If I had to choose one drama starring Bae Yong Jun, I'd probaly pick up 'Winter Sonata'. The story is quite nostalgic and has very romantic scenes. I don't like specially the actress for the main role but it has the stellar appearance of the deceased Park Yong Ha (God keep in his glory). If you like romantic love stories you musn't miss this one. My favourite track from the Ost: 'My memory'

After watching Ji Sung in 'Protect the boss', I discovered this other drama where he has the leading role. I comfirmed that his acting was excellent as well and keep me interested to the end hooked by the intringuing plot. I found many good things about this drama, as the outstanding casting, the mistery about family secrets and melodramatic scenes. But I cannot score it higher because is lacking in other aspects such a too complicated dialogues sometimes difficult to follow if you are not very keen in the business topic. Romance, although is intertwined with the story is not as relevant as I think it should be. Even if the argument is quite well done, it loses strengh by the long and no ending sequences of talking about shares, companies and politics.
Of course this is only a personal opinion and it doesn't mean that the drama isn't worthy to watch, at contrary, I recommend don't miss this interesting story full of treasons, confronted feelings and tragedy.

This is one of the best dramas I have ever watched! I can say a thousand positives things about it and I find hard to found any negative.
Reasons to recommend this drama:
- An amazing touching and unforgivable love story with perfect chemistry between the couple and true hot kisses that would makes your heart flutter like crazy.
- The original and thrilling plot with endless twists and surprises that would make you wonder what is going to happen next (and hardly you would even guess it right).
- Excitement, suspense and insatiable hunger for keep watching without stop. Highly addictive once you start.
- There are 20 episodes and you don't have enough. After finished you still thinking "What happened?" "What was all this about?" "Did I really understand the whole thing?" ; and when you believe to have understood all, then you just start to feel confuse again. Definitely need to be rewatched to enjoy of this details you didn't know at the beginning were important.
- Despite of many time-travel theme dramas out there this one from my opinion is the best.

Weak points in the drama:
- Perhaps for more experts in time-travel theories the plot might have some holes or inaccuracies but as a general viewer I didn't find huge mistakes as in other dramas with similar plots.
- The music fitted well to create the adequate atmosphere according to the scenes filmed at the time. However a good original selection of romantic songs would have helped in the enhancement of the romance.

At last, I would like to mention that I enjoyed very much of the acting setting and conclusion in this drama. Again and again, Lee Jin Wook and Jo Yoon Hee were brilliant together, you really wish their love would survive after all eventualities. I hope to see more great moments with Lee Jin Wook in the new drama "The Three Musketeers".

"Best Time" is a drama with many good points that deserved my score of 9, but some downsides that refrained me to give it a perfect score 10.
The storyline I think, was wisely drew on a mixture of a workplace setting with a very complicated and melodramatic romance that keep you hooked in your seat despite of the 47 episodes length. At the contrary of other business related dramas this one never was boring neither disappointing but catches your interest and make you enjoy of the competition and challenges that comes up. In reference to the romance has something really good and that is the unexpected outcomes. It seems for a moment that the plot is so evident and is leading you to believe that the female lead would tilted to love a one person in particular but later you realise that maybe you were wrong. So you keep waiting for what would happen next. I must say that this drama is based on the novel "The most beautiful time" by Tong Hua.
The acting was generally good. Although, I didn't like much the character of Su Man's best friend. I was so please to see Chang Janine here (who has a main role in the new Chinese drama "You light up my star", starring with Cheng Joe). I think she is very good at melodramatic roles. Plus she has a good chemistry with Chung Wallace in this drama.
I liked the music, about all the opening song that repeats throughout the drama.
I gave a reasonable rewatch value because there are some episodes really touching that you wouldn't mind to watch again although maybe 47 episodes would be more difficult to digest twice.
I don't like to disclose the ending but I think there is something that has to be said as it is important to understand for what the sequel " Best Time Special" stand for. At the same time, is a fact already known by fans who have read articles about this drama, so it cannot be considered as a spoiler itself, neither rest any attractiveness to watch the drama...
...This drama has an open ending, this means that there are some loose ends. I believe the intention was to leave the viewers to get their own conclusions about how the romance should ends. So when you finish to watch the last episode you are given the chance to conclude the story there or if you feel disappointed or are really willing to see what happens next, then you might opt to watch the sequel, a 2 episodes specials in which you get a recollection of the whole story with two different endings.

