Reborn Rich: A Epic Journey of Revenge and Rebirth

"Reborn Rich" offers a fresh twist on the familiar themes of time travel and body swapping, featuring our beloved Song Joong-Ki in a dual role. Yoon Hyun-Woo has served the Soonyang Conglomerate for over a decade, only to be betrayed and shot. Miraculously, he awakens in the body of Jin Do-Jun, the conglomerate's youngest grandson. This drama brilliantly intertwines historical events with Hyun-Woo's quest for revenge, as he uses his knowledge from his previous life to outmaneuver those who wronged him and to take over the corporation.

The nostalgia of revisiting past events adds depth to the storyline, although the extensive Soonyang family can be challenging to keep track of initially. The plot, while engaging, has some holes, but for those who watch dramas for pleasure and escapism, these can be easily overlooked.

The standout performance comes from Lee Sung-Min, who plays the formidable Jin Yang-Cheol, the patriarch of the Soonyang family. His portrayal of a man whose true passion is his company adds a compelling layer to the narrative.

"Reborn Rich" is a must-watch for fans of time travel and body-swapping dramas.

Could have been almost perfect, but was too rushed

Tbh I didn't expected too much because of the bad ratings. I even hesitated to watch it, but i am glad i did! I was really surprised and i think the ratings are way too harsh. The acting was really good and even tough it was rushed, especially at the last episodes, the tension between the main actors was wonderful. I was curious because I've heard, that the main actors, who are in the same kpop group give us a real kissing scene! And yes they were kissing once, but unfortunately not in the end. I am quite sad how rushed the series was. The Plot could have been soooo good, I was just waiting for a BL Story like that. I think, if the episodes were longer the storytelling better, it would be a 9 or even a 10 for me. But overall I enjoyed it, even if it's not going to be one of my favourite series. It's not deep enough, but if you are wondering if you want to watch it, just do it. It's short, cute and it's not perfect, but I had butterflies. And last but not least... the main actors/idols are very good looking :D

The only thing which made me cringe was the bad english of J. The actor should have trained his pronunciation of his sentences better, because J grew up in the US.

It was great

This drama is suitable for you if you're looking forward to watch a mystery, action drama. As the first part of the series, it didn't disappoint me that much because of seeing some characters from 'Khun Chai Ratchanon', it reminds me of season 1. I love how Khun Chai Lek and Soifah were so sweet and loving. And the acting was great too. Gulf and Gina did a great job portraying their character. As a mystery lover, the plot always make me curious and got me want to watch another episode. The only thing that disappoint me is that the lack of romantic scenes between the main-lead. I don't like how Laor kept pushing Khun Phuu (The scene in EP 15 where Khun Phuu tried to kiss Laor. I would love it if they kissed in that scene.) Overall, it was a great drama. It deserves 7 in my opinion. Would I rewatch it? I think I would.

STORY INSIDE A STORY THIS IS THE ONE!!! ???

I love eevrything about this drama, I’m in the middle of drama slump and then I decide to watch this one. This drama yes indeed a bit medium to heavy as the story and plot like there is a story inside a story but it connects to each other and the other story also support how the journey their love blooms. I’m in love with this story.
For me it’s the best and the soundtrack is just the best out of the best made the drama even more funny, sad, and excited to see.
So if you are that like a slow developing love, and loce journey this one indeed the best.
Especially with the cast of Ryan Ding and Yang Chao Yue they are so cute together 😍
Hopefully you guys enjoy this drama!

What Is Real and What is... Fake...?

This is one of the more curious drama story's I've watched in a long time. I was intrigued by the synopsis and the actor Tamaki Hiroshi is one of my absolute favorite actors to watch so I really wanted to not only give this show a chance but enjoy it as well. The progress is quite fast, if you miss a beat you may miss a few important moments; though I never really felt confused or that I misunderstood something in the long run.

I'm curious as to why this only has so few episodes, but while watching it kind of fits the five episode range; toward the end it felt like if more was added then it may feel like it was an improbable idea or a completely different show. Watching Tamaki Hiroshi work as someone who remembered faces was fascinating! I've never seen him work so hard to create such a mesmerizing character. It was nice to see the character's not only succeeding but also failing in their work(s). Only seeing the success of a character(s) is good, but can get boring after a while; so to see that the writers/creators/directors/etc... included the bad along with the mundane and the good was truly interesting and had me on the edge of my seat during the last couple of episodes.

