This is the same director that filmed "Signal" and "Incomplete life", so of course, I had to watch it. Ever since he filmed Sunkyunkwan Scandal(in which Song Joong Ki and Yoo Ah In and Park Min Young won their popularity), I had my eyes on him. Any mediocre actor will win popularity through this director and Yim Si Wan is one of the many! This director has a knack for making every story so personal and special yet a different chill will run through your spine every time you watch his works. This film was a little(?), maybe a lot different different than his previous ones and I think he is the type of man who goes for challenges. I loved all of his films but this one in particular, I couldn't watch without crying from episode 6, and you will understand why.
This film was, compared to his previous ones, more deep and you will learn to hope and how to be a proper adult in the midst of hardship in life and what it means to be a real hero. He has a special way to resolve struggle and obstacles and deliver you to perfect climax and resolution. I highly recommend it and I hope the subtitle will be able to deliver the subtle yet strong message, and the beauty of this film.

At first, I was turned off by typical Hollywood storyline, and hesitated to watch it. But just the fact that the guy from Signal was the main character (Lee Je hoon), I did. Despite obvious story-line, it was well-done by both the actor and the director. I highly recommend it, you will want to watch it more than once and fall in love with it!

Different type of romantic drama

Lee Jun Gi's 2nd best film, not only for his acting but his stage makeup was just captivating! I knew it by episode 9 that this cannot be a happy ending but I kept on going.... why? the story portrays 3 different characters and how they love based on their belief, value system and their personality. It is unprecedented that the script doesn't follow the protocol of a romantic love story.. but it allows reality, the real life to kick in and shows how our choices bring consequences and affect the endings of our lives. It was sad, but at the same time, it makes you think about what is important in life. Of course, we have to take into consideration that back in Joseon Dynasty era, things were different and they had limited choices as princes & princesses. However, well-made drama, worth the time and you won't regret it!

One of my favorite drama, a perfect combination of suspense thriller, love story, humor and a lot more!
You will love it as well, the acting was great as well as the story line.... I fell in love with Park Hyung Sik watching this and a lot of viewer thought main characters in this drama were dating in real life, that was how real his acting was!!!!!! Of course, Park Bo Young is my fav female korean Actress as well. But I wanted to learn more about Park Hyung Sik. This is my 2nd favorite, My Mister is the 1st.
The author is full of imagination and sense of humor and she is the one who wrote "My love Eun-dong", "The lady in dignity". I loved both dramas but out of 3, Bong soon is my favorite!!!!!!
I am sure you will enjoy every single episode.

Incredibly romantic, it will suck you right in~

The first impression, I was in shock..... You know when you encounter something good, you know it's going to give it to you! The only downer is, it was too short and you can hardly expect season 2 since there isn't much left to lead on.
A beautiful love story that makes your heart flutter, dive deep into a fairy tale of a happy ending and you don't want it to end EVER. I watched both drama series version (more narratives) and movie version (edited), I personally like the movie version better, because of the music that was put it to intensify their emotional turning point. Besides, it is better to run your imagination than having someone to explain. Interesting character, Gook (Jang Eui Soo), he took my breath away by his looks and his acting. He was.... just so pure and innocent. It is a must watch if you are tired of the cliche that current romantic comedy is portraying.
