When you watch this, please always keep in mind the title of the show: The Locked Room Mysteries. It isn't your typical detective drama wherein you spend the episode collecting clues, understanding the motive, having a selection of suspects and all the chasing and gun - pointing scenes in between.

Some of the suspects may appear easy to point out from the beginning, but the point of this drama isn't the crime but how the room became a locked room and what it has to do with the case.

It is a very clever drama as it teaches you about locked rooms and teaches you aspects of a case at the same time. It has an episodic nature, but you won't get bored with the routine. In fact, you look forward to watching Enomoto-san work every time.

The drama is very plot-driven. Ohno Satoshi as Enomoto Kei was a delight to watch. The soundtrack is amazing and one of the best I have heard.

This is a must-watch for anyone who wants a good drama to watch.

The mix of Nagase Tomoya, Ikuta Toma and Kudo Kankuro already had GOLD written all over it. This is a quality Japanese comedy detective drama with a very good mix of everything. It doesn't try to be over the top and each episode has its own flavor of fun.

It is very entertaining especially with Unubore-san and his silly antics. The Unubore 5 are enjoyable to watch when they are together and even Nishida Toshiyuki-san contributes to the sillyness of everything.

You will also look forward to every end of the episode.

For quality comedy in its finest, this is a must-watch.

It is a very short drama. Not only is it 8 episodes, but also just 30 mins per episode. It is a bit unfortunate since the drama was very fun, but it was probably for the best since the writers didn't intend it to be a long story.
It is a typical family drama with the twist of your father returning from his icy grave and he is younger than you. The comedy was superb with Fujiwara Tatsuya playing the father to the 50 year old Takahashi Katsumi. It was too funny that you must not be surprised if you find yourself laughing at the time when Ojiichan is telling you a valuable life lesson.
If you are lookong for a breather drama, this is a good choice. More laughs than tears.

It is a very feel-good movie. It's a typical Japanese movie that seems foolish at the start, but truly has a lesson to share. The movie's main intention is for you to have fun and it is nice that there still movies like these.
I have to hand it to the chemistry between Aoi Nakamura and Ikematsu Sosuke because they are just charming together. And kudos to Sosuke-kun for bringing most of the comedy.
Please do watch it. No regrets.
