it's a must watch
this serie is wayy wayy beautiful than u will think it will be it's perfectly perfectwhile watching it u will experience all the kinds of emotion i even felt frightened by the fact that i may never find someone and ill never be able to feel what they felt it's trully truly mind blowing breathtaking it's just ..I can't even explain im literally in love and i won't get bored even if i kept rewatching this my whole life there's literally no way to describe this im just in love with every little detail about it.. bestie believe me u will never regret watching this show ??

Jadaone But Make it Gay
The producers are lucky because the two main leads carried this show to success, they are definitely great actors. I just wish they had better material. The music selection is also great!The story itself was so thin, without any layers or nuanced, but the writer just try to place as many aphorism and didactic quotables to make the whole thing "profound" beyond its woke middle class drivel. That's okay except that narrative-wise, nothing much is happening. And the script tried to hide that by telling and preaching the plot to the audience. They could have done it in the podcast and nothing much changes.

Not your typical BL
So far, this BL series is my top BL series that I like. The storyline is almost close to reality. Very realistic indeed that you can relate to either of its characters. The dilemma of pairing with closeted gay with an openly gay has been shown and is the biggest obstacle in the story. I love the cuteness of Vlad, one that many gays can dream of to be a boyfriend or partner to keep. Like a cat that needs attention but also fragile once broken. Also, the musical scores in this series are so accurate. Mellow and dramatic that blends with the mood. There might be confusion on the ending but I think its an open-ended ending that will open to a new door and chapter to their life. Also the Ate Judit is one hell of a supporting character. A must watch BL that will take you to a roller coaster ride of emotions and drama.Was this review helpful to you?

Decent (but could have been better)
Story: I actually like the storyline. I thought it was cute, deep, and realistic with how it ended. There were some good messages in this story and I liked that neither character forced themselves in either direction for the other person. Honestly, I was in full angst mode during those last few episodes. Yes, I cried a little and my heart definitely hurt for them. I genuinely liked the two main characters and Anna too.Acting/Cast: I hate to say it but the acting in this series was average overall. I would say the actors who were on the better end of the spectrum were Paolo (Karl), Ian (Vlad), and Yesh (Anna). Especially Paolo, he honestly did a fantastic job. Sadly, some of the other acting in this series really brings down the rating for me because it would disengage me from the scene. On a positive note, Paolo and Ian's chemistry was AMAZING and felt so natural. They had some of the best kisses or affectionate interactions I've ever seen in a BL. They're definitely up there with some of the best!
Music: This is the area that the show really succeeded in. I really loved all the music used!
Rewatch Value: Personally, I wouldn't rewatch this. I found it hard to get through the first couple episodes, if I'm being honest (mostly because of the cringe moments and awkward acting) but I soon came to really enjoy it once I was three episodes in. Despite that, I still wouldn't rewatch it. I don't like open endings. I don't mind if I only have to watch it once, but it means I won't rewatch it. Not unless another season is released.
Overall: I recommend you give this a go if you like pinoy BLs, have run out of BLs, or it interests you! It's not that long so if you didn't end up liking it, it wouldn't be wasting a lot of your time.

Note: while staying (2022) in the southern hemisphere, I turn on the TV and Jerome Ponce jumps out at me on the Novela E Plus channel (probably for southern African countries) in the English-dubbed series A Soldier's Heart (gay character, but 110 episodes) and we can look forward to the continuation of the gay love from this series in the newly prepared project PhilJie's Heart with Jerome Ponce and Yves Flores (Stuck On You).
Byl to zatím NEJREALISTIČTĚJŠÍ seriál pinoy produkce, co jsem viděl a troufnu si říci, že zatím pro mě i jeden z nejlepších BL projektů poslední doby. Ani se nedivím, že oba hlavní představitelé Ian Pangilinan a Paolo Pangilinan (Vlad a Karl) získali jakousi tu cenu BL - RAWR Awards Tandem roku 2020.
Oproti přecukrovaným BL pohádkám s nerealistickým dějem a scénáristickými zvraty hned od prvního dílu vstoupíte sice do jednoduchého příběhu, ale za přispění herců, scénáře, režiséra a dalších tvůrců, NAPROSTO SKVĚLÉ, KOUZELNÉ HUDBY, podtrhující celý příběh a pocit z něj, a projedete celým seriálem bez postranních zdržovacích sraček jako máslem a na konci si řeknete, že takto by se to mohlo stát i ve skutečnosti. Až jsem si říkal, kde jsou ty ohňostroje, proudy umělých slz a soplů a přešťastných komparzistů na konci. Dobře je zahraná i postava Vladovy sestry Judit (Adrienne Vergara).