This extension with alternative endings I think was a fans service for those who were hooked with the emotions and heartbreaking fates of the characters and unhappy with not knowing what happened to them. However, I particularly found this ambiguous conclusion and added endings quite a negative downside. My reasons are that the drama does not give you all what you want when they already spent 47 episodes for that; in addition, the special doesn't get under your skin as it did the whole story, maybe because it felt to forced or just as a thriller that in its more tense scene takes a break for some adds and then ruins the suspense. I would rather preferred they finished the story in one or other way at once without need to make the specials,

Anyway, I enjoyed much of this drama and I definitely recommend to watch it if you like romantic stories. The good think is that you can choose what ending you prefer and even see what would could happened otherwise.

I've been delaying to watch this drama influenced by the low popularity and low score given. But I have to say that after watching a few episodes, my impression started to change at the same time that it was growing my interest to know how it will end this story. I think the plot is quite interesting and original. Despite of the common topics like orphan girl with a dark past trying to climb on society and making the rich guy fell in love with her, etc. The development of the characters was brilliant and get the spectator to empathise with them and their dramatic relationships. I specially liked the way these characters were presented in a more wider view than simply bad or good people. For me, these two sides of the personality made them more realistic than in other dramas where normally are classified as the bad or good girl/guy. I disagree with other opinions about Park Yoochun saying that his acting it wasn't good enought. I think he did a good job playing the role of a rich guy who knows nothing about the real world and how his relationship with the woman we fell in love making him to learn about the bitterness of love. Not mentioned that Lee Da Hae was amazing in her interpretation and made me to love and hate her character through this frenetic net of lies. The other main leader, played by Kim Seung Woo it was also great and I loved the fact that It was significant in the plot and not just something to create friction between the other two main characters. I really recommend to watch this drama and not to be influenced by rankings but with a critical and open mind.

I'm not a passionate of classic music but when I watched this drama I couldn't stop until the last episode, even when I already knew the plot because I previously watched the anime version. Tamaki Hiroshi is outstanding in his role of Chiaki. Yuri Ueno was also incredible in her role of Nodame. Very reliable to the original anime. I recommend to watch the continuation 'Special in Europe' where they move to Paris aiming to do their real performance (Chiaki as a director and Nodame in her solo concerto)Even for people that don't understand much about classic music is quite interesting and addictive.

Romantic comedies are my favourites but sometimes is difficult to find a good movie in this genre because many of them fall in boring predictable plots with a poor good impression after watching it once. I must say that I was really pleased to watch "I'll teach you love" despite of its little original plot and not much surprises or twists in the storyline. The acting of the main actors was really good with a good chemistry between the couple and very sweet scenes. I particularly liked the meaning behind the flowers, which definitely gave the rewatch value to the movie together with other details that you might missed the first time. Later you would be curious to find out this special meaning once you already know the end,
The music was good to create a romantic mood so I scored high because fitted well to the movie.
I would recommend for a Sunday afternoon romantic movie session. Better watch with your partner or a box of chocolates instead if you don't have one :)

I wanted to watch this drama but I started with the first season because I thought that INR2 it would be a continuation of the previous one, although only one of the new couples was related to the previous plot. Anyway,I enjoyed with some aspects of this new drama like the no-ending relationship between Lee Jin Wook and Jung Yoo Mi and the intrusion of Kim Ji Suk between them, as well as the other secondary plots. What it let me down a bit was the incoherence sometimes in the development of the characters that it took realism away and it made of the whole a non-understandable and illogical story. In this way, I prefer the first INR which presented a good story-line and a lot of chemistry between the main lead actors. In the new INR, this chemistry showed up from time to time but I felt that it was strongest with the second guy, Kim Ji Suk than with Lee Jin Wook, who supposed to have the spotlight of the romance.
For those who didn't watch any of the INR, I will recommend to watch first the 2 season, so they will be not disappointed when watching the first one afterwards.

