I prefer to read other people's reviews about dramas and movies than write my own.
This way I'm able to filter out the crappy ones rather than invest hours or episodes into a drama only to realise that either I can't stand the character or actor, the story makes no sense, there are just too many holes in the plot or it leaves you unsatisfied.
Writing reviews has been on my to-do list for a while, unfortunately watching trumps writing. Sorry, I'll get there one day...
I go through my drama and movie phases, and for the past year it's been Korean/Japanese dramas with recent Taiwanese drama viewing.
As a teenager I loved Hong Kong movies and pre-teen I used to watch a lot of horrors (mostly Japanese) which has probably scarred me so much that I don't enjoy them anymore. Thrillers is fine, horror is not unless it's comical.
For many many years, I was really into western dramas/series/movies like Sherlock Holmes starring Basil Rathbone, really old black and white movies (1920-50), Agatha Christies/Hercules Poirot, Alfred Hitchcock, Jane Austen movies, european movies (loved watching SBS in Australia), Harry Potter.
Some of my favourite actors/actresses include:
Asian Actor - Takeshi Kaneshiro (if I could marry him I would)
Asian Actress - not quite sure yet
Australian Actress - Cate Blanchett
English Actor - too many, will update later
English Actress - too many, will update later