From the start of the episode, I can definitely say that their chemistry is in the air. Their acting is very professional and so far, it has a great impact on the first episode. I can't wait for the next episodes, I am definitely attached to the characters already. For the Cons naman, It kinda lacked realness, like I know BL doesn't strive like that, but for me, it really does. It kinda has an overtone that kinda rubs me the wrong way, like the plot is all great but, it's going fast. With only 8 episodes only, it seems everything will get rushed, the chemistry is most likely rushed too. Well anyways, Good Luck watching towards everyone ^^!Was this review helpful to you?

Yes!The best Pinoy BL series that I have ever watched! Ang ganda, relevant and relatable ang mga issues na natackle ng series, may attake( alam nila kung ano ang gusto nilang ipahiwatig sa pamamagitan ng pag representa ng ibat ibang detalye ng buhay ng isang pround gay, closeted gay, ally, etc), may puso(ang series na ito nagpapahiwatig ng pagmamahal ng dalawang lalake na ang pagmamahalan nila ay kasing dalisay rin ng pagmamahalan ng babae at lalake), may lalim(ang gaya sa pelikula ay minumulat ang mga realidad at sitwasyon ng mga taong naghihirap mapa sa buhay ng kani-kanilang mga pamilya or "sexual orientation". la storia è ok ma ci sono molti momenti di silenzio e morti. uno degli attori non recita bene. molti dialoghi inutili.ci sono scene che si trascinano e un po 'buie. a volte la storia non si collega agli episodi precedenti quindi è difficile da capire. secondo me il programma vuole forzare le persone di un certo messaggio ma non riescono.
regista ha cercato di essere diverso in questo programma ma non è riuscito perché alcuni attori non interpretano bene.
a volte le scene sono brutte che salto l'episodio e aspetto un altro. troppi personaggi che non aiutano la storia.storia non si collega agli episodi precedenti quindi è difficile da capire. secondo me il programma vuole forzare le persone di un certo messaggio ma non riescono.

gaya sa pelikula !
estava com medo de assistir mas a história me deixou completamente apaixonada por eles ! a mistura de emoções foi incrível - é diferente da maioria dos bl ' s já que retrata a descoberta da sexualidade & também a aceitação . . . assuntos que merecem aparecer mais em bl ' s, porque é a realidade de nossa comunidade lgbtqia +um bl que você pode assistir sem medo , não tem cenas sexualizadas e também aquele drama insuportável - é um bl que transmite suas emoções de uma forma tão real que retrata ao público os sentimentos do personagem . . . assistirei mais e mais vezes porque estou completamente apaixonada pelos meus garotinhos !

anche questa serie filippina, come altre che ho visto, non è un semplice drama bl, ma una serie lgbtq+ che affronta in maniera realistica tematiche della comunità, a volte forse in maniera un po' troppo didascalica.Ci sono alcune cose molto belle e ben fatte, come ad esempio il ballo liberatorio di Karl nell'episodio 6, e l'intera serie dà l'idea di essere confezionata con cura e attenzione ai dettagli.
Tuttavia ci sono 2 cose che mi hanno davvero infastidito:
1.) il personaggio della sorella di Vlad: perchè Vlad le permette di gestire la sua vita? perchè l'invadenza spropositata della sorella viene mostrata come se fosse qualcosa di giusto e accettabile?
2.) la pressione che viene messa a Karl per fargli fare coming out. Il coming out è un'esperienza personale e fondamentale per ogni persona lgbtq+, e nessuno dovrebbe essere forzato a farlo quando non si sente ancora pronto.
Karl nella serie ha praticamente appena scoperto di essere gay, da pochi giorni o al massimo da qualche settimana, e non riesce ancora neanche a pronunciare la parola "gay". E' chiaro che una rivelazione di questo tipo è sconvolgente e necessita di un tempo di elaborazione e metabolizzazione. La reazione di Vlad alle paure di Karl è eccessiva e a dire la verità incomprensibile. Vlad reagisce come se Karl lo avesse tradito e in lacrime va ad abbracciare la sorella dicendole che lei aveva sempre avuto ragione!
Cioè: Karl ha appena scoperto di essere gay, è comprensibilmente terrorizzato dal coming out, perchè non ha ancora metabolizzato la cosa, e Vlad anzichè tranquilizzarlo e dargli sostegno lo molla e va a piangere dalla inquietante sorella impicciona?!
In una relazione gay il coming out di entrambi è il giusto presupposto di una relazione sana, e quindi sono d'accordo nel ritenere che il non voler fare coming out da parte di uno dei due è un buon motivo per troncare. Il problema della serie è che ci mostra che Karl ha appena scoperto di essere gay, e questo cambia tutto, perchè Karl si trova in una fase in cui parlare di coming out è del tutto prematuro. Vlad avrebbe dovuto semplicemente tranquillizzare Karl e dargli un po' di tempo, senza rompere la relazione, e standogli vicino lo avrebbe sostenuto per affrontare con i tempi giusti questo importante passo. Il messaggio della serie, che vorrebbe essere positivo, rivolto a tutte le persone lgbtq+ che hanno fatto o non hanno ancora fatto coming out, invece è del tutto negativo, perchè fa vedere come giusto e accettabile un Vlad egoisticamente incapace di dare un po' di tempo a Karl.
La scena finale è volutamente poco chiara (sono ancora in una relazione oppure no?) perchè era prevista una seconda stagione che poi non è stata realizzata.

