Street dance vibe, not like step up at all but the best for dance movie

I watched this movie many days ago, but I can't get everything out of my head. I'm so overwhelmed with everything, storyline, 2 main actors, dance crew, Shou Shou family, so Worth IT! The main actor Shou Shou who Wang- Yibo plays has difficult life however he love breaking dance so he try practise it himself without proper lesson or coach but that not stop him for dream to be a part of dance studio E-Mark! I love how hard he try, how humble, dedicated, everyone around him fully support like his mom, I cry for this beautiful love I will definitely watch it again next weekend! Especially 20mins dance final so breathtaking!

Light and enjoyable

Overall I enjoyed this drama. The synopsis on here is a little 'off' because a big factor in the story is Rembrary wanting to return to his realm and needing to figure out what caused his expulsion in the first place and why. Also some characters are incorrectly named, like The Evil One.
The genre is definitely teen, supernatural, comedy, romance, with some emotional and action content; in that order.
The acting was fine, with a watchable cast and story that kept me engaged.
Loved Park Sang-nam as Sa Gam-jae.
Kim Min-Gue (Kue/Gyu/Kyu!) carried the ML role well, making some scenes I would usually find too cringeworthy, bearable.
I would love to see him head up a more substantial drama/role one day... soon I hope.
I am not that familiar with FL, Go Bo-gyeol (playing Kim Dal), but she fit the character well and their chemistry suited their roles, as both were inexperienced and innocent in terms of romance, so it was never going to be 'sizzling'.
The only actors I felt seemed a little uncomfortable in their characters, were Lee Jang-woo (The Evil One) and Cha Joo-young (as the deity, Redrin).
I didn't find it a struggle to finish this at all, so for my personal benchmark, that means it wasn't bad. It's light and easy to watch.
As mentioned before, it does have a 'young' feel, so if you're looking for something a bit deeper, with a more substantial plot, it might miss the mark.

Went in with low expectations

I was surprised at this production. I didn’t read the book so I went in with low expectations but was moved by the high quality of the story, acting, visuals, and OST.

The bad

Not much really. The CGI isn’t the best I’ve seen not the worse but doesn’t take away from the rating at all. Overall the visuals are still beautiful.

The good

The story is very captivating. I’ve never come across a story as complex as this one and it’s to the point that I really have no clue what is going to happen next as I watch each scene unfold. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a show make me feel the full spectrum of emotions. The acting is done so well from each character. Even supporting characters are able to hold their own in the acting department. I also appreciate that each character is different and has different goals and ambitions. No character is good or bad and you almost forget that they are deities or creatures. They seem so human, unlike most non humans in xianxias. I also like how logical they are which gives them a sense of realism. Though this is a romance, it’s not all filled with romance and definitely leaves you pondering about the complexities of life and relationships. This story doesn’t have the CDrama tropes that most of us come to expect in these types of xuanhuan/xianxia shows. The OST is beautiful, each song is carefully tailored at the right moment to elevate each scene.

Though I understand this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, I’d highly recommend you watch it for yourself and make your own choice.

THE WEAKEST LINK IN THE VENGEANCE TRILOGY

I have to admit that this is probably my least favorite movie out of the Vengeance trilogy. The most prominent weakness this movie has is its story which is just not as impactful as the previous ones. If we just look at it as a standalone movie and not as part of a trilogy, it is still not a great movie and comes along the definition of just ok enough.

The second problem I have with this movie is its conclusion. When you've watched the other two movies in this trilogy, you kind of expect the ending to be unsatisfactory and gritty. But it just kind of changed that, it tried to make the ending satisfactory and didn't even succeed at that.

Final Verdict: I personally don't urge you to watch this. But if you've decided to watch this, I can only guarantee that it won't be completely bad.

Interesting concept but I got super bored...Maybe a case of "it is me, not you"

The movie is centred around an interesting concept, as our hero Saijo is able see women in love surrounded by sparkling lights. The fact that he is able to visually perceive the love but does not understand what it is is, is the key element of the story. The viewer follows his evolution as he interacts with the three main female protagonists and learn more about himself and what love is.

