I had always meant to watch this, but due to work and other things, I always put it off. After a while, and a weekend with nothing to do, I found myself sitting at my computer bored. After looking through my dramalist for a movie to watch, this was at the top of my list. Without much of a thought, I instantly put it on. All I have to say is, I don't regret it.

The actors are amazing and are able to portray their characters well. Even the minor roles do their job extremely well and put loads of emotion and humor in their roles. Joo Jin Mo does a great job portraying Sang Jun, an agent whose first priority is his job rather than his love life. Kim Ah Joong plays the female lead who undergoes surgery to get the one she loves, but in the end, the surgery plays an even greater role in her life and makes her re-evaluate her goals. For their great acting, I gave them a ten. Casting did a magnificent job in choosing the actors and I can't imagine anyone better. Everyone on set had great chemistry.

The music was fantastic. You may recognize Blondie's "Maria", which was done extremely well, and boy, does Kim Ah Joong have lungs! She can sing! The rest of the music is great and may make you want to download onto you're mp3!

Rewatch value is definitely a ten. At first, I was going to put a nine, but the day after I watched this movie, I had to watch it again, just because it's that great. For a movie to do that, it deserves a ten.

Overall, the movie is a 10. Watch this movie, don't regret it, and love every bit of it. If you're looking for a movie with a good message, great music, great script, great directing, and great cinematography, I HIGHLY recommend checking this movie out! read more

My first review.. This movie is AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!!!! I loved it because everything was friggin wicked!! WATCH IT NOWWW!! Lee Min Ki was the perfect choice to cast as the main guy and same for the girl. The storyline was different to other movies i've seen and it was fuuuuuuuunnnnnny..Even though it was kinda scary at some points..But still i think every1 should go and watch this noooow!

'If you could freeze time and you weren't dying, what would you do?'

This was a very subtle, yet, in my opinion, a most important central piece for this movie.

The story of the movie isn't innovative in any way, it has a predictable central plot, but it brings some unique surprises while it reaches its ending.
I wouldn't have loved it so much if the story didn't twist so interestingly towards the last half an hour. I would have just thought that the movie was nice, but yet another typical, self-sacrificing love from one of the leads towards the other's happiness. And if it were so, then Sweet November would have been the more plausible story for me... but it turned out that the story was beyond that and it made me give this movie a special place in my heart.
Now, what really made this movie such a big hit for me were the actors... I mean, oh my God, the acting was among the best I've experienced, I was absolutely sucked in and I absolutely lived their pain, love and happiness alongside the two. Seldom do I fall in love with both male and female leads in a movie, so allow me to be excited :).
Time to go deeper into the movie!
I have to say that I really enjoyed how the story had, along the line of the plot, scattered interesting visual images that would fixate into my mind and give new meaning to the movie:

The numbers that would suddenly appear before his eyes every time he would waver as to giving up his love, to further enforce that time was running out for him were very interesting, especially when his career goes on the line for him excessively playing Cat Girl's song and his boss threatening his job, the shirt with 88 written on it suddenly popped before his eyes in order to assure him he was doing the right thing.

Also, when she returns from her date a little drunk and she sneaks in his bed, he feels really comfortable, but he gets up an leaves her after he sees 20x on the little pin-board next to his bed, reminding him of his days left.

Another nice image was that of him letting time pass again in the photo studio, when he decides to start on of the clocks, that is the moment when he knows time cannot stop and his love won't find fulfillment.

The cactus he chose as a gift for her is quite unique in its symbolism also: that species of gymnocalicium is a hybrid cactus, the colored top has no chlorophyll, so it needs to be put on top of another cactus, a green one, in order to get food and survive. That is, for me, the nature of their relationship, a symbioses, where one cannot survive without the other, neither can it let any ham come to the other, as the pain would be felt by them both.

Shall I answer the question from the beginning of my review? It's not a spoiler per say, but it will reveal, if you think hard about it, the ending of the movie, so I'd advise you to stop reading, if you don't want to get a glimpse of how the story id finished.
*** When time freezes, they could reveal the storm of feelings that boils in their hearts... Only when time freezes and everyone around them stops, will they be free to love one another, just like to birds flying towards the sky ***

I came across of this movie accidentally on TV. Since it's rare to watch Korean movies on TV i thought i would give it a try. i was watching it with my parent and thought they're not fond of Korean movies they said they really liked it.
Plot was interesting and acting was superb. My jaw dropped when i saw that sex scenes. Koreans always have problems with kissing scenes and man to man scenes done with such a high quality was really surprising.
Everything in this movie was unique. Story, acting, music, even fight scenes... everything was done well.
I really liked the movie and i would recommend it to those who aren't against of watching man to man scenes but love interesting and original movies. read more

I was waiting to watch this movie, but it was totally disappointing, the story just don't make sense, the cast was good, but the screenplay was just a mess. In the middle of the movie a was very bodred and I was about to drop it, but I kept watching hoping the movie would be different but it wasn't.Sadly it was just a waste of time.

