The 2017 version is a Japanese Remake of the Korean Version. Tatsuya Fujiwara is brilliant here as Park Shi Hoo was in the first one.

Same action fast paced and the female leads are similar in several aspects. Both male leads assume the identity of another person. Both of them have to work to some bad guy to achieve their goal.

And at least, they deal with corruption in high places with a touch of comedy.

Its said that Windstruck acts like a prequel to MSG. I recommend watch MSG first, because you will get the references more quickly.

But, while MSG is more like a Rom-com, Windstruck is more like a melodrama with a hint of action and comedy.

Two stories are somewhat similar when you look at the relationships between the characters.

- Both male leads are outstanding doctors with little experience of fighting at the beginning
- Both female leads are the best disciples of a sect responsible to protect the world.

Fighter of Destiny, because its more extended, has more character growth and more arcs, but the feeling is the same.

The feeling of these two are kinda similar. The protagonists have Ice Magic and are drown to a war that they dont want to fight. Some aspects of the two main male leads are similar, with one who grows over time in contrast with the one who are powerful since the beginning.

Even the female leads are kinda similar.

Both series have the same vibe. Both have a female cop partnership with the leader of forensic team to solve murders with the most advanced forensics tecnologies. If you ask, iHero is a taiwanese version of Forensic Heroes, but CSIC have a diversified team. (From hackers to behavioral analysts).

If you like the Forensic Heroes series, you might check it out this Taiwanese Drama.

Both dramas have physicists working with a female detective. Kingsley and Galileo have somewhat similar eccentric personalities. The Mysteries of Love is the Chinese Version of Galileo with more romance.

They both have private dectetives who do anything for money and women, but have a sense of justice of some sort. The main leads in both series have the same vibe. The only difference between the dramas is the sci-fi focus on The Crossing Hero, but even in the action, Ji Woo and Hong Xiao Dong are two sides of the same coin. If you like Fugitive you will like TCH.

Its the same story, only to be retold differently. I recommend watch the Drama Series first, because has some more info about the Nine Clans and some other stuff.

The movie is better, as the exploration of the tomb was more well done with endless traps and elusive escapes. If you like or dont like much the Drama Series, its sure you will like the movie.

The two works have:

- Protagonists highly intelligent and physically disabled
- Duel of two great strategists in turmoil times.
- Political plots

But in Nirvana In Fire, the plot goes more smoothly.
