My name is Clara, I'm a college student, hard working and cheerful woman ;) addicted to korean dramas since last year. I can watch Taiwanese or Japanese dramas but I prefer Korean Dramas. I love love romantic Dramas. I'm not a person who actually sign up for any website but this one called my attention. Aside from my sister (who is another person addicted to Dramas) I don't have anyone else to talk about Dramas, so I'm hoping I can make friends who share the same interest in Dramas and can recommend me dramas to watch! :P I have become a little picky when selecting what to watch. like you can see in my drama list, My favorites ones so far are Secret Garden and queen in hyuns man. :)

Yeah, they did overplay the amnesia card on Nice Guy, but to me it was still an awesome drama. YES! Autumn's Concerto was AMAZING! I love it too. I do like 7th Grade Civil Servant, bc I really like the comedy. I want to take a break from so much melodramas (and here I'm waiting for That Winter... lol). I can't say I loved Protect the Boss; it was really boring for me and I dropped it.
What I'm waiting to be subbed it the move Love 911 and Wolf Boy. I can't wait to watch those movies. Who I'm really anticipating to make a drama and/or movie soon as well are Hyon Bin and Kim Nam Gil (both out of the army).

I'm still debating whether or not to watch Faith. Tell me what you overall think when you're done. I really liked Reply 1997; it was really funny and nostalgic. I know what you mean about being in a drama dry spell. I really loved Innocent Man, and after that drama, I couldn't watch anything good until I saw Autumn's Concerto and Reply 1997 and back again not interested much in the current dramas, which are ok. I'm currently watching Level 7 Servant, it's ok. I never liked much of the leading lady, Flower Boy Next Door is ordinary. I'm waiting for That Winter, The Wind Blows to start.

Hey, I've been well! I understand, I've been busy with school and work too and yes late happy new years! What I recommend, if you havent watched yet, is Reply 1997. It's refreshing and comedic. I really loved it. The movie Sunny is very funny too; it's a friendship movie. The movie As One was really good too.
I really liked The King of Dramas but it dragged in the end (heard it was extended, thats why). School 2013 was ok.
    What would you recommend.

    Hey :D
I've been busy, it's almost the end of my school semester, but good. After mid-December hits, I have so much drama watching to catch on, lol. I had to drop/postpond many and only have watched one, Nice Guy--which by the way is AMAZING. Weds and Thurs is the finale. I'm hoping it's a satisfactory ending.

How are you? What have you been up to?

    Now for a longer watch...

Hmm.. 'Salaryman' is a great one, well-crafted, unexpected in so many ways. As I was very hesitant to watch it primarily because I wasn't a particular fan of the leads and the Synopsis didn't actually had any immediate pull for me. When I finally picked it up, it was because I was craving for some mystery/suspense/thriller which is what I was expecting it to be. Turned out so different but vastly enjoyable. So, I would highly recommend it, but not if you're main craving is Romance 'coz I don't consider it the central theme for that drama.

Here's what I would recommend for now to possibly satisfy your need of a romance drama:

    Buzzer Beat
    9 End 2 Outs
    Spring Waltz

Hi Clara thanks for asking. I'm all good, just mainly busy with work but still keeping with my main addiction ha ha :D

I hope you're keeping well yourself.

To get you more in the mood, you might want to indulge first in these movies for a quick romantic watch:

    I Will Teach You Love
    200 Pounds of Beauty
    100 Days with Mr. Arrogant

Hi clara. I enjoyed QIHM, but I can not say it's my favorite for several reasons. First, even though the female character was very lovely, I could not relate to her because I generally don't understand this kind of people. Second, the male character, I didn't particularly like. He was alright for the purpose, but he was a bit stiff and I don't think he is as good of an actor as the main girl. The "chemistry" between them seemed to be purely because of her acting skills. Finally, before watching that, I watched 3 other time travel dramas: Rooftop Prince, Dr. Jin and Faith. I thought they had much more other interesting stuff and a lot more emotion. I see you dropped Rooftop Prince, why? And why did you like QIHM?

Hi claraelisaestrella! How have you been? So, by your recommendation I watched Queen In Hyun's Man. Thanks for the rec. I enjoyed it since I managed to finish it in about 3 days. Everyone is talking about the chemistry between the leads, but somehow I only felt the chemistry from her side but not from his. Maybe she is just a better actress. Now that I watched it, what did you like about it?
  • compay Oct 9, 2012
Haha, I was also annoyed in the beginning and only watched because a lot of people were saying it's the best show and so on. It actually was not that funny and I even had some tears by the end. But the thought I had while watching it is that people probably like to watch time traveling shows because they feel superior to the people in the past. Same thing with Dr. Jin. Was it like this with queen in hyuns man?

Hi Clara! I was actually thinking to watch that drama, this is great that you told me, just confirms that I really should. I see you like the fantasy dramas, how come you dropped Rooftop Prince?

You're welcome! It's one of my all time fav. movies. I love the thrilling and romance in it. I loved the ending!

I love Bridal Mask the most. Faith looks promising. Arang and the Magistrate also has possibilities. I?m only watching Haeundae Lovers because I adore Kang Woo. It is supposed to be funny, but I?m not really into that kind of comedy. Reply 1997 is ok, it is short so I?m not going to drop it. To The Beautiful You has eye candy, but it seems like a pretty typical plot. I?m really enjoying Protect the Boss too. I have laughed a lot through that drama so far.
