Abbess Jiu Nan needs to retrieve the eight volumes of sutras, so she heads back to Beijing again. This time, Xiao Bao exposes the Empress Dowager as an imposter and saves the real one. While the emperor devises a new plan to send Xiao Bao to Yunnan to sound out Wu San Gui, Xiao Bao decides to give a few copies of sutras to Cult Master Hong in exchange for his antidote. Chen Jin Nan is suddenly attacked by Zheng Ke Shuang as Zheng vies for more authority.
