I actually had a hard time watching this -____- There were times when I just wanted to give up on this drama. I couldn't stand some of the actors/actresses acting. Especially the person who was playing Mike He's older brother. I think he played his part sorta well (clueless, weak & can't stand up for himself), it's just when he's acting w/ other people, for ex. w/ his gf, then he looks stiff & awkward. I usually fast forward his scenes w/ his gf since they were pretty much predictable.

Other than that, I kept on watching since I'm a Mike He & Cyndi Wang fan. I love these two & they're so adorable together ^-^ But I don't think Mike He should

I liked the story but I was disappointed by the ending. I thought it was rly rushed at the end and could have used another epi or 2 to explain things a little better. It killed me how fast Yi Fei's pregnancy went but Mei Le's was not even visible the further along she was. I think Mike He did an excellent job expressing his characters feelings about his loss of independence when he was seen as such a strong person. I rly enjoyed how the music stopped right before a critical answer was given. It added a sense of importance to that answer. I rly enjoyed this drama & it will stick w/ me b/c it dealt w/ so many different issues. I may watch read more

I just finished watching this and, like everyone else, I'm annoyed and confused. However, after thinking about it (for a looong time) I don't think they are headed towards a memorial show at his grave- b/c it would be just plain rude to make his family/girlfriend/son need tickets to gain entrance.... So, I'm going w/ the happier choice of him being a happily married popstar. After all, while there might be a much higher statistic of obtaining rare diseases in dramas, the cure rate in dramas is also ridiculously high ;)

I Loved Love Loved this drama. Did Not see that ending coming. I also loved Wang Cyndi except she looked (in my opinion) exactly the same at the start as she did after the ?make-over? ? they could have made her less attractive at the start.
As far as the ending goes I think they left it for interpretation so the viewer can decide how they want it to end, however it?s quite annoying -.- still didn?t fault this drama <3

I really like this drama. It was truly touching. Ending isn't so simple. I had to think a while about it to understand. In my opinion actors did well. And I like female lead too. Xuan Xuan was a typical villain but honestly I hated Yi Lei's mother much more. She was terribly annoying. After all I reccomend this drama. Because of twists in the plot you won't be so sure what can happen soon.

this is not my favorite Mike He drama, although he was great in it..I couldn't stand the girl.
    • kimchifans May 2, 2012
i don't like Cyndi Wang too... She's not pretty enough to be a female lead

what does looks have to do with whether someone can be a female lead or not? >.> it is a very, very shallow thing to say. but her acting is not female-lead material.

    • kimchifans Jan 7, 2013
well at least female lead should be pretty if lacking in acting
    • superpasta Jan 7, 2013
why should she be pretty if lacking in acting? i dun get it? There are a lot of actresses who are not that pretty but are pretty good at what they do. I dun get why someone should be judged for their face. how would you feel if someone told you . "you are too ugly to do this job" even if you are not that great at it, you still try hard for the job you want to do. why should your face get in the way? the fact that she gets jobs even if she is not that pretty (according to your tastes cause other people think otherwise) means that she is working hard for her work and she is learning, i dun think that someone who is trying hard won't succeed. Why should the looks be a problem? If anything i congratulate her for not getting plastic surgery to please the eyes of shallow viewers!
    • goldenseal50 Jan 7, 2013
I'm sorry but acting is a visual art..you can be a painter but if your paintings aren't somehow attractive, they won't sell...same principal. But I wasn't complaining about her looks :) I just don't like her lolol

    • superpasta Jan 7, 2013
do u know her personally? what kind of person she is etc? is this why you do not like her? or do you not like her acting? if she did not sell, she wouldn't be in so many dramas though anyway. besides, in the world of art, there are a lot of artists who dun care about their work selling or not. Do not get me wrong, i am also not fond of her acting :3 but as a person i know nothing about her so i cannot say that i dislike her :3
    • goldenseal50 Jan 7, 2013
um lol I don't dislike her personally...I dislike her subjectively. like I dislike the color mustard!
    • superpasta Jan 7, 2013
subjectively means that you personally dislike her. when we speak subjectively we speak from our own point of view not from a general point of view. however when you say , it like that it seems like you consider a color and a person as the same thing? strange right? i subjectively dislike people that i have met and are annoying to me. subjectively or http://www.thefreedictionary.com/subjectively . subjectively and personally can mean the same thing " subjective: "b. Particular to a given person; personal: subjective experience."
    • goldenseal50 Jan 7, 2013
lol I am ready to give up ...but I will give it one last argument...subjective means from my point of view...personally means being effected by a particular person, they might be synonyms but they don't mean the same exact thing. (I don't use dictionaries...i use experience lol) so it's subjective hahahaha...um we should take this off this page :) pm me if you want to argue some ....I love to argue!
    • superpasta Jan 7, 2013
pm's are bothersome to me LOL but i just think that disliking a person you do not know for no reason but simply because you are subjective doesn't make much sense. when you are subjective you speak on your behalf. when u are not subjective, then you speak objectively and this means that is something commonly accepted. personally speaking, doesn't mean that you speak personally because some person affected you to speak this way :3 this is what i think. so what exactly do you dislike about her if it is not her personality? is it her face? or the rumors you have heard about her? For example I have heard a lot of bad rumors about BoA , and i am not very objective when it comes to her. i do not like her, but i do not dislike her either. I am neutral. She is someone that i do not care about even though i have listened to her music and stuff. So maybe this is what it is. You are neutral?-
    • goldenseal50 Jan 7, 2013
I didn't like her character in the drama. :D
    • superpasta Jan 7, 2013
now this makes much more sense to me :3 i did not like Mei Le either. she was too much of a people pleaser even after the poor guy tried to change her lol :3

This was my first Taiwanese drama and it made me a fan of Mike He and Cyndi Wang. It made me like some things more than K-dramas. Such as the lack of awkwardness when there is physical interaction such as a simple hug or touch of a shoulder. I liked this a lot even though it was far from perfect. The ending did feel rushed, but overall I think it was worth the time I spent watching.

All are excellent questions. They could not have made a more confusing ending. I think, they went to his concert, live. I was a bit mad an the ending.
