People with the special needs.

I love how this episode portrayed what is it like for a person with a special need to go out to see the world like a normal person would. You see, as the depicted in the episode, it is never easy. There will always be a commotion, judgmental eyes, stigma, criticism, and bullying with regards to people having special needs. The stereotype exist that people with mental issues are incapable to become independent, to live normally, and to express themselves as they try to. As a mental health worker, I struggle with this issue everyday. Thats why I’m voicing this out in here.
For everyone watching this episode, please take this lesson very seriously. Next time you meet or see a person with a special need having a commotion in public, think and look back, reflect and see to it you carry your words and actions well.

I can forgive the predictable aspects of this…

I can forgive the predictable aspects of this drama because it clearly makes up for anything that might be construed as stale by still having great art design direction, and a flaming hot OST that puts you in the mood.

No doubt, I will say the best part of this drama is the quality acting and the lit af chemistry of the OTP. Every time they come across each other, my mind says, just get a freaking room already and be done with it. hahaha.

After 2 episodes, the only draw back is this *pretend* idea that all these so-called "childhood connections" just randomly pop up and they're clueless about it/each other after all this time. Yeah, this part I'm truly not buying into right now.

Everything else is clean af.

Read after watching the episode (contains spoilers)

Ko Moon-young = Ko, Moon Gang-tae = Moon, Moon Sang-tae = Sang, Nam Ju-ri = Juri, Lee Sang-in = CEO, Yoo Seung-jae = ArtD, Jo Jae-soo = Friend, Oh Ji-wang = President, Kang Soon-deok = LandladyReally liking the series for showing how people with mental illness seeing the world and feels. It is hard to show that, and they are doing very good job of it. I like how they showed someone with autism might see things like animated way. Like how when he sees what he likes like dinosaur, he keeps talking about it and fixated about it and that is how it usually is. They have shown very clearly how society will react when they see if someone who just keeps talking to oneself about a topic and immediately just scream and resort to violence and brand them ‘psycho’. It shouldn’t be that way but when you see that in the episode, it hits you like oh wow! Yeah this is how we as society usually behave. (Shame on us).Ko and her ASPD and her fixating on him and how manipulative she is Damn! I know that is how her illness is and how is born but yeah it is hard to accept someone completely who is that way. Isn’t it? Also, Gang is just been caretaker all his life and he has so sense of self and he is trying to feel or know what he likes or dislikes, but he can’t as his duty of taking care of his brother stops him. Gang shows this struggle and also the emptiness he feels in this eyes so well !! Ahhhh why are they all acting so well haha I am in Aww with all their acting..

surprisingly impressed

Okay, I usually don't care for sound effects or animation thrown in a drama because most of the time they tend to mess with the flow or just plain cringe-worthy for me. However, the way this drama implements them turned me into a fan for them. I find myself laughing because of how well they are being executed. I want to so badly give some examples but I don't want to spoil the drama or have to put tag on this episode review as a spoiler.Loving the characters relationships to each other so far.. looking forward to more! Special mention, I am LOVING the female lead. She's the walking version of the majority of how we all wish we can can be if there were no consequences.

spoiler! something we don't see every day

This series is really good, episode 2 was good because it really exposed the psychological effects and disorders that people have. I think that Moon Tae-Gi (I think that's his name) was quite rough with what he said to Ko (can't remember her name) but he didn't say it to be rude and to be honest it was the harsh truth. I think that Tae-Gi had a lot on his plate emotionally and physically and the fact that he is able to cope with so much is really good. I really like his character. the only part of this episode was that Tae-Gi left his brother quite a lot, and I know it wasn't for that long but anything could've happened and something actually did, which might to have happened if Tae-Gi was there, I guess thats not the productions fault but the actual character haha. I also think that the female protagonist (author) really needs to get some help because even if she was born with her antisocial thing she can still get help with it, hopefully this will happen in the further episodes.

It's official. I love it.

I loved the first episode but I still didn't get my hopes up. In my mind, this episode will be the deciding factor. But this drama maintained the quality from the first episode and it was even better. The acting, cinematography, and soundtrack are on point plus the unique story telling. The chemistry is something else. The scene at the signing broke my heart. The wait each week will be excruciating. :(

The Lady In Red Shoes

2ND EP: I have watched the second episode, and it’s still standing strong! There is more character development and the flashbacks are beginning to be more in depth. I know I shouldn’t be surprised to have so many mood swings while watching after having seen a ton of other dramas, but here I cannot say enough how beautifully this drama is able to capture emotion. I found myself grinning like a child in one moment and have my heart aching in the next. This is only the second episode! Anyways, I will stop rambling. If you are wondering whether or not to give it a try, please do. You will not regret it!

Piece of brilliance

This is so unique and fascinating. Tender and chilling at the very same time. It is like a book you have to buy and reread in a couple of months to fully appreciate the beauty and the depth of it. Very intense and dramatic.

the VFX used is very realistic

"Its okay not to be okay" or "Psycho but its okay" i have started watching it as soon as it aired, And the starting of the first episode gave me so much thrill and when "Seo ye ji" says "okay mom" at the end of that small animation scene ,that gave me literal goosebumps. And as usual "Kim so hyun(s)" stunning visuals and stately acting makes the whole drama interesting. The most interesting part to be honest about is the whole plot of the drama, the back story of both characters is super peculiar that its makes the viewer more and more curious what is gonna happen next. "Seo ye ji(s)" character is so fabulous , very confident, strong , elegant all at the same time makes her look utterly mesmerizing. Her character has got so much chill that, when she almost killed that reporter it didn't even surprise me. She and "Kim so hyun" are looking so good together can wait for the next episode to watch them again. And lastly the character "Moon Sang Tae" played by "Oh jung se", is so sublimely done, not even for a second i thought that he is just acting the character, it feels so real which makes it more interesting, and the mystery behind the butterfly is what making me more curious because "seo ye ji(s) character when she was young killed the butterflies which can't be a coincident. So lets see what mysterious storyline the writer has for us and how the director and actors dispense it.

strong start

it is a strong 2nd episode following a strong pilot episode. building up of the character and relationships are more solid. i like it that the episode does not really need to be based from the FL's books like in episode 1. i'm excited on episode 3 and i hope the greatness of this show will continue. the transition from 1 scene to another is amazing.

Curiouser and Curiouser

Expanding on the spectacular opening episode, the second episode adds some more context to both the characters and the plot. As was the case before, the show remains to be beautiful, the characters are intriguing and Seo Ye Ji is even more gorgeous. Things are getting very interesting and one can only hope that it only gets better from here on.
