Heart-warming!

As another great episode of Maou unfolds, I can feel this show has more and more hold over me. Ohno really did do a great job on this. Sending a tarot card to Shiori, leads to the story getting a unexpected twist to it as Shiori ends up confessing some of her greatest fears and thoughts to Ryo. A Heartwarming scene in which seems to have woken up some feelings for Ryo..

Due to the passing of his friend being kicked out as a police officer of the case so important to him being solved. He is allowed to continue only after Shiori ends up getting the tarrotcard in which he believes may mean she is the next target.

Incredible

And the perfect flow of events is kept throughout this episode as well. They have amazing chemistry these two. I really like this childish boss ^-^ He's cute in his own way. They're so funny together! I'm loving this more and more!!

There was just one disappointing thing in this episode to me - Those few seconds in which Wang Ji Hye appeared. I have no idea what kind of role she has here, but her face instantly got me thinking of her character from Personal Taste and all that hate came back the moment I saw her >_< Of all the dramas I've seen so far, that woman is the most detestable of all villains! If she has a negative role in here as well I don't think I'll be able to handle it. And even if she's a nice character here, her face will keep reminding me of that other role each time I see her. I HOPE it won't be the case. It would be a waste of an otherwise perfect drama.

"Be Happy."

"Be happy." -Shin Kyeong Mo (Sun Ae's younger brother)

That's so sweet that Kyeong Mo finally got to do what he probably wanted to do for his sister, help her be happy. I didn't want to mention it in my last review so I could keep it spoiler free. It's sweet that Sun Ae's brother helps bring Bong Seon and Seon Woo together. Not only is it such a real and heart felt scene when they make up, but I adore a good romantic swing moment that followed after word.

What I love more is Bong Seon and Seon Woo had a frank discussion about their romance and what was real. I loved that Seon Woo even joked that he was in a love triangle with a ghost! Ha-ha. It my be supernatural, but the conversation felt natural and real. The writer and the actors knocked it out of the park! I also enjoyed how Seon Woo handled talking to a ghost and treating her like a human. Though I really feel for Sun Ae, Seon Woo and her were in a relationship too.

Meow. *shivers* Well Seong Jae's evilness has come out! Holy cow, the hit and run. He hit and then drove over her, then ran. Oh. My. Drama. Just everything about this. Seong Jae has clearly been possessed from the get go and I really want to know when. Or if he ever was officially possessed. Seong Jae has truly become on epic villain. To fool everyone and be so kind and smiley. Oh, yeah. Meow.

Things are really building up as we finally get the truth behind Seong Jae, Sun Ae, and Eun Hee. Now all that's left is getting down to the nitty gritty. That cliffhanger! Ah! Be safe Sun Ae. Not to mention how this love triangle is going to wrap up.

In which Feng illustrates that he would rather be feared than loved

So the Flame Villa descends into evil--it's sort of like how a revolution happens--the aftermath is always cleaning house, and the ones watching it have this sick feeling in their stomach, like maybe this is a bad idea?

1)Flame lord invites Feng to sit down and asks him why he is so quiet. Feng's face is like icy anger as he asks him why his parents died, and the flame lord insists that they took their own lives. Feng clearly does not believe this and then asks him why he summoned soldiers, and the flame lord states it's because he wants to help him leave Anye Lyo. But Feng defends him, and states that this is his maternal uncle, which causes the flame lord to be super tirggered as he angrily reminds him that he took him in, raised him, taught him martial arts, how is it that Ge'er can believe him but not Feng? Feng dismisses her as naive, and so flame lord asks him what he must do to gain his trust, and so Feng'er states he has to give him a reason to trust him. Feng raises his weapon as if to behead him, and this makes Flame lord break down into laughter as he tells the memorial of his brother that his own son wants to kill him.

2)Housekeeper stabs him the back! Literally and figuratively! Flame lord calls him a rat and knocks him down. He dies in Feng's arms, who is shocked, and his last words are for him to leave the evil palace and to have no regrets. Housekeeper forces him to leave and then uses explosives to blow the place up.

