    Lost in a dream scape, a forest of mirrors where reality is reflected in fantasy, Hai Jei glimpses, first a beautiful girl then a beautiful child who replies her name is ALICE.

    Shortly after this dream Hai Jei meets and falls in love with a girl named ALICE, but after a night of making love, she disappears. Hai Jei then meets Lan Die Fei (Lara) who is working at the concert house and this meeting results in Hai Jei’s chance to play his violin on stage. The concertmaster, Ting Yu, is late to the scene and his famed violin turns up missing. Hai Jei lends his violin to Ting Yu and the stage is set.

    i had this on my ptw list for months because I was ify with all the comments and reviews but i'm so glad I finally watched it. I seriously loved this drama... everything about it was amazing - the music, the characters, the plot, the atmospheric tone (which I just have to say if you are watching anything with "alice in wonder" in the title clearly its going to be dreamlike so I don't get the negative comments about that) but really I cant think of anything I didn't love about this drama one of the best if not best Taiwanese drama ive seen =)

    The first ep was really good!! I'm nervous because of all of the bad comments though T.T I hope I keep liking it!! Good Taiwanese dramas are hard to come by!

    It started off so promising then it hit the midpoint high and ended with a complete dud.

    It may come off as a bit tacky in the way it tried to be whmisical but I didn't mind, I actually liked the etheral-melancholic mood set by both music and some gimmicks to make it "dreamlike". However the only genuinely likeable character was the good Hai Jie and perhaps Lisa. The rest did grow on me eventually. However, it may suffer from being seen as a drama which tries too hard to be different in terms of technical execution, whilst offering a sugar-coated melodrama instead of substance, as that what it is two love stories soaked in mystery related to one of the characters and bound by friendship between characters.not at all like nodame cantabile, classical music was not as well developed as in NC. Nodame is actually better because it doesn't try to be pretentious, this one may come off as pretentious. I personally did not dislike it, however. on the contrary.

      The cast is all in all appealing in their roles. And for a taiwanese drama, it actually tried to be well executed and set a mood, I give it a plus for that. I was definitely drawn to the visuals myself but if you're looking for a drama with a realistic, tangible substance look elswhere, for instance Shut Up Flower Bpy Band or what's up. This one remains in the realm of standard melodrama fares, like a melodramatatic fairytale with all expected elements but with an attempt at creating "magical" melancholic feel and I found myself drawn to it and the characters' entanglements as they unraveled. I was satisfied with the ending; the ending scenes were a really nice touch. I also felt 15 episodes was just perfect for this drama, they managed to wrap it all quite well. Music abounds in this drama and it was quite lovely, though lyrics to some tracks are plain silly. 7.

    they were MEANT TO KISS in ep 11 but nooooooooooo just has to wait till next week!!! WHY DID THIS EP HAVE TO BE AROUND THE TIME THE OLYMPICS ARE ON! but i still love this show, its just the agony of having to wait a week until the next ep came out!! and the subbing takes sooo long!! PATIENCE IS WHAT I NEED!!

    I wonder how this drama should be related to nodame cantabile. If so then it should be also related to beethoven virus because it has a classical orchestra in it.... Doesn't really make sense. But this whole drama doesn't make any sense. Well, let's watch and see if it gets better...
