I went into this with low expectations and came out of it having gained more than I expected, particularly a large package of humor, a solid plot, and characters as vibrant and awesome as the story itself.

Over My Dead body does a good job of not straying from the plot, and adding to it a lot of aspects that one normally wouldn't find in a movie of its kind; and that's one of its strongest points. And it's nice that the actors don't carry the movie on their backs, instead, they travel with the movie, side-by-side, giving their all and the movie as a whole doing the same.

What I liked most about the movie was probably the characters, and the way that they all
interacted with one another. Particularly the main three "heroes" of our story. It's hilarious watching them try to tear each other apart, and it's awesome watching them work through plans and impromptu arrangements.

There's sense and a reason for their actions and the way that they think and how they go about things, and that stays the same throughout the movie, which I really liked. They're real people in an absurd situation, and this film does a great job of reminding you of that fact, and making regular people seem completely badass in the process.

If you've watched plenty of these types of movies before, you might have a rough idea of how this will end. But I'm telling you, the journey to the final destination and the final destination itself will surprise you some way or another and you will enjoy it, love it, cherish it and want to watch the damn thing all over again.

I can't say too much without spoiling the best bits of the movie for you (and there are tons sprinkled everywhere, so I'm basically walking on a thin line this entire review), but I can almost guarantee you'll have a good - if not great - time watching this.
