Fan Xian goes to the palace to meet with the consorts and the Empress Dowager. He brings along Ruo Ruo so she can help memorize the path to the Empress Dowager’s palace. The royal princess sends spies to get info on Fan Xian and finds him interesting based on his interactions with each consort.
