Disappointing ending
Considering how rare season 2’s are in C-Dramas, the open ending disappointed me - otherwise it was an excellent watch. What I liked was that it was not soppy and over focused on make up / beauty at the cost of the plot or storyline. Loved the grainy, dark overtones which matched the storyline perfectly and made me feel the mood and emotion of the characters. Well done overall!!! Worth watching.Was this review helpful to you?
Beautiful story
Strange enough, this is heavily underrated. The story is complex and the CGI is just right. One of the best Xianxia dramas in a long time. The subject was also covered in a very well done Donghua too, if you like animations maybe you can check out that too. Everything is well paced and thought through. The acting felt a bit rigid, but not enough to affect the overall experience.Don't miss this if you love weird magical C-dramas.

This is a masterpiece
Story line is so solid chemistry is also good and later there chemistry will become more solid when she noe his true identity ...Not only the main characters but other characters also give there best so much suspense thriller 🔥 I didn't expect that this Gona be my fav bcs I like this kind of genre action + romance + suspense 🔥
Bai cai character development is so good her villain era is 🔥 I looking forward to it
And how Wu geng journey is going like at first he's arrogant and angry type guy but later how he changes into a sensible leader it truly amazing
I very looking forward to the fight between hei long and Wu geng .🔥
Btw overall is a very great drama you should give it a try ❤

It's A Good Drama. Give it a Chance.
I've currently watched 10 episodes and to me it is a worth drama to watch.The story is well written and the acting is very good. Though others might not like the CGI used in the drama, but to me I loved the CGI because I am starting to get bored with those floating around in dramas.Anyway am not commanding anyone to watch it. I just think you should not just read the reviews and comments give it a chance watch at least 6 episodes and see if it's to your liking and make your own judgement. Otherwise you might just miss out on a good drama😉

The Best Chinese Science Fiction Better than the Ice Fantasy
This is the best every of all Chinese drama. The producer put lots of money into customer, make up of aliens / monsters, as you would see in the US Star Trek / Star Wars. Well done!Story could be stronger. The first 4 (2-6) episodes wasting time in the prison camps that can be cut short.

Highly Recommend
This drama had contained everything anyone can think of. The main leads made it even better. Accept the animation which you just have to keep up with, the drama from ep 1-40 is such a wholesome drama with action and adventures, it has a slow burn romance because that's not the point of this drama. This drama is filled with tons of turns and twists. Watching a drama again with Jialun Ren and Xing fei makes it more tempting to watch like Ms. Crow with Mr. Lizard. I'm not someone who watches historical dramas but this, this is really worthy of watching. Over all it's a ten without a doubt. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Was this review helpful to you?
Love this drama
Honestly, I don't like hairstyle and costumes but since the plot is very interesting so I don't care that shit..I love the way Wu geng & Bai cai treat the other. Their love is so pour. No need kiss scene but I can feel deep love.
Wu geng is getting stronger. Hope he can beat Black dragon.

Worst show of 2024 yet
The acting is absolutely horrible! I dont review much but I had to save others from watching this. The effects are even poorly done. The storyline is lazy and uninventive. I had hopes for this due to the main actors, but i guess good actors cannot fix a bad storyline. Im literally laughing at how fake the blood is.Was this review helpful to you?

Je n'aurais jamais cru qu'une adaptation d'une série animée pouvait m'intéresser autant.L'histoire est enlevante avec de multiples péripéties, des détours inattendus, de nombreux personnages mais qui ne rendent pas l'histoire confuse.
Ren Jialun est magnifique dans son jeu d'acteur ainsi que les costumes qui lui font à merveille (sauf le bandeau sur le front). Les autres acteurs (Xing Fei entre autres) tirent aussi très bien leurs épingles du jeu.
Les costumes sont tellement beaux, les effets visuels qui se sont améliorés au fil des épisodes pour culminer à son plus haut dans l'épisode 40. La fin est très touchante.
Bref, une série qui a peu de longueur et qui est intéressante du début à la fin.
Les chansons de l'intro et de la fin sont vraiment belles. Ren Jialun est toujours à la hauteur avec sa très belle voix.

Ren Jia Lun sanırım kiss sahnesi çekmiyor, koca 40 bölümde romantizmi hissetmekle kaldık. Bu sahneleri arttırsalardı daha keyifli bir dizi olabilirdi. Ama ilginç bir şekilde de dizi kendini izlettiriyor. Ben şahsen oyuna benzettim bu diziyi. Önce rakibi tanıdık, başrol kahramanımız dost kazanırken çetesini oluşturdu, güçlendirdi ve nihayetinde küçükten büyüğe tek tek rakiplerini yenerek bizi finale kadar ekran başında tuttu.