Despite this intriguing premise, I found myself totally disengaged from the storylines. The discussions that the characters were having were highly theoretical and I got super bored as the story unfolded itself. The outcome was pretty obvious from start and the script did not manage to hold my interest. I was still hoping for a surprise until the end...but no, the resolution was exactly what I expected. Surprise and unexpectedness are not necessarily what I look forward in a romance, but still I need something to catch up my interest (passion, chemistry, poesy,....) but here it felt too bland for my taste.

I found the casting doing an adequate job but I was not super impressed by any of them. I must say that the pretty convoluted dialogs did not help keeping me invested in what was happening on screen, so I'm not sure if the problem in keeping my interest is the acting or the story, both or totally something else?

I would not recommend this to people. I feel there are better romantic movies out there and that this one is overall pretty bland and forgettable...

Lots of quirk!

This series is a quirky blend of various genres with doses of medical drama, crime mystery, and rom-com. I enjoy how whimsical and unpredictable it is and love the acting. But I could see it isn't for everyone: It has frenetic pacing and an absurd and peculiar plot, which I consider part of its charm.

Have you ever wondered what your pets and other animals are thinking? Understanding the inner thoughts and memories of animals is an intriguing narrative device that is sure to create some insightful perspectives and comedic situations.

Sweet, No melodrama, Villain, or major misunderstanding between the leads

I stumbled upon "You Are My Glory" after watching "Here We Meet Again," and to my delight, found them to be very similar. This review delves into why this drama left a positive impression on me.

Positive Aspects:
One of the standout features of "You Are My Glory" is the authentic chemistry between the main leads. Their natural on-screen interactions were a visual treat, enhanced by Yang Yang's captivating presence. The drama boasts an array of passionate kisses that left a lasting impact.

What I Loved:
This drama excels in avoiding common pitfalls, such as love triangles or misunderstandings between the leads. Both characters maintain open communication, which makes their journey even more endearing. The narrative remains focused on the central couple, with minimal side stories. This streamlined approach resonates with my preference for a story that emphasizes the main characters without excessive melodrama.

Potential Drawbacks:
"You Are My Glory" opts for a straightforward plot without major twists. The story progresses steadily, showcasing the journey from classmates to lovers to a married couple. While this simplicity was refreshing for me, others might find the lack of intricate plot elements tedious. The absence of significant ups and downs, coupled with the leads' accomplishments in their professional lives, could be perceived as less engaging for some viewers.

Conclusion:
In essence, "You Are My Glory" delivers a sweet and genuine romance without the burden of excessive drama or convoluted subplots. For those seeking a healthy and refreshing love story, free from overwhelming stress, this drama is a solid choice. While its plain and straightforward narrative might not appeal to everyone, its focus on the central characters' growth and relationship offers a heartwarming and enjoyable viewing experience.

There was No Future Here

This drama had great potential based off of the synopsis and also having one of my favorite male leads Luo Zheng. But it faded fast after just the first episode.

Luo Zheng again is playing the role of CEO. At this point of playing a CEO in his last three dramas, including this one, I feel it is time for him to start looking into other roles. He has mastered, in my opinion, how to truly be a CEO that he is being typecasted. It is time to refocus. Let him move onto other roles. But let me tell you about the drama.

Shen Jun Yao (Luo Zheng) is CEO of a tech company that he has put all of this scientific equipment into the home that Xia Mo (Ji Mei Han) is coming back to reclaim. After literally "falling" for him at the airport, the media cast her as the "new" woman that he is seeing. When Xia Mo comes to the house Shen Jun Yao is only willing to share the house and not give it to her. Due to his problem now with what the media misconstrued at the airport he devises a way to keep the house and have her be able to stay as well. How do we handle this? We create a "contractual" couple agreement. Meaning they would be a couple which killed two birds with one stone. Letting her stay in the home but also fixing his problem with the media by having them be a couple. We also have "Starlight" a robot which Shen Jun Yao created to ease his mother's mind after losing his brother in a fire and Danika an AI that is able to access and handle things as needed for Shen Jun Yao and his grandfather, who is the president.

All of that sounded good but this drama went downhill fast.

