That's the best way to describe this sitcom. I have to say though, after reading the synopsis and hearing there would be constant flashbacks in this story my expectations weren't too high but after completing it, I can finally say that it genuinely blew me away.
Let me start by saying the flashbacks were never annoying and I realized after a couple of episodes that I thoroughly enjoyed them and they were essentially the entire backbone of the story. There was just SO MUCH going on in this sitcom. It truly has every little good bit of every good drama I've seen. It's fun. It's witty....and a bit insane (lol). But don't let those crazy/slapstick comedy moments fool you. There is so read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

Firstly, I did NOT expect for this movie to impact me this way. From the beginning I was thoroughly creeped out by the stalkerish antics of the male lead, but as the story progressed I slowly came to realize he had his issues and reasons behind the unusual choices he made. I found myself so intrigued by the actions and thought processes of this assassin that it was enough of a pull for me to continue on with the story. I'm still a bit startled at the fact that I can connect with the feelings of an odd assassin but eh, at least I'm not afraid to admit it. :P The female lead was as equally strange but understandably so. I know I'm going to be met with a lot of haters, but eh...I felt I had to warn others that might be mislead by its popularity like I was. I shall try to point out the faults without giving anything away, although it may be difficult.
First things first. The premise itself seemed good enough from the get go, but I felt that it just went around in circles several times throughout the entire story. It was oh-so predictable in so many situations that I just had to laugh at myself for bearing read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

LSG and SMA's chemistry was just amazing and I enjoyed every wacky, romantic, crazy minute between those two. Even though this was a fantasy drama, I really felt the connection between them was real and genuine. I never once felt as if she was being too "clingy" or dependent. I mean, she's a gumiho who's fallen in love, for goodness sake. She isn't human so it read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

I was very impressed with the acting in this drama, although I wasn't much of a fan of Park Si Yeon's performance. Even so, Lee Dong Wook, Lee Jun Ki and Lee Dae Ha played their roles brillantly, with not a single bit of disapointment. Especially Lee Dae Ha's character....she was just the funniest, spunkiest and the most mischievous female lead and I enjoyed every minute of her craziness! I love how she gets that grin on her face when she's up to no good. Totally adorable. >.< LDW and LJK were great eye-candy and YES they can act! :P read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

Some people are saying "oh it's bad acting." Really? Is it bad acting to be less serious and more silly? I don't think so.
For a rom-com, I thought the acting was pretty well executed and I totally loved Jiro in this and can't really think of another actor that would replace him. I know Rainie Yang has a lot of read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

First problem, and I think many who have watched it will agree, that Wild Romance seemed to have lacked a little in the romance department let alone anything "wild". I WISH WISH WISH, there was more romance between the main characters, because I absolutely adored them! Lee Dong Wook and Li Si Young did an AWESOME job in their roles and I have become a fan of both of them because of this drama! :D This is actually rare for me to say but...I WANTED MORE LOVEY DOVEY SCENES BETWEEN THEM! Haha. But I did enjoy the few cute read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -

First things first. The music: Absolutely amazing. I love the way they make the music the epicenter of everything in this drama. Sure, it has a cast of wacky characters, but when it comes to the music, everything else just goes to the background. You forget the silliness and instead get lost in the musical atmosphere.
Secondly, character-wise I think Nodame is by far the cutest most silly and lovable female leads of all time. Chiaki, is just an absolute stud in this and read more report I found this review Helpful Not Helpful -