I have to add though, if you aren't good with strong violence, then this may be a show you watch in the daylight or with a partner or not at all. It isn't AWFUL and it isn't too prevalent, there is a few points where I thought "okay time to watch some child cartoons" to try and calm myself down before bed, but that may just be a personal issue. However, the violence does not control the show, it doesn't overtake any point of the story and it isn't too gory or unbelieveable.

This story is honestly great for the five episode line up... Less is more and all that. Each episode was jam packed, though, with so many emotions and mystery and thrills that I was on the edge of my seat, biting my nails in anticipation! If you enjoy thrilling suspense, unsolvable mysteries, dramatic action, and story's that make you think... REALLY THINK what is real and what is fake and what is only in your imagination... Then give this show a try!

Great Concept. Great Storyline. But Lame and Convenient Ending.

Great concept. Great storyline. Some reckless details but very few. However, the ending is very lame and feels like cheating.

Just before the ending, the ML can suddenly touch anything in the past just to clear the game—this is cheating #1. Then, his son can bring anything from the past at the age of 5, when he doesn't even understand the concept of the past. He doesn't know what a 'year' is, so we can't even talk about how he understands '18 years ago', but the FL can persuade him to bring the ML back from 18 years ago...? And they don't make it realized about his method for bringing things back from the past either, so it feels more like magic than a superpower. They make it too convenient without rationality. So that's cheating #2.

P.S. I usually give music scores an average of 5 because I don't consider myself an expert in that field. If the music isn’t exceptionally good or bad, I might not notice it, so I try to be fair. But this series has put the wrong music in the wrong places and at the wrong times quite often. For example, when the ML goes back to meet the FL in the past for the first time. It happens under a serious atmosphere, but a light, funny music suddenly starts at that point -_- The music sounds out of place and doesn’t match the mood of the scenes. It's noticeably off.

Very forgettable storywise but chemistry between leads makes up for everything

First the cons of this show. Plot wise it's a very cliche show. If you are only here for the plot then you might be dissapointed. Nothing really seem to happen, it's just a depiction of the daily life of the characters.

Now the pros, the chemistry and the interactions between the leads. Mame is very good at UST and NC and this show is no exception. it's a lot more realistic then other shows and the interactions between the two leads either made me laugh or made my heart flutter. This is not something that often happens. These two are wonderful together and have great chemistry and it shows. Although it's not a show you would be waiting impatiently every week for an update, mainly because there is no suspense, but it's definitly one of those feel good shows that you will not miss. This show makes me not care about the plot because the leads really do carry the entire show.

Anyway, for those looking for a low drama kind of show that will make you smile, this is it. don't go in with high expectations and you will have a wonderful time. and it's so nice to see familiar actors from other shows.

It was a fun watch, not too complicated

I liked this drama better than the hyped dramas that came this year till now. It starts off slow but picks up pace from the 2nd episode. And after that you just can’t stop watching. The plot keeps you going till the end.
Jae-i had good chemistry with both of the guys but I wanted him to end up with Ri-an and I am happy she kind of did picked him in the end. She was herself with him only and he was also sincere with her. So I am glad that they sorted out the mess and ended on good terms.
I am not sure about kang ha,maybe there should’ve been another female lead for him as love interest bcz Jae-i loved Ri-an and they are more suited for each other.
I liked the rivalry and the ups and downs on their friendship. He-ra was amazing. Loved her character. She was more interesting character than Jae-i. 🫢

Overall I wasn’t as interested in the school bullying thing as it got too toxic but that was the main plot of the show. I was more interested in what was going on between Jae-i, Ri-an, Kang ha and He-ra love square. Overall it was a good watch to complete in one day.

This is very biased preference review btw

Seriously, I was a fan till the last episode come out. The ending, woah, really, I don't understand? Like the whole story I love, become the story I hate because of the 15 last minutes?

The whole story, that builds the character of an intelligent, cool, and wise crown prince, end up throwing his throne and responsibilities for a lover... So easily? After they bring this whole narrative about they can't be together tho? Like he just toss it to his brother and run away?? My cool dependable crown prince just run away like that? Just like that?? Elaborate pls?? Show me the struggle? The process?

I love the story but the ending... Just the ending... The ending is not cool. Too shortened.

while it’s a good show, something was lacking.

honestly don’t know what to expect after watching first 10 episodes of the show.

the plot is like moving from one “zhou” to another “zhou”. then there’s plot about the great imperial grandson which was there till mid way then it was forgotten until it popped up again after 3/4 of the show. then the rebellion between the sons, to be honest for them to come to this point, who started all this? if Cui Lin wasn’t so insistent of wanting Shiqi to be the CP, and wrote that request to the imperial court, these won’t escalate into such big tragedy.

shiqi’s life is hanging by the thread even if he didn’t become CP. and the worries he told Pei Yuan if he become one, it made sense. for Cui Lin, he’s the only one who can correct the weight from wrong and ensure peace. if she wants to be his Crown Princess, she jolly well know that her reputation can’t be as strong as Li family. and Cui Army’s disbandment is inevitable. this part could carry more emotional plot for both of them. but it just went off poof fast, and they reconciled. maybe I’m expecting too much.