Xia Mo (Ji Mei Han) was so annoying, bratty, whiny and so miscast as his love interest. I have no idea why Shen Jun Yao, yet alone his brother Lin Heng were so enamored of her. To watch them fighting over her was just sad. Why Shen Jun Yao was even interested in her yet, fall in love with her was so beyond me. Even though these actors have appeared in at least three dramas together. In this one, there was no attraction. It felt so awkward and forced every time they kissed. I cannot tell you how many times I cringed just watching her, yet alone them as a couple. She does get a job at Candy which was a subsidiary to the tech company that Shen Jun Yao was CEO of. But the unbelievable part is she had no experience at all, yet they let her head up major projects. She dressed like she was 12 years old, even her mother mentioned how she was dressed. Watching her go to head up a presentation in front of executives in tennis shoes, suspender blue jeans was just so wrong. I could not stand her when she came on screen.

I was looking to find out "who" was from the future. I guess it was Starlight the robot. I could not think of anything else. There were not that many things I felt were that futuristic. Again, a title that served not purpose for this drama. Yang Ze (Starlight) was the saving grace of this drama. Playing a robot was so well done that I wanted him to have more screen time.

To make the drama even more interested we had Lin Zheng (the real brother of Shen Jun Yao) kidnap Xia Mo. For what? Who knows just added drama. We have Lin Zheng admit to Shen Jun Yao that he was the brother that he left in the burning building. They brothers fight and Starlight saves Xia Mo as she is hanging from the ceiling. But to have more added drama as Lin Zheng has a taser like instrument that he uses on Starlight which damages his core. Shen Jun Yao and Xia Mo have to decide if they save Starlight or let him go due to his core damage. Since Xia Mo is really the owner of Starlight when he saved her in a house fire, she is the one to make the decision on what to do. Of course, it is to save him no matter what the cost. Yeah! Starlight lived.

The brother come to terms with their estrangement over the years and make up. Shen Jun Yao proposes to Xia Mo in front of family and friends. But you would think the ending would consist of a wedding or the family all together, but they show his brother in a police car in handcuffs headed to jail to pay for his crimes. The End.

You notice there was no promotion for this drama. I can see why. It was so poorly thrown together that when it came to the ending you were happy to see it done. If you feel this drama has something futuristic in it, then you definitely have the wrong drama. Don't do it to yourself.

Everything in drama is just perfect

I watched this drama because of a reel I saw on Instagram I thought this a love triangle kind of a story but fall in love with the story when I started watching it . Tu Songyan's character is so good. This drama shows how good a person can be and how selfish a person might be to leave their child. This drama contains a special kind of affection. All the characters were so perfect for the roles .I felt bad when the girl was left alone after the boys left and when they came back it was so awkward between them .

A great story that has an underlying message, "Sometimes, we don't deserve to have good things."

In the beginning, the story folded out very well. All of the characters have some kind of potential and brought lots of joys to the drama. Each character added a unique emotion to their scenes. Watching it, we can see the efforts put into this drama by Yangzi, WY, TJC, and DW. In the first 10 episodes, Yangzi holds the drama with her stellar acting. We felt all kinds of emotions. As the drama unfolded, Cang Xuan and Deng wei took 11 to 20 episodes on their back with their amazing performances. Epi 21 to 26 Tan Jianci stole our hearts and attention. When the romance between Jing and XY starts, I feel like that drama went downhill from there up until XL appears again to save XY 30 to 32. After that, the drama pretty much went downhill. Only watchable when XL appeared. Some people will understand why while others will not. It's ok. Just my opinion.