I started this drama because of Cheng Joe, although I was a bit reluctant by the poorly rated reviews. It wasn't easy to watch at the beginning. I mean, the first episode was fine because created the tension for the setting and make you want to continue to discover how the story would develop, but after few episodes starts to be boring and really confusing. You don't know where the plot is leading and characters sometimes seemed so plane. Being a drama where the male lead (Cheng) plays a role sort of investigator (although he is an anchorman) is missing the point to keep you interested in discover what is hidden and willing to know what happens next. The music is nice but too repetitive sometimes. Actors, I think they do well, the problem is that the storyline do not allow them bright more in their roles. Although you can see how hard they try to give the best in their scenes.

After all said until now you would probably think there is not much worth in watching it. Therefore, I would give you my reasons for what I recommend this drama.
Even if I criticized the lack of mystery and thrill, the plot isn't bad. Though the idea could be much better if they cut a lot of unnecessary filling. I feel also that lead actors need more deepness and appeal at the beginning so you can empathise and care for what happen to them. However from the half of the drama toward to the end, everything amazingly changes for better. The characters turn more attractive and have more presence in the story with really good dramatic and touching sequences. Kuo Amber becomes the protagonist in this second part where everything spins around her. I loved the teasing of Cheng in this drama and his tenderness towards her. Cheng always masters the romantic scenes in all his dramas and this one is not an exception.
So if you have patience and don't give up at the beginning you would enjoy more with the direction the story takes later on.

This drama has many weak points that would lead you to an unavoidable disappointment. Starting for a typical romantic plot (smart and handsome guy / poor and clumsy girl in love with him), which we have seen many times already. Although the worst is not the lack of originality, which is not essential for a success in a drama, but the non-existent excitement neither twists that keep you interested in the storyline. I also agree with those people who qualify this drama as superficial and missing deep in the development of the characters. The male lead seems to start liking the girl without any evident reason in my opinion, so it does not feel real. The role of the female lead also seems so artificial sometimes - which is her real interest, photography or the guy?. Her courage to confess is for real? I still do not understand how someone who has never been in love before and without confidence about the other person's feelings, is so straightforward to say what she feel in such overdone way.

However, there are also positive things about the drama that might make you watch it and enjoy. The best strength lies in the photography. I do not know if the reason had something to do with the theme of the story, but the stills through all drama are really well done. My first impression was that this drama served as an excuse of some fanatic director with photography. Some sequences looked much like a MV with nice angles and colours. The make-up stands out for its perfectionism and actors enhancement on the screening. The acting of Cheng Joe and Li Fei Er was as remarkable as it could be with the poor and awful dialogues the writer lazily wrote. At the end, the whole thing was barely saved by the two lead actors and beautifully filmed sequences.

I would recommend anyway for fans of Cheng Joe. He is incredibly attractive and handsome in this drama and you feel in the main actress' shoes, stupidly dumb looking at how gorgeous and sexy he is in every shot. This bring me memories from my dear Hiroshi in "Heavenly forest", who also portrayed a photographer.

I must say that this drama is one of my favourites. I love the role of Kim Nam Gil. The plot is really intriguing and catch your interest from the beginning to the end. One thing I like from this drama is that beside the main romance there is a secondary story very credible and passional. Probably one of the more sexy looks of Kim Nam Gil. The music is amazing. 'Thorn Flower' is my favourite track. Dialogues are also well done. I highly recommend to watch it!
Please, It will be good if people don't make comments about the ending. I personally liked it and if you want to know what happen, just find out by yourself.

Boys Before Flowers was my first Korean drama. I'd been watching Japanese drama until then and when I found this drama I became fan of Korean dramas too. Although Lee Min Ho is the main actor of the story I fell in love at first sight with Kim Hyun Joon. I normally don't put much attention to female roles, but actress Ku Hye Sun made a wonderful interpretation here. She is so funny and sweet. I also watched the Japanese version but I prefer this one. I bought the original DVD and has a special place in my collection.