The best Korean movie I've watched so far...I have seen it probably 5 times by now, and still not bored of it! Great story line, well picked up music (have some of the soundrtack songs saved on my pc), OUTSTANDING acting from all the acting crew. a movie which keeps me glued to the screen from the start to the end every single time I watch it.

a story about a woman who gets into lots of ridiculous situations just because she wants to prove an arogant playboy that she has what it takes to seduce a man. Watch and see how it goes with all her attempts ;)

Loved Ariel Lin and Berlin Chen in In Time With You, so I watched this movie specifically for them. It was a cute movie and an easy way to spend an hour and a half. My only complaint is that they didn't have near enough screen time together.

Just when you think it's over and they're showing NG clips, it cuts back to extra scenes, so keep watching until the credits start rolling.

It wasn't a bad movie and of course Kenichi was great and I saw several other actors that I recognized they also did well. The acting was well done. It might have been a better score but the site I finally found to watch the movie had the worst translation. It was more gibbirsh the decernable but I was able to get the jest of the movie which also was a little confusing. As the last review said, there was also a lot of flying about. Actually it was more like leaping and some of the ninjutsu reminded me a lot of the anime naruto and some of it was pretty good. I don't know if it was the way the movie was laid out or if it was because the translations were so bad but I really didn't have much in the way of feelings for any of the characters. Of course I was rooting for Kamui and he was way cute and the action was good so out side of the horrible subs it wasn't bad. read more

I'm going to admit it, the only reason I watched this movie was to see Kim Jeong Hoon. After watching him in Goong, I wanted to see him play a good guy. I have to say, this little breath of fresh air movie delivered! His acting wasn't amazing, but it was done really well. Alongside Ryu Hyun Kyung, the two created great chemistry. The plot added to the suspense and both actors delivered quite well. The story deserves a ten because the plot is original and it didn't end horribly, but on a good note. It left the viewer satisfied.

I gave the music a six not because it was horrible music, but because of it's quality. The music wasn't original, but was scores of well known classical pieces from Tchaikovsky, Bach, and other famous classical composers. The music was a bit...bland and it could have been better.

Finally, the rewatch value is a seven because it's one of those movies that doesn't need to be seen twice. It isn't exactly a classic, but it is a good movie and definitely something good to watch on a slow day. read more

I don't have a weak heart so this movie wasn't so or too scary at all. I saw other more better, but to not let myself drive away by thoughts I will remain stuck to this. I feel pretty impressive with the performance of actress Akiyama Rina in Yuki's role, as a gothic and lolita. Although I am disappointed with some aspects which I will list below.

Story : Doesn't have a bad idea. A normal family, more like a happy family, perhaps perfect in the eyes of Japanese Society. A father, that is a priest and a mother whose,apparently a demon. I find the idea a cliche, why ? Is easy. The idea is that something a good, a pure servant of God to marry a demon ?! And the fruit of their love to be a being half? And as I understood from the movie, the demon, Yuki's mother to chose a better path ? Ok, as I said, the idea is not bad, but, is still a cliche for me. I saw stories like a big, naught , bad-boy mafia leader fall for a naive,pure heart,kind and poor woman ? Oook ... Revenge like revenge, I am a person that wants revenge even for a bug, but ok.If he could, director Go Ohara would thrust on the whole idea with revenge. Maybe for others would be easy digested or . . . not. Well,mister writer Hisakatsu Kuroki,I might cheer for him when I am not so horrified. From the plan,that is at least realistic, is passed, more than three quarters of the movie to the fantasy side,sorry, horror-fantasy.Even if I listed so many bad ideas, the story itself is at least, unique. Offers to the watchers a unique way to express themself (not killing others) but to understand some concepts about life in Japan (more like the bad side) and life itself.
Acting/Cast : The characters are quite reliable. Family, which does not exceed a frame too impersonal, is normal and celebrate a happy day, Yuki's birthday.The bad guys, five at number,failed in a manner in art killings, crucify Yuki's mother ? Each of the 'bad guys' have some special powers (or abilities ?) Well, I felt angry or pissed about Gerao Yuro (Psychic Teacher), I was like : O_o WTF man !? Almost all the battle only flew across the gym and,like from magic, Yuki finds a way to kill him !? Okkk, this fight/flying scene annoyed me very much. I can say, i would give them a 9 because were great, specially Yuki with all her 'seek revenge'.
Music: Maintained the atmosphere properly, and even at the flashback to the birthday,supposedly forgotten, the music (or the one with it) did a great job.
Rewatch Value : I thought about it and well, I better watch the bees. Second time doesn't exist me for this movie. Like how it is said : Once in a life time.
Overall: Because the rewatch value was low, all the movie was drag down, very down. I would give it a 7, with a big indulgence from me. I truly love Japanese Movies, but this : no words. I can say, guys, watch it even when the night comes, if your not weak at heart. read more
