At first I thought this was going to be really boring from the first few minutes because of the first few scenes with Pierre Deporte\'\'\'\'s (who played the westerner William) terrible acting, but it turns out I really really liked this drama! The cast was great! And their acting, especially Im Joo Hwan (the actor who played Park Gyu) was amazing. I really felt that he had great chemistry with Seo Woo (Beo Jin) and the emotional scenes that he acted were absolutely believable. The only terrible actor was the Pierre Deporte (William, the westerner). I feel like they only chose him because he was the only white guy they could find... His english also sucks even though he\'\'\'\'s supposed to be from England (Pierre Deporte is originally French so I understand why his English sounded weird to me). He was the only reason why I didn\'\'\'\'t give the acting a 10.

The Tamna scenes where they were diving for abalones were beautiful, and overall the scenes were beautiful! Music is also very good, and they chose the right music to set the mood of the different scenes.

I may be a little biased in rating this drama though, because I was extremely happy with who ended up with Beo Jin XD. It is worth the watch, although you have to put up with a lot of crying from Beo Jin. However, that didn\'\'t ruin the drama at all for me! Right after finishing this drama I felt like watching it aaaall over again. It surpassed my expectations by a LOT!

Even though I gave Iljimae really good ratings, I was still a little disappointed. The plot was amazing, so was the acting, especially the music, and I would absolutely watch it again! So why was I a little disappointed? Well, this is an immensely popular drama and the statistics showed it had great ratings so I was really pumped to watch it. Maybe it was because I had extremely high expectations that Iljimae fell a little below my expectations.

The main thing that kept running through my head as I watched it was the believability. I felt like in a lot of the fighting scenes and the sneaking into palaces scenes had a lot of holes in them, but all of the plans just miraculously succeeded. I couldn't get it out of my head and it ruined a lot of the drama for me :( I wish I didn't think about it so much... I would have completely enjoyed the drama so much more!

BUT the fighting scenes were still amazing, and the story sooooo good and the cast was brilliant. Watch it!!

This was an enjoyable series! The acting was great, I was really reeled in. The actors didn\'\'t leave me a choice but for me to love them and their characters, and yes even the antagonists. :D For me one of the most important things in a drama, if not the most important, is the acting. Also, all of the characters were believable, and none of them were pure evil just because there was someone who needed to stand against the protagonists. Many of the antagonists just went against the Jalgeum Quartet because they were motivated by their love for a woman or a family member, and I find that very believable and very human.

However, the ending kind of felt hurried and some characters who I\'\'d like to know more about (like Chosun and Ha In Soo) have been left in the dark. There should have been another episode so the last episode could be expanded to cover more characters :(

Anyway, good job Sungkyunkwan Scandal!! :D
