They said it's bad...

Most people said the Attack on Titan Part 1 and 2 are bad, like really bad. See the ratings? it's less at 5.

It took me Haruma's death to watch this franchise because almost everybody said it is bad, but it isn't. I'm sorry I was not able to support Haruma at that time because I listened to all the AOT Fans who were super disappointed.

Actually, I genuinely enjoyed it. It was exciting!
I like the CG. I like the acting, I thought the casts did a good job!

In all honesty, I thought Attack on Titan was good!
This is probably because I don't have any clue about the manga or anime.
I guess, sometimes it's nice to look at things from a perspective of an outsider.

Addicting!

While writing this review, I am rewatching Mr. Brain for the 5th time. I watch it every year. That's how much I enjoy it.

Even though I've already seen it lots of times I still get the same excitement watching it. I still find Tsukumo's smirk and quirkiness attractive. I still love the banter between the two detectives. Every time I watch it I feel like I will see something new that I may have missed the last few time I've seen it? Lol.

The guest stars were superb too! Gact, Kamenashi, Takeru Satoh and Yukie Nakama among others.

You will not regret watching this. The theme song Jump was super catchy, it'll stick with you!

If there's something this drama has, it would be sequels@ or movies or SPs.

I don't know why this is only rated 7.8 but I LOVED this 'SP', as it was tagged. I gave it 9/10.
I loved the documentary feel it has, I think it was a great decision. No dramas, no frills.

I love the scenery, it is very picturesque.
I loved that they used "real people" of Kyoto instead of actors to interact with Fumino's character.
My want, rather need, to go to Kyoto just went higher!

Please do watch it!

I'm so happy that the focus of the series itself was just not with Obana's character but mostly on Rinko's and the rest of the crew at Grand Maison Tokyo. We're able to see each characters growth and I love that! Even Linda's character, I ended up loving!

The OST was a plus, it was very catchy.

I really hope it is longer! I'm gonna miss the all the staff at Grand Maison Tokyo!

Honestly, I decided to watch this just because of Takeuchi Ryoma as I was trying to watch all of his works. And it was surpirsingly a good watch, bias aside.

I loved the flow of the story and how it was told. I also liked the twist, though it might be a little predictable.

The actors were great! I was entertained. I really like the chemistry of each characters.

Please watch it, I think this is the best Kamen Rider Drive movie among a few that I've seen so far.

Let's Henshin! Lol.

I honestly only wanted to watch this because it stars Kimura Takuya, as I want to be able to say that that I watched all of his movies and series.

Then I started watching it, I got hooked, not only because it has Kimura as one of its casts, but because of the story as a whole and the dogs. Yes, the dogs.

I can't say more without spoiling the series more. Just know that I loved it with all my heart and that I would really recommend that you watch it.

Acting was superb, dogs were great, the cinematography was great as well. Everything was great.

The first episode itself is something that made me wonder and want to continue watching. Let me rephrase that, the first 3 minutes got me hooked.

This is a feel good JDorama about life, friendship, and family. It's an easy watch with a bit of everything.
All the cast did well, Takuya Kimura, did not fail me as always.

Here you'd be able to say that "Money is not always everything."

It was very refreshing. A bit of comedy, drama and action rolled into one.
It doesn’t drag or get boring.
The concept, the characters, most especially the timeline (timeloop -whatever you want to call it) — it’s most definitely not the first time that the topic / concept has been used but it was delivered differently.
I loved the action scenes too.

KimuTaku’s acting was superb. From being Reiji, he totally morphs into this new character as Lloyd. From a dork to a ruthless yet kindhearted killing machine.

Some may find the story boring and common, but as the writer I know once said “Stories are mostly the same, same story line and same plot, what makes it good and/or stand out is how it was executed.” And I believe “A Life” was executed well.

Each episodes shows how Okita Sensei is able to help somebody grow individually as a human being or as a doctor or Nurse, may it be intentionally or not. I love how they humanize the characters in a way that people watching can relate to each one of them in a personal level.

I would also like to point out that even though Masao’s and Kazu’ friendship may be imperfect, but it is relate-able, as it really happens in real life. Some really has those kinds of “friends” who say they mean well but has hidden agenda.

If there’s one this I DO NOT LIKE in this series it’s the bodies they are operate, it obviously looks like a dummy, those use for testing theories and such. They could’ve a made it look more real.

How can a series be so Painfully Beautiful? That's how I describe this series.
Takuya Kimura really did a good job in portraying a hairdresser.
(Trivia: He actually studied Hairdressing for this drama and is a licensed hairdresser)

Yes, I have a love-hate relationship with the Female protagonist for the fact that she's so pessimist, it's to a fault. Yes, I understand she's a person with disability, due to her illness, but she seemed to think that everyone is doing something good for her because of that. Isn't that a bit too much? Can't anybody be just nice, sweet or even fall in love with you, because you are you and not because you have a life threatening illness?

Be ready to weep in the last two episodes. I actually did not expect that cause it was feel good the first few episodes. It was really painfully beautiful. It broke my heart, really.

Good points:
Every twist and turn of this story will leave you wanting to dig in deeper. It’s not your usual JDrama with sweet love and tears. This one has a dark side. Kimura, yet again, played his role excellently. As I’ve said in the past, when he plays a role you’ll forget that he played a different character in the past. This series will keep you guessing until the end.

Bad points:
While I love Takuya Kimura to bits, this series has all the feels in all the wrong places. I don’t know why. Everything got a little better though from episode 7 on wards. Maybe it was the Miwa character. I just find Miwa’s character a bit, ugh, dragging. I don’t know why she’s like that but it made it hard for me to watch this series because of her character, mainly, among other reasons. Thank goodness it was Kimura, if not, I wouldn’t have finished this series. Kimura’s character is mysterious enough to let you want to finish watching the series to know where he is coming from and what really happened.

Tori Girl is NOT a love story. If you are looking for one then turn your back towards Tori Girl, you’ll be disappointed if you’re looking for romance.

Tori Girl is a very fun movie to watch.

At first I thought it was a little boring but after the first 15 to 20 minutes, the story starts to build and it gets very funny.

Tao, Shotaro and Mahiro did a very good job with their role. I also am happy to see Elaiza Ikeda in this movie.

The movie is interesting especially the aircraft part of it.

I wanted to watch something with Erika Toda and this is what I saw.

I thought it’s just something silly, light and I would just laugh through it. Well I did laugh here and there. But, God, I never though I’d be crying for this movie. I though wrong, so wrong.

I liked the part of the stubborn daughter and gangster father, but my favorite was the story of the old couple. Dang, I cannot stop crying when I knew their story. I was so touched!

The story revolves around a couple living in Kamakura. A place where “supernatural” is normal, like dead people walking around, or having kappa’s walk around the area, or even having the God of Misery drop from your ceiling. LOL.

The story is unique itself and that is enough to get you to watch it. The story has a mixture comedy, fantasy, romance and mystery to it. It also talks a little about the concept of "destiny" and “forever” in a very subtle and relate-able manner.

I over all liked it.

8/10

This movie was screened in the ‘Un Certain Regard’ section at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival with Mugen no Junin (Out of Competition).

Just like where it was screen in Cannes, I too am a very UNCERTAIN with my feelings toward this movie. (PUN intended. LOL.)I don’t know if I like it, hate it or if it’s just OK.

There are some parts of it that I find amusing and nice, some that I do not like at all. I wonder if it was because of the characters, the plot or how the story unfolded or maybe how it was told?