3)Zhongli visits Ge'er, and she knows that this is bad, and she listens as he reports that her father is dead. After fainting, Ge'er leaves with him. She arrives to find the hall in mourning. She puts on the white clothes and all eyes are on her as she makes her bows. This is when Housekeeper Li says that villa bussiness should be addressed, and he suggests that Feng be appointed as hall master since she lacks experience. The only person who speaks up for her is, surprisingly, Ji. Feng'er is silent (COWARD). Wu Xia rises and says that he believes that Feng'er is a good choice because the sudden death of the flame lord robbed him of the chance to properly train Ge'er. With no one on her side, she has no choice--she decides to appoint Feng'er as Deputy Master and leaves. Ji calls Feng out for not respecting their master's wishes. Feng'er yells right back and accuses him of not being supportive. Ji said that he supported him when the master was alive to give him a fair chance, however, since he is dead, he is honor bound to respect his last wishes. Feng'er then says well what if his last wish was a mistake, do you honestly believe Ge'er is qualified? He wants to know what he will do to Ge'er, and Feng says he will give her a carefree life.

4)That night she visits the place her father dies, and Feng follows her. She has a fever, he tries to make her leave, but she refuses. She wants to know how explosives were planted in the room, it is supposed to be the safest place, how could no one have known? She returns to her room, and summons Zhongli who reports that her father had all the elite soldiers summoned back while sending Feng away. He also reports that her father died the same day as Feng's return.

5)At the next morning meeting, Zhongli is the only branch master not present. All the hall masters state that Zhongli never attends the meetings, and Feng says that he was spoiled in the past and this will change. He sends evil housekeeper li to bring him by. Zhongli states he is unwell and cannot attend--and in a flashback we see that Li and Zhongli entered the place together. He reminds Li to not harm the trust their master had in them, and this actually seems to make Li a smidge guiilty. He reports back that Zhongli will not attend, and so Feng decides to send a strong message. He initially plans to expel him for disobeying him but because the branch masters are defensive of him, strips him of his title and gives it to housekeeper Li (who is like a child in a candy store when he learns this) but it seems that Zhongli burned (I hope) the most important secret documents.

6)Die Yi goes to see Zhongli but seems to have packed his bags and left. Ji is apparently banned from attending hall meetings, which leads to a violent conflict with housekeeper li who seems hungry to do him some serious harm.

Oh, in this episode, I forgot to add, there is a monologue where Feng reflects on how he has what he wanted, the master is dead, he is charge of the villa, but he is not happy and Ge'er is utterly miserable....

---So Feng'er continues to reveal to the audience that he is a spineless coward.

All this about a jar...

And this was another amazing episode! I'm so glad she managed to make it again, and I like hos the story is evolving. Just about the end, things seem to be getting worse when we thought everything was okay... I wonder how it will turn out!

And I wonder when the older characters will appear ^^

Classiest Episode Entrance Into A Drama

Not going to lie that was one of the classiest first episodes I've seen in a while. It didn't miss a beat. It was serious, yet also charming, and very funny. I also like how its premise is different yet follows a basically well known cliche of first loves. Just done differently and well :D Heres to watching more. Also just saying I love that 3 way bromance :D The car scene was just LIFE.

this show brings out the fangirl in me

Beautiful second episode, I love the chemistry between the two protagonists, I'm curious to see how it will go on, I hope there will be more space for the secondary characters and more depth.I'm just happy to see little Venice love motorcycles like his uncle?

Tears and ugly sobs

What a complicated situation. One that attacks the emotions.

Do Yeon is probably at wit's end trying to pull herself together. Must they go into trial? Shouldn't they try to amicably settle the argument?

At the least, they could all meet discreetly and not involve the court. At the worst, Hwang Dal Joong could succumb to his terminal illness sooner and could never get to hear that apology.

Dal Joong already hints on Do Yeon's identity, by deductive reasoning. Just like his daughter's skill.

End of troubles?

I surely don’t think so because even if Doc agreed to give Pusan the distribution, things won’t stop there and seriously? Are we going back to point zero? Btw, I’ve got to say that director Jo is really interesting, he doesn’t look like an evil character at all but he’s evil itself.

Also, I don’t think Safari will hold still about what’s going to happen to him and it makes sense that he was an undercover agent then decided to join sides with Pusan. Director Min is to blame; he just keeps planting undercover agents everywhere as if it was nothing.

Man-made disaster - No time to ever catch a breath at Doldam.