Characters Wise:
In the beginning, Xiao Yao was independent. She didn't need any man in her life to complete her. However, after she became a princess, her character development went from a mature woman to a jealous girl in love. However, that is not the case with all of the male leads. She is very smart FL but when it comes to her love's life, she is clueless and dense.
CX - XY is mature, understanding, supportive
TSJ-XY is sometimes immature and jealous, going back and forth with TSJ's Fiancee issue.
XL-XY is mature, understanding on a deep level, heart-to-heart conversation, deep emotions
Cang Xuan - XY and CX got two of the purest, family loves that have ever been portrayed in Drama Land. They got each other back and will be ready to die for each other. However, throughout this ordeal, CX has to keep his one-sided love to himself due to his goal to protect Xy by becoming the King of Xiyan. Throughout this journey, he has used XY for his political gain but has also protected her along the way. Along the way, he has some character development. He went from being an overprotective brother to an understanding brother. Unfortunately, he will lose XY due to his yearning for XY's loves.
TSJ - TSJ is one of the kindest, purest men but has no backbone which becomes his weakness in the future. He is attentive but sometimes, that attentiveness is overdone. Imagine a guy asking you to go meet him and when you don't, he stays there until you feel bad enough to show up. In addition, locking down XY with a 15-year promise when he hasn't sorted out his Fiancee issues and continues for many more episodes. Also, his chemistry with XY as Shiqi was strong but once he become TSJ, he became weaker, and his chemistry with XY, for me, just kind of appeared boring from Epi 26-28 due to him never sorting out his Fiancee issue. Like come on dude, you have 39 episodes to sort out your life.
Xiang Liu - is my biased but I won't go into detail about why I love him. After episode 32, I cannot watch other people's scenes anymore. I skipped and watch XL's scenes because his scenes always make me cry and smile like an idiot. I get it. Although he has the bad boy aura, he is truly a person who is straightforward, goal-orientated, and knows what he wants-cleaning up XY and Jing's messes for them. Although he did some unforgivable things to the female, he also repaid her back with more than what he did to her: taking the love bug, giving XY his life twice, and saving Jing from death so XY and Jing can have a happy ending. His character development was one of the greatest, most complex characters created since AOL and 1000P.
As you reach Epi 32, you will start to understand why the title is so sad. However, XY and Jing deserved each other. I am glad XL will get the result that he has since the beginning till now. Sometimes, a happy ending is realizing your dreams.

Spoilers:

What pisses me off after I got to epi 32?
Everyone fighting about who deserves XY but did anyone observe whether XY deserve them?
In my opinion, XY is selfish, indecisive, weak, reliant, and not as independent as the beginning XY before she met all of them. Her character development turns for the worse.
She and Jing truly deserved each other. I am glad that they will kill XL after all the shit that he has done and will be doing for both of these two weak characters.
At this point, I am so done with this drama. Xiang Liu and Cangxuan are the only two characters holding this drama together. Without their presence, it is probably just another weak romance story.
I'm glad the author put the title "Lost You Forever" with regret and the possibility of what could have been. The author realized that sometimes, we don't deserve good things. Although some said the title is for CangXuan and XY, but I disagree. The title is for all of the main characters. Although it is a HE for XY and Jing, only a sad title is what they both deserved. Just my opinion.

Its Perfectly syncornized

"I am lucky to have you as my disciple"
The story shows us how a person experienced everything from being the best to living with the simplest thing to again getting bounded with his past...
This was a perfect combination of everything...mystery, showed various shades of human nature, friendship, bickering, solving cases, a pinch of romance, and many heartbreaks...
The acting was great...even fox spirit( LLH's dog). I could feel the emotions of LLH/LXY every time he was angry, he cried, laughed...CY can express through his eyes...I liked every character...none of them were out of place...Many people complained about QWM but I think she was good, both the acting and the character...
Emotions were attached to even the objects...and it's the first Chinese drama with a case-solving duo, little or no romance that I have watched till the end and waited for the next episode...
The character development was good too...FDB's change from a young man who gets fooled easily by LLH's words to a reasonable man was great to watch...DFS's change and his character were a good contrast with LLH and FDB.
Each of the cases had their own colours and own speciality and I liked how the story build up step by step...
The ending was hurtful but good...though it didn't flutter me because I had predicted it seeing LLH's self-love and the fact that CY is playing the character...
Overall I will come to watch it again after some years when I will need a good bromance.

It's full of love, adventure and more adventure! AMAZING absolutely AMAZING

First of all, This is drama is whole package it has adventure, romance, bromance, medical, action, inspiration, comedy, literally EVERYTHING I LOVE. The story was wow just wow! The fact that they're love it sooo pure like so genuine and it's just soo sweet. The cast. HATS OFF the acting was fantastic, I could genuinely see how much hard work has been put into this drama and this drama is a masterpiece. I watched it without at all knowing either of the actors but finished the drama as a huge fan of both. The story felt soo real. And was really exciting to watch. The music too was phenomenal. And I almost never give a drama a good rewatch value but this is 100% worth rewatching. I can't believe it ended soo quickly. I hesitated to watch it cause there were 40 eps and I don't ususally watch drama that long but this drama jhad soo much going on it finished soo quickly that I'm still in awe. And I must add although most dramas end with a happy ending this drama's ending felt more like a 'Adventures to be continued' than a 'happily ever after'. Overall absolutely freaking amazing masterpiece! trust me if you like watching dramas with true and pure love but also something with a determined passion for helping others this is it. I tell you this is it. Watch it and thank me later. 👩‍⚕️❤️️🧑‍🚒🚒😵🚑

A fun, light and entertaining romantic comedy.

