Jang Geun Seok does a great job portraying a teen dad. In America we see a lot of movies about teen moms...there is even a reality tv show about teen moms. We never see anything about teen dads. Actually I take that back, there is one made for tv movie about a teen dad that was really good, but not as good as this one.
The struggle he has to take care of his child is really well done and there are some great funny parts.
Kim Byeol steels the show with her quirky smart character. I really loved that she made #1 in class over that jerk of a kid in her class.
It is a really good story that ends well. I recomend everyone watch it.

As I finished the last episode, I rolled my eyes. Are they kidding me? The main plot is about politics and a law suit. OK. I can buy into that premise. I have seen worse story lines. The beginning seemed so promising. I was drawn into the story and characters. Somewhere in the middle the writer lost me. I have seen a number of unbelievable dramas that still kept me wondering what was going to happen next. Doctor Stranger became obviously predictable and unbelievable. <<<SPOILERISH How many people can get shot (some multiple times) and not die? SPOILERISH>>> There is also very little character development. I HATED THE ENDING.

Jin Se Yeon has got to be one of the worst actresses ever. I could have cared less about what happened to her character, Song Jae Hee. She was a detriment to the entire drama.

Lee Jong Suk did a good job as Park Hoon. He was the only one with character development. I'm not sure if that is due to the writing or if he is just that good of an actor. Park Hae Jin as Han Jae Joon and Kang So Ra as Oh Soo Hyun also did a good job with what little they were given to work with. The other actors were fine.

The music was ok.

I won't ever rewatch this.

I don't recommend this unless you just watch it for the actors and not the story.

This drama is angsty (yes, I made that word up) romance. There are really no light hearted happy moments in this drama from beginning to end. I admit I watched the whole thing solely because of So Ji Sub and Ha Ji Won. There really was no reason to drag this out for 20 episodes. Geez…if only my psychosis would let me skip episodes!!!
The story is pretty typical. It is a little twisty at the end and is the only truly interesting part of this drama. It is a love square, triangle…something. Rich boy vs. poor boy and rich girl vs. poor girl. All of the families are totally atrocious.
So Ji Sub is beautiful and can act. In Wook had the Jung family figured out from the beginning. He is smart and handles them with style.
I didn’t particularly like Ha Ji Won’s character. I don’t like her playing a weepy character, but she is still as beautiful as ever and acted well considering what she was given. I will say that I find it acceptable that she could love both men.
I had never seen Jo In Sung in anything, but I thought he did an outstanding job. Jae Min is actually the only one that I came even close to liking, mostly because he tried the hardest. He is the cutest when he laughs at the absurdity of the situation. I don’t condone his actions, but part of me is totally understanding of his madness.
Park Ye Jin as Young Joo was good too. She just wanted her cake and eat it to…like the men in this drama. Can’t really fault her for that.
At one point at the end of episode 19, I laughed so hard over their craziness that I had to pause the show. Then toward the end of episode 20 I fell out laughing for a totally different reason. The ending is stellar!!!
The music was on my last nerve by the end of this drama.
I’m not watching this again.
Overall...I'm not sure I would recommend this for any other reason than the acting is really good.

Entertainer is an excellent drama with flaws. I think the story line was well developed but the pace was too drawn out. Also, it could have ended at episode 16 and I probably would have given it an emotional score of 10s across the board. However, they gave me episodes 17 and 18 to cool off and score it realistically. I guess that age gap really tampered down all the romance, but it didn't take away from the drama. The story was more about bromance and making up for mistakes made. Although there is a lot of emotional crying by pretty much the entire cast at some point, it isn't overdone. If I was in some of these situations, then I would be inconsolable. The ending was okay too.

Ji Sung is my first love and I think he is one of the best actors in the business. He doesn't fail to deliver as Suk Ho who gives his all after making a horrible mistake to make things right. I fell in love with him all over again. Hyeri is fine as Geu Rin. I don't know if it was the character or her acting but I just didn't feel anything. She didn't really add anything to the drama. Can all of the members of CNBlue act or what? Kang Min Hyuk totally rocked his part as Ha Neul with an excellent mix of vulnerability and strength. The rest of the band member and cast did a great job also. Where the heck did Lee Tae Sun come from? I never would have thought this was his first drama.

The music is so awesome. I will say that it is weird that they used Nirvana for the inspiration because none of the bands music sounds like Nirvana. Maybe that is a good thing because Kurt Cobain is flawless and it is better to be totally different than to be compared. Even if you don't watch this drama, you should watch the ending of episode 16. It was totally moving.

I might rewatch the good parts for the music someday.

If you like bromance, some melodrama and good music, then this is the drama for you.

I found this to be beautifully sad. It is not the overwhelmingly fabulous movie that I thought it was going to be due to the reviews I read. Maybe my expectations were too high. I didn't cry because it actually made me rather hopeful. These two people had heartaches in their lives then found each other to love. Through everything they kept their love. It gave a heart wrenching depiction of what it must be like to have a loved one with a disease like Alzheimer's. However, it also showed the strength of the character's love as they faced it.