I’m hoping for less angst for I started this show and while the show did less angst, overall, the show is not giving that punch.

I honestly don’t know what’s lacking in this show that prevented me enjoy it fully. I dozed off at some parts but I enjoy some parts too.

both main leads showcase their wits and intelligence, proving them to be equal. I’m glad that here their chemistry was quite strong. (having both equal characters can have issue showing chemistry)

ep30 was chaotic and escalated down fast and I broke down. it was one of best downfall scenes I’ve watched.

villains in this show aren’t worth mentioning.

acting wise, Jing tian was okay. Xu Kai was good. his crying scenes are good too. their banterings were entertaining.

I started for the cells, and I stayed for the cells.

Continuation for season 1, Yumi's Cells 2 continues to focus on dating, thought process and life of character Yumi.

If you take out these cute lil munchkins, the cells, the plot is prettyyyy bland in my opinion because it's SO real. The story might not be, so interesting or engaging; but the cells are the saving grace., like the plot is a 7-8 but the CELLS ARE A 10!! The story is centered around one character, her life, so yes, life isn't that much of an adventure, so this drama is like a melo-romance drama, often slow paced with no major events at times.

Yumi isn't 100% correct in her shoes. She's tangled up her love life, mixing her past and present, it wasn't intentional but it's neither fair to your current partner. This girl seriously needs a long break from relationships to focus on herself.

What I love about Yumi's Cells is that Yumi never compromises on her beliefs and emotions. The portrayal of her feelings is extremely on point and relatable that it pokes a hole in my heart, and now I have to rethink my dating principles. I love the message and deeper symbolism of certain things. I won't get deep into it because I might spoil it, but it definitely brings a smile to your face, like it did to me. Though I did feel it was draggy towards the end a bit.

I picked this up after two years and binged it in a day. Why did I put it on hold? I'm scratching my head for the answer too. That's not the worst thing though; the worst thing is that I can't get any more of the cell anymore.

Overall, it's 80% focused on romance, and sure, it might get boring at times. But let's be real: relationships aren't all rainbows and butterflies. This show actually portrays that pretty well. And here's a piece of advice: stop obsessing over who Yumi should end up with and start rooting for Yumi as a person. Focus on her character, career, and personal growth. After all, it's called "Yumi's Cell" for a reason.

With this show, it's either you love the animations or hate them, but personally, I loved them!

8.6/10

p.s: cells you will be missed 😔

How to delete this from my brain?

Hierarchy: A nonsensical combination of Gossip Girl and Elite that ultimately tries too hard and absolutely delivers nothing.

There's still hope that there won't be a second season, cause honestly let's invest that money into actual good well written kdramas. Let some of the actual good actors shine in a piece that will do them justice instead of making them return to this. This is truly a case like madame web HOW DID THIS GET FUNDED? WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA? I now have personal beef with the people that gave this the green light. Studio Dragon do better! Also, my two year old nephew can even tell a more cohesive story than the writer(s) of this actual drama. AND IT'S THEIR JOB!

My negative nelly truly came out but this show really pissed me off. And I was actually enjoying it for the first two episodes despite being unrealistic as hell. I can only throw so much of my brain out of the window while watching something as nonsensical and unrealistic as this. By the end of episode 5, I was still watching the show because at that point I was oddly curious at how kuch more ridiculousness they could add. How much worse could it get? The answer was soooooooo much worse.

Plus, they dressed up an 18-year-old high schooler as a 30+ rich house wife that has to deal with a cheating husband and a horrible mother in law..... make it make sense please

WATCH IT! It isn't as bad as what people are saying!!

I saw the many negative reviews but decided to give it a chance and I'm glad I did.

IT WAS NOT BAD! It was a simple drama to watch, nothjng special but it was a good type of simple.

I felt the actors did a very very good job. The storyline is the only thing I would have wished more of. The revenge plot was very poorly written. This guy is literally his twin brother. Get your revenge, who cares about the girl?

Then you have also have some sort of twister good villian story going on. Having you confused. I didn't care that they were in love and treat each other good. The fact is they bully the leff fortune. SIMPLE!!!

Again the story was a good 'one' watch.