Decrepit building in a redevelopment area. The many cracks in the building were insufficient to the scare the humans and businesses continue to operate - a tuition center, a dance studio, a tteokbokki store, a laundromat, etc.***SPOILERS AHEAD***--LIKE--1) Teacher Kim is once again in charge of Doldam Hospital and the Trauma Center because the Trauma Center Head (Cha Jin Man) believes he should prioritize the lawsuit to treating disaster patients. --MINOR LIKES--2) Dr Cha Eun Jae and Dr Seo Woo Jin skips lunch as they prioritize the emergency, and rushes to the scene - shows how they are truly Teacher Kim's students.3) [19:25] Nurse Park Eun Tak leading the walk out (as part of those dispatched as the First Response Team) with Jang Dong Hwa and Manager Jang Gi Tae behind him.4) Dr Yang Ho Joon is behaving like a doctor in Doldam Hospital. He can treat patients and is not a paper doctor after all.--NOT A FAN--(1) Irritating student who:a) ignores the fact that her parents are paying for her tuition fee and skips classes for the dance studio;b) slurs at the teacher trying to bring her and her friends to safety;c) insists on not leaving the dangerous collapsed underground floor (with the excuse that she would only leave with the teacher as she felt bad for slurring at him, despite the teacher coming to her rescue regardless of her rude behavior earlier in the day), delaying the rescue and risking the lives of the rescue staff even further.(2) Trauma Centre Head (Cha Jin Man):a) ignoring calls from the Trauma Center during work hours - one wonders if he would pick up his phone if his beloved daughter called or if someone rich and powerful called;b) [10:31] thinking that he needs to go to Court to explain what is needed to "look better for the Trauma Center" even when other high-ranking staff believes that it is putting an elephant into the fridge.c) [10:45] insisting that (in his own words) "the complaining party should put up with the shortage of medical staff due to the useless lawsuit". [Food for thought - does this imply that innocent patients should suffer the consequences due to a separate incident?]Note: >> Nothing that wrong with the Trauma Center Head's decision as it's his choice to make and determine priorities as a leader. While it's clear what most fans of Dr Romantic prefer, people may or may not agree with his choice.>> Just wondering if the Trauma Center could have mass SMSed every doctor (including the Center Head) of the emergency situation so that they can all do their part, instead of wasting precious doctors' and nurses' time calling people who will not pick up?(3) [09:10] Assemblywoman Ko using the lawsuit for personal/political reasons:a) To "not put a price on her son's life", but to question why "a large sum of money from the provincial budget must be used on a Trauma Center, when Doldam Hospital already exist";b) To "prove the illusion and worthlessness of the Trauma Center" through her son's death - in her words, this was the true objective of the lawsuit.Note: >> It is fine for her to try to prove her point using the way she thinks is most effective, especially since it is her job to make sure the provincial budget is used wisely. However, her words:i) makes it harder and harder to sympathize with her loss as a mother; and ii) makes one question her capabilities and intentions as a politician, and whether she is actually using whatever means, including her own son's life, to gain popularity (or facetime with the media/reporters) instead.

Yume metai

I knew that Shiki isn’t dead and ever since I saw his picture with Yuiko’s mother; I thought that he’s her father and tada! That’s it. But why did they end it at that scene? They could’ve added few minutes!

Overall, the ending was cool. I liked this drama especially its last episodes.

URGH

The chief secretary is seriously pissing me off. He kept claiming how loyal and how right he is to the royal family . Yet, he sabotaged the princess and the king like crazy. :/

The tarot card reading gave me major icky…

The tarot card reading gave me major icky vibes. I can see now how cultures are different. Where I come from, the tarot lady would not tell anyone to break up with their partner. They usually give vague answers not to influence the customer too much. They also try not to tell you the worst things but just hint at them. I just felt like this lady saw unfortunate cards and was like: "yup, just break up. Nothing to see here. Just poverty." - I hope the producers did not instruct the lady to be dramatic af but who knows. The lesbian couple was really calming. I liked the monk and his metaphors. Really well spoken as expected. And for our Bosung and Min Jun - I felt like that was a really raw experience of a family that has issues. It brought up some of my bad memories when I was struggling with acceptance in my family. So I think it was great and authentic (though impolite) that Min Jun did not eat because why should he put on a face? Just to be polite for the TV? When he clearly is uncomfortable he should show it. In-laws can be jerks.
