Crying my ass off

This episode is sad af, I can't stop crying. They don't deserve this. Even knowing that she isn't dead, the emotions that keep showing up are making me cry all the time.

Literally this entire episode could have been…

Literally this entire episode could have been avoided if Seung Jun had just let Se Ri talk to Jeong Hyeok on the phone the first time she asked (ok, everything before Chul Gang came to the villa). It's not like he had kidnapped her, so there was no reason not to let her talk to him. I also don't get why they weren't more cautious. Chul Gang has come at them twice that they're aware of, yet they're acting like they have no cares and all the time in the world. This show has felt a bit frustrating. Speaking of which, the epilogue reminded me of the very beginning of the show where Se Ri is in the "crisis management" meeting over her scandal with Jung Kyung Ho's character, and the show depicts her as superficial, self-absorbed, and annoying, and her wanting them to adjust the blurring on her photo as evidence of that. None of her employees seemed to respect her. But actually, that was a brilliant marketing move, no matter how annoying she might be as a boss. It feels like the show wants to *tell* us she's super competent but *show* us how materialistic and frivolous she is. I'm not saying a character can't have all of those traits and still be competent, but this show hasn't done a good job of merging them so far.

7.0/10 - Major plots paying off, but bored.

The wiretapper is definitely starting to realize that he saves/protects his enemies and that he helps destroy those that "treat him like a human." That would be an awful job. He did lie about them being home, but I hope he realizes that he has all the tools to be super powerful. He has ways to get condeming information not to mention all the dirt he already has.

This episode actually bored me a lot. All the plots are lining up, but I felt so bored. Yes, the pacing really dwelled too long on certain parts. Seo Dan also greatly disappointed me. She'd rather Jung Hyuk be dead if she can't have him. She might be cooling down, but she went there.

Hmmmm. I'm wondering if the men who took Se Ri are the lieutenant's men. I think they're Jung Hyuk's dads. Now Se Ri's dad might actually find out she is a live. Oh, and Se Ri has had a revelation about why X-mas was so important to her employees. The people you care about make these things real.

I think this episode was a more of a let down. All the major plots and scare are happening. But I was bored. Great romantic moments and revelations, but it was all over shadowed by the lame pacing. Sometimes that happens.
