagonist.

Music: I only like the opening theme.

Rewatch Value: I would totally watch it again, but probably not for a while because 59 episodes is too long.

Overall: I really enjoyed it. Even though, they argue for the most random things. I really hope Chen Xiao and Zhao Yi Ling date because they are so cute.

Story: I thought the drama was well done. It was fresh and different from what I have seen. Before, I started watching this drama; I didn't look up the history nor did I knew Lan Ling Wan fate. So thank goodness I didn't. But then later, I went and look up his fate it said that he was going to died around age 30. I was like if he going to died then how is there a story about him? But I was wrong. It possible to have a story. A very touching love story William Feng, Ariel Lin, and Daniel Chan love story was amazing. Both guys deserved her. I didn't like her ending though.

Acting: I felt the main lead and supporting did a good job. There are two antagonist here. Even though, you will hate them. But they have a reason to why they are bad. Daniel Chan acting has improved since his Chinese Ghost Story days!

Music: The OST was amazing. I liked all of it, but my favorite was Heart of Palms.

Rewatch: If I find a DVD I will surely watch it again.

Overall: There were no boring moments at all, but the war scene could have been better. You could tell that it was faked and the extras were in so much pain even though the sword was not close to hurting them, but overall I enjoyed it nevertheless.

Story: I thought it was interesting and different from all the dramas I have seen. It was worth my time. Since it rare that drama has plot focusing on high school student. So that was a plus! There was not much romance, but a lot of friendship. I envied the student friendship. I liked the fact that they were always there for each other :)

Acting/Cast: I thought everyone did a great job even the supporting character. In my opinion, there was no antagonist. Everyone did their role really well. I was able to relate to some of students and their struggle for school.

Music: The Ost was amazing! It suit the drama really well. Sometimes, I would search for the Ost and it would bring back so much memory.

Rewatch Value: I would watch it again if I have time. It was not boring at all and it was funny and cute at the same time.

Overall: I really enjoyed the the drama. I learned a lot from the drama and all the tips I have learn I am using it for school. This drama taught me that school is really important and that I have to study a lot if I want to be successful.