Filipinas, se te critiquei me perdoe
Aqui eu paguei pau real para a Filipinas. Esqueçam o BL, é uma série LGBT+ que todos os dias se reproduz com milhões de pessoas pelo mundo! A história é linda, sem os excessos comuns nas obras de lá, um elenco coeso e um roteiro muito, muito bom. Assistir essa série é uma experiência única, especialmente para as pessoas da comunidade LGBT+, que conhecem o processo que Karl estava vivendo, e o porquê Vlad não pensava como ele. A princípio existe uma diferença gigante de personalidade. Vlad é o filho desgarrado, aquele que a família precisa monitorar, tem alma livre e não sente necessidade de esconder seus desejos de ninguém. Karl é alguém totalmente diferente, inicialmente, muito submisso aos pais, a ponto de esconder até mesmo o curso que quer fazer para satisfazer a vontade da família e suas necessidades financeiras, até pq, pelo que percebi, ele temia ser estigmatizado como o único que quebrou a tradição de se virar sozinho a partir da maioridade. O surgimento inesperado de Vlad, tão diferente e talvez por isso tão encantador, trouxe à tona a sexualidade de Karl, que eu acredito que ele já sabia qual era, mas escondia até de si próprio. Essas duas personalidades são encarnadas todos os dias por milhares de LGBT+ em todo o mundo, uns se conhecem, se assumem e vão à luta. Outros acreditam que não precisam se assumir para ninguém, pois não precisam de validação (afinal ninguém se revela hétero), e um grande grupo, creio que os que mais sofrem, antes de lutarem contra o mundo, lutam primeiro contra si mesmos e sua própria natureza, e pra esses, talvez a aceitação nunca chegue, tão profundo é o preconceito estrutural que o mundo vivencia.É um BL que traz muitas emoções, alegrias, dramas, lagrimas e por fim um final feliz. Fiquei meio que sem entender o título, mas compreendi que foram os filmes que os aproximaram. A irmã de Vlad, com toda aquela casca grossa, afinal era um amor, e a vizinha então... gostaria de ter sido melhor detalhada sua história como mãe solo. Não precisou de cenas quentes pra fazer nosso coração transbordar de emoção, bastou a química do casal, e os momentos lindos embalados por uma das melhores osts que já ouvi. Não sei se existia um bom investimento nessa série, pois os cenários e o cast é limitado (não que isso atrapalhe em nada). A cena em que Karl dança é perfeita! Me senti muito representada enquanto membro da comunidade, de uma forma muito respeitosa e saudável a série chega a ser didática. As frases finais eram sempre a cereja do bolo... mas a última de fato me fez chorar, trouxe à tona a menina assustada que um dia eu fui, que por fora era uma guerreira, mas por dentro não conseguia entender o que estava acontecendo comigo: "Um amor libertador e direitos iguais para cada um de nós. A verdadeira luta está do lado de fora. Iremos te receber quando estiver pronto. Até o reencontro." É sobre isso, sobre sermos comunidade e entendermos que cada um tem seu tempo, sua história e suas limitações, mas que independente disso, quando chegar agora deve ser acolhido e respeitado, pois talvez já venha cheio de cicatrizes causadas pelas pedradas que levou da sociedade, família, amigos...
Uma das séries que mais indico, e que amo rever. Traz sempre uma sensação de volta para casa.
