For some reason, this actress keeps getting paired with underage individuals (see Club Friday M. 6/4's secret, super cute as well) Anyway, beautiful love story that love knows no numbers and age is simply just a number. Though the couple struggled to find their middle ground, they eventually overcame their struggles and found their way back to each other.

I LOOOVEEED THIS MOVIE. It is somewhat reminiscent of the Thai movie "A Little Thing Called Love" but it does hold its own and has that Taiwanese flair to it. I'm Thai but growing up in the 90's and being into C-pop back in those days, this movie tugged the strings in my heart with the girls being crazy with their singers etc....Lin Zhen Xin had her Andy Lau and I had my F4.

Onto the review, this movie is sweet and touching and just reminds you of what it's like being a teenager, high school and what it's like to like that one popular boy in school and thinking he does not see you at all. Main guy (as per usual) is a big bully but he isn't a rebel without a cause. He has a big heart and this movie left me in tears crying because the things our big bully does was sweet, but of course, that's what this sort of movie is meant to do, tug at your heart strings. Highly recommend.

I love this drama! So full of love and nostalgia. I didn't grow up in Korea in the 90s but I did grow up in Asia so this drama was sooo relatable when it came to obsessing over a group of singers. Eun Ji as the spunky Shi Won here wins my heart. The whole cast pretty much did. it's a good show to relive your teenage years. The story of the one sided love where two best friends know everything about each other except the elephant in the room which is that one of them is in love with the other. I also loved their theme of friendship and how they all grew together and remained themselves but a more mature version of themselves. I loved the 90s and I think this is a great portrayal of kpop culture in the 90s up until DBSK hit their peak ( which totally tugged my heart strings) this is the one to beat.

I put the story at around 7 because I feel that it is pretty confusing and I still wish that there were more developments on the backstory. More things could be fleshed out on that and some questions are left unanswered...

HOWEVER

Other than that plot hole, this show is superb. The writer has great attention to minor details and I found myself impressed how those little minor details make up the bigger picture. Park Min Young and Yoo Ji Tae were great here but Ji Chang Wook was phenomenal on this show. The way in which Ji Chang Wook was able to convey so much emotion in his eyes for each of the different persona he takes on is far beyond me. There are also no typical Korean drama cliches such as noble idiocy or too many deaths. I understand the comparison between this show and City Hunter is inevitable but both are solid shows on their own. This show exceeded all expectations of a Korean drama and raised the bar even higher. I've been watching korean dramas since 2004 and this is the one to beat.

A cute story that transcends all cultural barriers and language. A story of an innocence of a first love and doing everything to get noticed. Ah, young love. Humor doesn't translate well in English but the story itsef carries the heart of the show. Both Mario and Fern were great.

LOVE IS THE MOMENT~

That is all I remembered. Pretty cast but what a shame that the story was terrible. I think the ratings were due to the fact that it was an all-star cast. I ony finished it because I wanted to know what happened to young-do. It's the kind of drama-crack where all you really care about is the pretty on the show. Passable.

I started watching this show on a whim. I didn't know that it was a web drama...maybe that's why I haven't really heard of it.  This is one of those feel good, pick me up dramas.

Plot wise, there isn't anything new or surprising with this series. It all hits the typical tropes that exist in dramaland: aloof, cold hearted boy who, of course, happens to be the top student of his class, cheerful bubbly girl who isn't smart but the only thing she has going for her is that she LIKES this boy, Jiang Chen and the whole world knows that she does and there is no shame on her part. The whole story is basically the girl and the boy and all the adventures they go through during high school and college. Note, this is a love story so everything revolves around the love story. There may be some issues that you find in Asian societies such as the whole pressure of doing well in school and being depressed about it, or fulfilling your dreams vs your parents' dreams. Regardless of whatever the issue, the story is about Xiao Xi and whether or not Jiang Chen likes her back.

