A wonderful movie. I loved it.
Why?

The story:
A man is in love, but his love leaves him with a sticky note... He is lost afterwards and ends up in a certain street where he gets work in a copy shop. He gets to meet various people there. One of them is the girl drawing sheep comics on the exam papers of the cram school she is working for...
One day, he decides to draw an answer on one of the exam papers...

A story about seperation and how people deal with it.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. Although it's a bit slow and weird sometimes, it's cute and leaves a very warm feeling behind.
A comforting movie actually.

There are some cartoons shown of the cute little sheep and the wolf... Very sweet to watch. I wanted to see more sheep and wolf cartoons in the end~~
Also some very nice effects picturing the emotions of the characters quite well. For me it was a pleasure to watch it. Very nice pictures, cute dialogues, interesting characters, sad moments, very happy moments and a completely awesome moment at the end.

If you are looking for a lot of sweet romance, this might be the wrong movie. If you like slice-of-life like stories, you might enjoy this a lot. read more

In short, I counted the seconds so I can end this movie, then I started fast forward yet still it did not end soon enough,
the Female lead was annoying in every way possible, the chemistry between the two leads was very poor, it was more like an aunt and her niece..
the only thing that kept me going was the cuteness of Daito Shunsuke, his cuteness did a great job to save this movie but the movie was very dull I'm afraid it wasn't enough :(
I'm sorry for the fans of movie, but I hate the 45 min. I spent on this movie (Yes! I finished it in 45 min because of all the fast forward, and still I was bored to death)

This movie is really a phenomenal piece of work. I don't know why I didn't watch this sooner. What a daebak film! :D

This movie is a tearjerker. If you have a heart, you'll definitely weep or at least get teary. The story is nothing too grand, it's rather a very simple account of a spoiled city boy living with his rural dwelling grandmother. What follows is the kid's bratty behavior and a grandmother you just want to pull out of the screen and hug. She was really that cute and lovable. I swear I hated the kid so much till the end. He treats his grandmother like crap, and yet she never gets angry.

The overall pace is somewhat slow, but it has been shown very realistically. Both the kid and the grandmother didn't seem like they were acting at all! I'd give a full 10/10 to the direction. In fact I think the movie deserved a whole 10 if not the ending that I didn't quite like. I would have made it into a very fair ending if I could. Instead it remained as a somewhat sad end if you ask me.

I also loved the fact because it shows us how greedy people have become in today's world. There are many people in the world who come from rural side, get educated and then move to the city for their jobs and settle there. A lot of times they leave behind their parents, never looking twice how they are doing. The kid's mother is an example of such a person. She was downright awful if you ask me. She leaves her child with her mother and it was apparent they didn't have a good relation. Not just that, she's completely oblivious to the conditions her mute mother is living in. Any person with a heart would never do such a thing.

LOL, sorry about my little rant there. I couldn't help myself since the movie so accurately portrays real people that it kicked natural reactions out of me.

Anyway, the other things like the background score and the cinematography were also done well. I've heard that this movie was received well internationally also and now I can see why.

Honestly, if you let this pass up you're missing out something that is very fantastic. Watch this movie with your grandmother if you could. :) read more

you can watch this movie through dramacrazy.net or gooddrama.net .
i just wanted to start my review by saying the location of the movie if anyone wants to watch it, but the truth is i wont recommend it to any one. this movie was so slow, no twist in the story line,creepy music that makes you laugh and the plot was the exact same Synopsis nothing more nothing less, i dont know what to add more really but if you want to watch it for lee hyun jin or any other reason be aware that you might end up being hungry like i did!

This was the first Japanese film I've ever seen. I watched it in a film festival with my mom two years ago. After the film, we had to sit in our seats a little bit more to wipe our tears away. It was so moving and so warm that I've been recommending it everybody who wants to watch a good Asian movie. Even my mom keeps saying that it was a wonderful film although she's not a passionate moviegoer. The relationship between the little girl and her father was very touching and funny at the same time. While watching, I couldn't help myself from thinking about my cold relationship with my father. And lastly, the song at the end... There's no word to describe how it makes you feel. You should watch it without loss of time! read more

While working in the fashion industry, I've dealt with many models, MUAs, hair stylists, fashion designers, photographers, etc. What drew me to this film is the topic of modeling and fashion.

