Grew up watching Asian movies but new to  Asian dramas!
Started in 2016 with the Kdramas "Shine or Go Crazy" and "W" on Viki and Dramafever (rip).
I'll watch dramas/movies from all over the world, as long as the genre and the story are to my liking.

RATINGS

I'm an emotionally high rater since I rate things as soon as I finish them.
I hardly rate anything below a 5.0 because if I hate it that much I would have dropped it already.
Anything I rate 8 and up, I would recommend.

Things I take into account when rating:

  • Story (engaging story & characters with minimal plot holes)
  • Acting (believable and expressive, not awkward/cringey/dull) 
  • Other technical stuff if it stands out, either in a good way or bad (cinematography, music, editing, etc.)
  • The overall enjoyment I had when watching ✰  
    (tbh this is my #1 criteria. The drama could have been amazing in all other aspect but if I found it boring then I'm going to rate it lower)

                 10 - Perfect!
       9.0-9.5 - Loved it/almost perfect
       8.0-8.5 - Really good!
       7.0-7.5 - Average/Overall OK
       6.0-6.5 - Did not like/Mostly bad
       5.0-5.5 - Hated it/Waste of time