I liked Hu Yi Tian's acting but there isn't a whole lot to write about since he just has to keep quiet and act aloof for most of the show. Shen Yue's acting is a bit exaggerated but with this type of female character, that seems to be part of the package...you cry a whole lot and the audience just choose to either cringe along or cry with her.

Background music was tastefully done.  Some things I did not like was how Jiang Chen kind of bosses Xiao Xi around and she is just like a puppy waiting around for command. I wish there was more growth and character development for Xiao Xi because up until the end of the series, we are convinced that this girl can't do anything to save her life and she has to depend on her man for everything. That didn't sit well with me and she seemed even more stupid at the end of the series that I would like to believe.

uh, can I take back all the hours I wasted on this show?

I watched only because I wanted to see Minho act. Sulli was terrible. Idols shouldn't act unless they prove to have any potential at all. I have read the manga and I have also watched the Japanese version. If you want to watch this show, I think it would be better to watch it just to see all the pretty and silliness of it. The set was beautiful with a lot of bright colors and things but the story execution was so disappointing and awful. The Japanese one is so much better.

Cute easy watch. Lee Won Geun was great and held his own. Ji Soo was his troubled side kick. Eunji is a lot of fun to watch though her character wasn't as spunky as it was in Reply 1997 but I still loved her here nonetheless. It's like watching a high school rom-com. Adorable and lifts your spirit up to "follow your heart" and do what you love. It touches on the culture of competition in academic achievements and just how far some people are willing to go.

I watched it because I was a big fan of L from Infinite but wow, this show was pretty good without the fact that L was in it. Sung Joon was great as the male lead on this show. Super cute and adorable story about friendship and young love and the innocence of being care free and doing whatever your heart tells you to do.

SUPERB music score. I have to admit I only watched this because Lee Min Ho looks so good being a badass. There were some makjang plot points but the story was so well-driven that it can be overlooked. Great acting by Lee Min Ho. I watched this as it aired and two things that are memorable to me are: Lee Min Ho's acting and the great music score. Don't watch if you can't take intense plot lines because it can be pretty heavy.

The fashion on here for Rain was a big distraction...

This was the first Korean drama I watched after Autumn In My Heart took over Asia. I only watched it because I recognized Song Hye Kyo. This is a typical Korean drama with a lot of bickering and fighting and are we together? no, we're not together. Do I like him? Does she like me? It's a good ol' classic Korean drama. It is okay if you are starting to get into Korean dramas but Korean dramas now are nothing like ones in this era. It's light and fluffy though, so if you want something where there is really no emotional investment on the show, watch this.

This drama is cute and has great chemistry between Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk. The team that wrote and directed this is the same team that wrote and directed "I Hear Your Voice," which got me really interested in watching the show. Like in "I Hear Your Voice," one of the main characters has a condition that does not exist in the real world hence the title. The family elements of this show are so sweet and endearing and makes the noble idiocy more tolerable. I kind of lost interest 1/4 way down because the plot got less interesting then. It's a good show for passing title but not something that makes you rave about it so much.

This story is not meant for those looking for something light and fluffy. After finishing this series, I had to just take break mentally and emotionally because what happened on this show was so heavy for me. Great performance by Song Joong Ki and Moon Chae Won. Joong Ki looked great here. It's a complete role reversal from SKK Scandal for him.

When I first completed this drama, I rewatched it again 2 more times. THAT's how much I loved this show. I felt like Jung Hwan's experience was basically my experience and boy, I freaking CRIED when he told Deok Sun the truth. It felt so cathartic for me too.

Everything from the music, each character development, the friendship, the acting and the FEELINGS depicted of having lost your chance because you were too late and didn't make the right choice were SUPERB. I felt Jung Hwan's pain and felt as though I was just watching my life replay on the screen. I felt every emotion Jung Hwan went through. It was so gut wrenching but it was also a way to let go of the past. I still rewatch this show from time to time. It's so timeless and is a classic.