From the beginning, I did enjoy the caloric intake of breakfast for a typical model. However, when I heard she was eating 600 calories per day, I was very surprised. Normally, a model would intake 1000-1500 calories per day depending on her metabolism and she would use her daily meals intake differently each time in order for her body not to reach stabilization or a plateau.

The movie was OKAY. It had great potential but it blew it. It didn't astound me nor it wasn't consistent all the way through. At first, it seemed normal at the start and later on, I see this unnecessary comic/graphic approach with cutesy sayings and actions being blurted out on the screen. It just seemed to jump all over the place and I couldn't really feel like the movie was decent.
This is where it lost its vibe.

As a former model, I did not behave in front of photographers and assistants in the studio like she did. Nowadays, you have to wear what the photographer/wardrobe stylist wants you to wear and put your emotions aside. It's not your photoshoot, it's a collaborate thing. You can't put a hissy fit on what you want to wear to a professional shoot. It want your own shoot, then do one as a creative for yourself. You choose to be a model in this specific area then that's your choice.

For me, this movie was not a pleasurable experience since I have background experience in the industry.

Highly not recommend this movie to others. For those above reasons. read more

After hearing many positive comments about this film and being recommended to watch it so many times by friends, 'Confessions' definitely lived-up to its reputation.

It made me hide behind my cushion, bite my nails, shout at the television excitedly and nervously; it was very thrilling throughout the movie!

There was some violence, some blood and gore, and some heart-break and tears, all wound up in a very mind-twisting and emotional story. You need to pay attention to the small details because if you don't, you won't understand the movie as much. Even now, I need to re-watch it again because I feel there are some parts I need to understand a bit more but I can't bring myself to, because it has generally scared me to the core xD

You know when there are some movies that need to be seen in a cinema? Well, this doesn't. You can watch it at home at medium-volume (or how loud you like it) and you will still feel the hairs raise up on the back of your neck, the chilling whispers and screams..

So watch it, you won't regret it :) read more

This is my first time writing a review for drama shows (and in a long time) so I will try and be as critical as I can and not give too much away ^^;

I watched this off dramacrazy.net with English subtitles, so if you're having trouble finding it, that's the place to go.

A good watch or a time-waster? Overall, I would say it's a time-waster. It had a good moral to the story but it wasn't presented as strongly as I hoped from reading the plot summary so this was one disappointment.

I expected... so much more of a lesson in this movie. More emotional, more thought-provoking just like '200 Pounds Beauty', answering the question of: why do we change for love? And that size doesn't matter, we should love our inner selves not the outer etc.

Kang Do Kyeong's (Lee Hyun Jin - who also starred in 'Heartstrings') acting in this movie was good; he played his role well. However, I didn't find Lee So Jung (Do Ah Ra) convincing enough to *believe* and understand the reason why she changed her size for love unlike Kim A Joong as Han-Na in '200 Pounds Beauty'.

Despite that, there were some humour in some places and I grew to warm up to Do Ah Ra because of her improved personality and better relationship with her brother but still felt this was a let down. So overall, I would give it 5/10. read more

Mmmmmmm i really liked this movie beacuse i really like the stories when a bad guy and has no feeling becomes a great person beause of someone and this someone is a child you know this is not Familiar soo thos is really a good story i liked it and i liked the way that the main role became like a real father but it kinda needed like more romance but overall it is great likes it !!!.

This movie had so much potential. I thought the summary was great (I read the summary somewhere else, not here, they basically say the same thing though). A top model gaining weight for love. But she loved him...? Did she? There was no "falling in love", it was just "I want him". That's it.

Then she starts eating. Okay. I was excited because her brother was helping. I definitely thought she was going to gain a lot of weight. But she looks the same, just smaller clothes.

It was funny at times, especially in the beginning. But this movie wasn't anything special.