Jung Woo Sung and Son Ye Jin are excellent. I think they had excellent chemistry.

I think this is a good movie. It is one that I would recommend.

I usually don't watch Sageuk dramas, but this was really great. There is romance, comedy, mystery, fantasy, politics etc. I really wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm glad that I took the time to watch it.

The story is well written and flows smoothly from episode to episode. It is very imaginative. I think the subplots work well together to make up the whole story. Eun Oh's mother looking for revenge for her family seemed to set up a chain of events that brings him and Arang together. I like that they resolved issues quickly. There was only one flaw that I found in the story and it was a timing issue and that didn't mean anything to the story as a whole. I expected to see more of the main characters together in the last episode, but at least it ended nicely.

I totally adore Lee Jun Ki and he does not disappoint playing Eun Oh. His acting abilities are as strong as ever. If you haven't seen Iljimae, then you should watch that drama too. Shin Min Ah is one of my favorite actresses. Her portrayal of Arang's character as strong yet vulnerable is really well done. Yoo Woo Jin plays Joo Wal who is a disturbed young man. I felt extremely sorry for his character even though he had obviously committed some heinous acts of violence.
The Jade Emperor played by Yoo Seung Ho and the Grim Reaper/Moo Young played by Han Jung Soo were also well done and eye candy too. The little secondary couple were too funny and adorable. I usually don't like all the secondary characters and story lines, but it wasn't too bad in this drama.

The music was really pretty and went well with the drama.

I might rewatch this someday.

I recommend this as a must see for everyone, because I think it has a little bit of all genres.

Finally! The King's Face is one of the most boring dramas I have ever watched. I must say that it rivals Fashion King in pointless endings. The entire drama is just so pointless. I started to hope Kim Do Chi would defeat them all.

The cast is mostly good. I started this because of Shin Sung Rok. My mistake. Even he couldn't save this drama.

Music would get on my nerves at times.

I will never watch this again.

I do not recommend this drama even to seaguk lovers.

The best part of this drama is that it has more mature content and the fact that women can probably identify with one or all of the female characters. I know I didn’t give it a high rating, but it isn’t that I didn’t like this drama. I thought that the acting was really good. I can’t really explain it, but somewhere around episode 7 or 8, I began to really get frustrated.

Honestly, I don’t understand the relationship between Seok Hyun and Yeol Mae. I have never been in a relationship where I fought like that. I’m not of the disposition to ever endure something like that. If I was miserable in a relationship, then I just wouldn’t be in that relationship. Also, I have a problem with relationships where people hide things and aren’t truthful. I absolutely believe that you can love someone and not be with them. I appreciated all the middle episodes where Yeol Mae was with Ji Hoon in a healthy relationship a lot more. Ji Hoon treated her with kindness and respect and was honest with her. It is possible to love two people at the same time. I just don’t relate to women like her at all. I like the friends and their stories though. At least they learned something from their strange albeit unhealthy relationships and moved on. I probably identify more with Jae Kyeong out of the women. I won’t give away the ending, but to me it was unsatisfactory. The last episode was pretty much filled with flash back filler and a time jump. It just made me roll my eyes.

On the other hand, the acting was really good. I have always liked Kim Ji Suk and I think he did an excellent job playing Ji Hoon. He has a great smile and an ease of acting that totally drew me in. He is very believable. I have never seen Lee Jin Wook in anything before. I didn’t like his character, but I guess that is a tribute to his acting. He is easy on the eyes though. Jung Yu Mi also did wonderful portraying a confused, frustrated, but in love woman on one hand and a then a totally happy, satisfied in love woman on the other. All of the other actors were good also.

The music is off the hook. “I Could Give You Love” by Lasse Lindh is a great song and I definitely think that it should be added to everyone’s song list.

I recommend watching this drama to see for yourself. You may enjoy it. There are a lot of enjoyable moments. I personally just couldn’t get over the fact that Yeol Mae was in a long term, on again/off again relationship with a jerk. Oh and I have never seen the first I Need Romance...so I can't compare.

I Love Lee Tae Ri is part of the recent trend of dramas about time-travel/people/body switch. The story is ok. It is pretty typical and there aren’t any unexpected moments. I thought for sure there would be something special at the end, but there isn’t.

Park Ye Jin plays Lee Tae Ri and she does an ok job. I just didn’t connect with her. I’m not sure if it was her acting or her character, but there is just something missing. Kim Kibum who plays Eun Dong/ Min Soo caught my attention from the beginning(I gave the acting a higher score because of him). I really enjoyed his acting as well as his character. It would be tuff to go from 14 to 25 in a day, but even with his immature behavior he survives it well. The extras also did a fine job and Jang Seo Won who plays Min Gook was excellent!!!

This drama began great, and there were a few episodes toward the end that were enjoyable. It just lacked something and I really think it was the chemistry between the leads. I don’t think it was the age difference. I have seen dramas with age difference where I thought that the couple was perfect for each other. In this drama I really didn’t care if they were together or not.

