All the dramas that I've dropped are due to a) annoying/ludicrous storyline/characters, b) couldn't peak my interest or c) they are just plain bad/boring.

Sometimes I do end up finishing dramas that I don't like. It depends on my mood.

Hello Starlitelet. It's been a while. How are you?
  • educto1 Sep 17, 2012
    Hmm, Arang...

Romance about to progress. If you're in to Fantasies+crime solutions+Heaven and Hell and some Fortune-telling then watch it.lol And oh, I forgot about the ghosts. haha

    It's good for me.

Haha, we have the same thoughts! Well, for me, I dropped it during the ep. 3. I thought they're just fooling us around, SM TOWN? GAh! hehe They were just rookies. We'll never know they'll get to improve.

I watched the first 2 eps of Nice Guy, and yeah, I'm starting to love Moon Chae Won. I already saw her in TPM, but I didn't feel her there, but in Nice Guy? Wow. just wow, she fits those kind of roles. Brave girl. I'm not into Park Si Yeon though, but I'm totally in for Song Joong Ki's HOTNESS.though he was some kind of a stupid instead of a nice guy.lol

I'm loving it so far, I watched it last night, already before midnight, I was totally awake. And yeah, the plot, nothing special about it, it's mainly about REVENGE.

To the Beautiful You, HAna Kimi Kversion. I just don't like the lack of acting skills by the rookies there. I just feel like their doing a High School Role-Play.lol

Whoa, Nice Guy, I'll be watching that in a minute. So, what else can you say about it aside from its heaviness? lol

Nononono, the last episodes is not a let down. I haven't watched episode 18 yet... but I'm going to do it! Gakistal is the best drama!! and I'm a little Joo Won biased :3 hehehe. I agree with the equally strong protagnist and villain, I hate annoying characters.. right now I'm watching The moon that embraced the sun, thinking that I would be as good as TPM. The story is good, but the drama is sometimes slow. But when it stars picking up its exciting! I have 3 episodes left, and then I'll watch Queen Seon Duk :)
  • XXxxEllyxx Jul 31, 2012
Yeah , Bridal mask is the best drama for 2012 for me !!!
  • bakedfatpotato Jul 30, 2012
Thank you for accepting! :) The princess man is actually my favorite drama, Park Shi Hoo and Moon Chae had the perfect chemistry! And the story was absolutely brilliant^^ If Gakistal continues being this brilliant every week I don't know which one of them will place first in my favorite list. I was wondering if Queen Seon Duk is good? I'm in the mood for historical drama while I wait for BM:)

Btw, I love your avatar ;)

How wonderful to live in Canada. What city? I have been to Vancouver a couple of time.

I lived in Iran for 3 years as a child. I am so glad that I had that experience. Such a difference to living in the West. I hope the rest of the world doesn't become too Westernized as so much would be lost. Though I think unfortunately that is happening already.
I know what you mean about the shadow. I learnt about Jung as a teenager and started learning to be comfortable with looking honestly at my own stuff. I think when one doesn't is maybe when it becomes perverted and out of control. But you are right one doesn't know how one would act until one is in a situation oneself.
I do know though many people in the west who are pretty objective at looking at their parents and not buying into some of the BS that was dished up. Of course then we have to look at our own too. hahaha
    take care :)

I have a lot on my plate too and am hoping to be able to tear myself away from watching these so much. They are so addictive!!! But I felt I learnt a lot from watching these dramas. Also there is a sweetness to many of the Koreans that I don't see in Americans or Europeans.
I started watching Starlitelet because I was looking for something to watch on Netflix.
Which I have found to be very difficult as most of the shows were so boring. So when I saw the great reviews for City Hunter I thought to give it a try. And that was it, I was hooked. I recently turned one of my female patients onto K-dramas and now she is hooked to. She told me today that she tries to balance her life by making equal time for American and Korean shows! hahaha As you know I have gone completely to the other side. haha.

I have almost finished watching How to Meet a Perfect Neighbour. I really enjoyed this.
I started watching this for Park Shi Hoo but ended up enjoying just watching all the colourful Korean characters. The more I watch these dramas it seems the more I am appreciating them if they are well acted. For me the quality of the acting seems to be the most important.
So sorry about AGD. That's so disappointing. The story looked really good in the beginning. Hopefully it will pick up.
I don't think I will go back to Big. I finished I do I do. Sorry if I already mentioned that before. I did really enjoy it. What impressed me the most is how her, the main character. was so cool with the CEO's daughter when she was trying to back stab her. Like she understood her struggle and angst. The expression of confusion on the CEO's daughter would always be so funny.
