Cutie Pie is basically the Thai bl version of My Little Bride w/ some side stories. I wouldn't be surprised if My Little Bride was an inspiration since My Little Bride was super popular during its time.
Basically, Grandparents promised kids promised their firstborns to each other at birth. However, they were both boys. Korea wasn't down w/ that back that. So it went down to the grandkids.
So Grandparents say the kids have to get married - at birth & there is a huge age gap. I think it's about 10 or 11 yrs.
In My Little Bride, they do get married & so their love is built through proximity & understanding. Same as in Cutie Pie.

In both, the boys are in college who's NEVER been in a relationship who's afraid of being or becoming gay after dreaming about it in the future. In addition, they start seeing gay couples all around them.

Simply put. The girl has a single-minded pursuit for a man she's fallen in love with at the first sight. The girls find ways to ensnare themselves into the lives of the guy, compliment their career to his. Their families get involved --- ie "GRANDPA".
There aren't really other players intervening into the relationship to cause problems.

Rather than programming & gaming. We're looking at architecture & manga/art (world) which was specifically pointed out in ep. 2.

Based on character personalities:
1. Girl - bubbly & Cute/ Guy - "Appears" cold but reasonable, overprotective; ill-mannered at times.
2. Girl - falls in love at first sight/ Guy - shocked but isn't annoyed by her pursuit
3. Granpa is all in for his grandson to be in a relationship & approves of her.
4. Both girls have Nian as their first names. ^_^

Lots of similarities w/ a few tweaks here and there. I love them both.

Same concepts all around can't spoil b/c it would ruin the entire movie.
However, what makes it alike/different:
1. Male/Female lead fighting evil
2. Obvious titles give you the setting
3. State of the existence of the lead males are exact
All of the above works for Ghost Ship recommended.

All of the above works for Train of the Dead which I will Recommend.

I can't spoil the story b/c their the same excluding two separate things, one being glaringly obvious:
1. Ones on a ship, the other is on a boat
2. In Ghost Ship, the leads are dating. In Train of the Dead, they're not.

They both have a supernatural element and romance. The idea is the time looping. Where they repeat the day or time over and over again. Triage is based on a book, while Todome no Kiss is based on a manga.

They both show that time travel and love don't mix and hurt like hell.

This is only related to Korn & Knock's relationship b/c they have been settled and living together but now it's coming out to other people. It's dealing w/ outsiders entering their relationship and breaking it up. Dealing with an established couples hang ups.

The concept of unconditional/violent love that is very obsessive. The distinct Seme/Uke relationship that is clear and the forced submission of love by the "uke" character.

This is the predecessor to the series. This one details how outsiders can perceieve and disrupt undeclared relationships.