Anyway, it isn’t a horrible drama. The music is ok. The acting is ok. The story is ok.
I can’t really recommend it, but try it. You might like it!!!

About Time has an interesting premise to the story. There are things that I really liked about it. I like that we actually get to see the play they are working on through out the movie. Much better than Just Between Lovers where you never get to see the memorial they work on during the entire drama. So, that was a relief. Also, the ending was excellent. Choi Micha's best friends were awesome. I feel the writer could have added more sweet moments between the families and friends than fill time with the stupidity of the ridiculous fiancé. She was so annoying and to some degree took away from the story rather than adding anything. There are holes in the story, but the character development was good. I like that the writer is basically saying that we never know how much time we have so we should live life to the fullest.

Lee Sung Kyung is cute as Choi Michaela. Does anyone know if that is really her voice? I like her drive and desperation at first to live and then to save. It makes perfect since that she would be terrified at the end. I like Lee Sang Yoon as Lee Do Ha. I think he has great charisma with Lee Sung Kyung with out it being over bearing. He gives her what she needs because he loves her. It isn't a stingy love. The other actors are good also, but I could not have cared less about their characters.

The music is good, but geez. At some point I was tired of listening to it.

I won't rewatch this.

I recommend this drama as an easy watch with an ending that won't disappoint. Just be prepared for some unreasonable fiancé angst.

I watched this movie, because I read an interview of Yoo Seung Ho where he says that he doesn't think he was that good of an actor when he was younger (LOL Younger, when he is only 20 now). Anyway, I decided to go back a few years and check out his acting for myself.

I thought that Yoo Seung Ho and Kang So Ra were really good. I have a soft spot for Kang So Ra anyway and I was pleasantly surprised to find her in this movie. The story is fairly simple and suspenseful. I love Kang So Ra's character Da Jeong. I like when the female lead is smart.

I think that most people would enjoy this movie.

I will preface this review with a statement. I don't like medical dramas. I watched this only because of the actors. This drama is boring. Plus, I think the writers changed and you could tell. The writer failed the possibilities.

I like most of the actors in this drama. Joo Ji Hoon as Chief Han was excellent. I was with him emotionally from beginning to end. Jung Ryeon Won is also great as the feminine, but strong Dr. Seo. Her character could have been better developed, but she had great chemistry with Ji Hoon. The kiss was HOT!!! It would have been good if that relationship had been better developed also. Kwon Sang Woo was totally adorable as the sensitive and principled Dr. Park. Oh Yeon Seo was too cute as Dr. Choi. I really enjoyed her character. Kim Young Ae is an excellent veteran actress. I wish I could post spoilers, because I had a great story line for her character and Dr. Park.

The music is nothing special.

I won't rewatch this.

If you like medical dramas, then you would probably like this more than me. I don't necessarily recommend it, but it isn't horrible.

Better Man is a great drama. I love every cliche`, cheesy, melodramatic moment of it. I binge watched it to the exclusion of other dramas. I will tell you that I am not even sure why I liked it so much. I am probably totally over rating it. Every once in a while though I will find a drama for which I connect. This is that kind of drama. The story isn't anything new. It is each character living their slice of life that I found engrossing.
The endings for the couples were well done.

My favorite couple is Huang Tender as Yang Zhen Hao and Lin Shara as Wu Yi An. It seems like they made each other better. He helped her be strong and brave and she helped him understand his feelings. They are interesting actors that made me feel a deep connection to their characters.

The other couples could be annoying at times although I totally understand their thought process. It isn't like the character would get to see everything I did. LOL I still found myself yelling "tell him the truth" or "he really loves you, silly" at the screen.

The music is good.

I might rewatch this someday!

I seriously enjoyed all the characters and it was a fun watch. I recommend it to everyone.

Maybe it is because Page Turner is so short or I'm too old, but I felt nothing. The music is wonderful. I play the piano and I have been in competitions and recitals in my youth. It was fun to watch them play. Beyond that, the story and acting seemed forced and inauthentic.

The actors are some of my favorites though.

The music was the best part about the mini-drama.

I will never rewatch this.

This is a story of star crossed lovers...very Romeo and Juliet. I'm probably one of the few people that loved the artsy way this was directed. I love the cinematography as well as the setting. Again I wish I could post spoilers, because I have a lot to say and no one to say it to. I really think I should start a blog...if only to get my thoughts out of my head. Anyway, there isn't so much politics in this historical drama to make it boring. There is plenty of sword play and action. I don't get why this drama gets such low ratings.

I am a huge fan of Uhm Tae Woong. He played a great character that suffers the most, but stays true to himself. The way he portrays the emotions of the character feels real to me...like he immersed himself. Kim Ok Bin as the Princess was okay. I didn't feel as deeply for her character as I should. I'm not sure if it is the acting or the writing...maybe a little of both. No Min Woo plays the crazy Yeon Nam Saeng with panache. He may enter the drama late (episode 11), but he steals every scene he is in. The rest of the actors are good too.

I enjoyed the music.

I won't rewatch this.

If you like historical sad love stories, then you should watch this.
