As revenge/melodramas go, Goodbye Mr. Black was ok. I gave this a higher score because of the unusual birth secret twist and because people got what they deserved. I did get irritated with the ending though. I wish I could post spoilers because I have some things to say about this drama. Anyway, the plot is pretty good, but the story seemed to go around in circles at times. There were too many needless characters. I did like how there was focus on the main characters love story as convoluted as it may have been. I think the acting is what makes this drama worth watching. I would have given up on this drama at the start if it weren't for the good actors. I didn't feel much chemistry, but they made it work. I'm a huge Kim Kang Woo fan and it was fun to watch him play the "bad guy". The music was good. I will never rewatch this. If you like revenge dramas, then this one is not a bad watch.