I finished this drama more than a month ago. This is a romantic comedy that is fun, light and entertaining to watch. There is great chemistry between Vin Zhang and Janice Wu (they have many kissing scenes and romantic moments), and they were able to bring their characters, Xu Yan Shi and Xiang Yuan, respectively, to life. There were some push and pull in their relationship due to misunderstandings, which can be frustrating at times. But the good thing is, these did not last long. I did not feel much chemistry between the 2nd ML (Gao Leng, played by Huang De Yi) and 2nd FL (Chen Shu, played by Nita Xia). However, on their own, I like both characters, despite their flaws (there are no perfect characters anyway). I like that there were back stories related to the main leads’ families, but I wish more could be said of the ML’s mother.

Aside from family, the drama showed relationship dynamics and happenings in the workplace, both the good and bad, the realistic and unrealistic ones. I find the industry that the drama focused on, i.e., satellite navigation technology, quite interesting, so I did not get bored in the scenes where they talked about it. The opening and ending theme songs are good, they’re quite catchy! Overall, this is a good drama for me.

And so with this movie, the story of Hira and Kiyoi comes to the end. What a journey it has been. Probably the best BL series I have ever seen.

The story of two flawed men who early on realized that their missing parts are in each other, the true soulmates, complete only when they are together. On the surface it is an odd pairing. Hira is ugly, submissive, apparently weak and probably slightly Asperger's while Kiyoi is beautiful, popular and a leader. And here is what makes this story so amazing: when you lightly scratch the surface you find a different kind of people here. Hira is a talented photographer and actually a very strong person both physically and emotionally and he shows that side of him only when he's around Kiyoi. Behind his beauty and talent, Kioyi is very much insecure and uncertain of his abilities. The blind trust and admiration that Hira expresses, let Kiyoi lower his guard and be his real self.

In this movie they finally find answers to all questions that had been bothering them but mainly: how to stay together? While Hira is happy just to exist on the same planet as Kiyoi, who is the King, like a star to him; Kiyoi depends on Hira to give him strength, who accepts him no matter what. The story follows them after they graduated from the college. They both are working hard now and are facing their own lacking skills which reflects in their relationship.

The story of Hira and Kiyoi is a tale of the ultimate toxic relationship which works because they are both aware of it, accept it and are on the same footing and equal in spite of appearing to be otherwise.

This movie is literally beautiful: the cinematography is extraordinary- soft colours, dreamy exposure. Sets correspond characters : Hira's messy house, the photographer's white geometrical and empty house. Clothes too!

When the first season came out, I remember liking it enormously but then thinking I must have misunderstood it after reading what others were saying about it. Kieta Hatsukoi came out at the same time and everyone prefered it to this one. They are on a different level and cannot be compared: KH is rather straightforward and ordinary. My Beautiful Man has the depth no other series managed to touch. It is not an easy drama to watch, one needs to actually SEE what they are trying to show without it being in your face. And therein lies the beauty of this series.

eating companion

Imagine this drama like a calm peaceful water. nothing really happens. which is good. nothing can provoke u, but also, nothing to entertain u.

I don't hate anything abt the drama, be it the villains (altho they can be annoying at times), or anything else. i was just fine with it, at the end of the day, they did not really matter. that's it. i was simply not interested.

Not to say that the story is bad, but like the headline, i can only watch this while eating, and even if i watch it while not eating, i need to play it with 1.75× speed bcos nothing really interesting happened.

Happened to be, I'm on my holiday rn, so i got a lot of time on my hands. I'm not particularly stressed so I don't need anything light, i need drama. yeah. this drama, there are not much drama (please understand what I'm saying), it was very laid-back and chill. so yeah, nothing. just nothing. So i dropped it.

Don't let my review stop you from watching, tho. this drama was actually quite decent and realistic. about their characters, about situations in their jobs. since it's not annoying or bad at all, who knows i might pick it up again, in the future. ok, that's it!

ps: btw pls disregard my score abt the music. i take no note at all abt the music in this drama so i don't even realize if it's bad or good. i just had to score them or else, yeah u know.
