I liked your review of Pasta, I also couldn't stand the amount of misogyny in that drama :/ What did you think of Secret (the Kdrama)?

I always seem to find out about these things AFTER they're over and done with. Sigh. Ah well, I had exams around that time so I wouldn't have been able to go anyway. Thanks for telling me though!

Did you go? How was it?

P.S. Sorry for the months late reply, the last few months have been pretty hectic. :/

Yes, the first season of Switch Girl was truly nice, haha. I never thought I would like it, but, accomplice Renn Kiriyama for whom I have a very teen-like crush and the female heroine who I find adorable I ended up loving it. I liked the second a little less, but I knew what I was buying and was not disappointed overall. :D

Your teaching experiences sound terrific! While I never taught in school, I used to teach German to young adults when I lived in Malaysia. It was a wonderful experience, so I can only imagine how endearing it must be for you with a real class of students. In rural Japan, on top of it. :)
I wonder how you'll find the Korean schooling system. If dramas are anything to go by - and I truly hope not - than their system seems quite... medieval. I hope you'll care to come here and share your adventures, now and then. ;)

The last one I've watched which I am ready to recommend is Osozaki no Himawari, with Ikuta Toma. One of those dramas with no life-altering plot and very simple, daily characters, but truly heartwarming, with splendid views of rural Japan, lovely photography, well acted and sweet. It was the kind of show I needed, without melodramatic twists and turns but a slow, endearing build-up.
    I don't know why, but I'm sure you'd like it too. :D

You'll be living in Korea? Wow. Is it a job-related move?

    Omni dearest,
it seems we have had a very similar drama void, lately. Like you, I too tried a few times to watch something but either because I was in the wrong mood or simply because I landed on the wrong shows, I dropped most or watched with gritted teeth all the while anticipating the pleasure of writing a negative review.
It was truly great not to be obsessed by the fictional world for a while, but I can't deny I missed the thrill of a good dramathon. ;)
I came out of the tunnel a few weeks ago, and, not surprisingly, thanks to Japan. Perhaps I told you so already, but Japanese dramas have the ability to restore my good mood. And so it happens that I am in an all Japan mode right now.

I'm just passing by to say that I really miss your reviews. I went re-reading my favourite ones just for the pleasure. ;)
    I hope everything's well with you. :D

haha, i must watch the second season of Vampire Prosecutor too. tbh, Special Affairs Team TEN has a similar feel. after TEN tho, nothing seems like a good crime drama to me anymore, haha. so I especially recommend it to you.

something about the culture? i wonder what ;p ahh the raining. yeah, England just has that something. i might live there in the near future if i find a good job so yay! i hope we can meet someday in real life hehe.

oh and if you like Seunggi maybe you should go for Gu Family Book but honestly i don't know is it that good ;d

OMG OMG OMG hiiiiii!!! lol, im sorry for acting like that but seriously i am sitting here and fangirling or something hahaha. i just missed talking with you, that's all, OTL.

but WOW how great is that :) how is Prague? i bet it's wonderful :) but wait that means you are close to where i am living :0 like srsly. shall i just go and visit you there? hehe.

welp, i'm not watching a lot of airing dramas rn. but im totally into Special Affairs Team TEN 2. since i watched the first season and it ended with such a cliffhanger so i needed to start the second season. but for me it's the best crime/mystery/detective/psychological drama ever. can't get enought of it. so if you like this genre, i'm especially recommending to start the 1st season and continue with the one that's airing.

i have bad and good days, actually haha. and how are you? :D :D

About KT's crying, idk if it's just me but his facial expression when he cried just made me laugh. I'm not like a heartless person or anything but seriously, the way he cries is just...pfft. Anywho, I'm glad you liked it!

See? It's not so bad, is it? A drama over 16 eps long, that is. You managed a 28-episoder. Now, how about trying a 58 one? *cough* Unexpected You *cough* ;)

Lol, same here. The first time I watched it, I was more focused on the pretty imagery than the song. Then I went on to discover some older music of CZQ, and I'm so glad I did:

I didn't think CZQ made music like this. It was a pleasant surprise - both with the song, and Horan, if you know what I mean. ;)

And thanks to CZQ, I now have another Korean movie to add to my watch list:

Idk about the song, but the movie looks darn funny! Have you seen it by any chance?

Anywho, I'm so glad you're enjoying Gaksital!'s been about a month since we last talked so you've probably finished it by now. How was it? Don't you think the ending scene was just epic? :D
