For a Boys Love (BL) series, well, it was an average show. Light, fluffy and of not much substance to speak of in itself, whether in terms of storyline, acting or style.
The raw and green acting from majority of the cast was a serious liability and could not get me really absorbed or invested in the characters or their relationships as there were many scenes that came across unnatural, manufactured, obviously scripted and posed for the camera and for fan service. I know all shows are scripted but I'd like for the actors, the director and the script to at least make a token effort and be compelling and mesmerising enough so that you forget that the people on the screen are acting and see them as someone real or believable whose story or situation you can get invested in.
The plot/ premise is extremely basic - childhood crush pursued and fulfilled in university. There is not much conflict or character development to speak of here.
An average drama with a basic storyline with barely-OK actors - my personal 2 cents. Great if you like bubblegum shows full of fan-service.
