The story was pretty simple, so that's why I gave it a lower score. Even though the plot itself wasn't anything exceptional, the way it was portrayed by the cast and the scenes was very enjoyable. All the actors, including the many young ones, were able to show different emotions very well. There were parts in the movie where characters sang. Those were pretty important in pulling at the audiences emotion. This is what I considered in the music score for this movie rather than the usual background soundtrack stuff. My greatest complaint is that the ending leaves me wanting to know more. I would definitely watch this again sometime. The characters are all interesting and the imagery is enthralling. A lot of it is a sepia-toned sadness.

This is a good movie if you're looking for something that is slow and pulls at your heart. Save it for another day if you're looking for an original story or something more complicated or action packed.
