what a disappointing 1st meeting - get Mico's…

what a disappointing 1st meeting - get Mico's rushing back. but i didn't get why instead of "i'm sorry" he couldn't add "my moronic mother slipped in the bathroom..." anyone would get worried and call back, asking if everything was ok. but Xavier was also being Xavier - such a douche, even though have a feeling he was so confused and maybe even shocked by his feelings, at the disappointment he felt when Mico rushed off and their meeting couldn't take place. maybe that's what made him go into 'silent mode'. and then when he was OK with what he was feeling, he was just waiting for his "gift" to arrive - being his usual tease-self φ(゜▽゜*)♪ ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************sweet fluffiness aside (which was a majority of this ep), considering the mains and that mini confession at the end - let alone the quirky funny fairy godmother in the guise of Miss Tina. that mother (ironic lol as she the "voice" of the mother, we never see) but back to her mother character - from the start the little we get is negative and borderline abusive - her throwing sh*t at her son, scolding and berating him all the time - as it's only her and her son in that family. i don't get people like her that use their children like "punching bags" to vent whatever is wrong with their lives. and pretty sure she will be the type that once he tried to leave the house will hound him and guilty trip him about him also abandoning her like his father did - wont be shocked if he ends up alone stuck having to take care of her until her last days. seen too much of this in real life to know how this sadly can pan out - very realistic and yet too depressing and not needed in these drama's we got enough of reality in real life - plz ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the mini blow-up with the friends was much needed - yeah Mico isn't as bad as i painted at the start of this but he tends to be a bit self-centered and as he a self imposed head of that group. he until now has been enabled in always taking the focus. but everyone has a breakin point and if u want to keep good friends sometimes u need a blow-up so people will be made aware of their down-fallings so they can fix it - if they want to keep that friendship. so Mico needed that wake-up call

Five Stars

Miss Tina is a mood. I love her character and her ambiguous comments about them being tops and versatiles. She’s just lovely!

Four Stars

The plot is moving slowly, and im kind of not liking it.The virtual fight is very awkwardly done with the dialogue. This episode is a so-so for me. Last week's episode is still the best in this series.3 episodes remaining. And still no major conflict. Wish it would show soon :)

Hello Stranger (2020) Episode 5: Hello, Sadness!

Although the plot/storyline didn't move much in Episode 5: Hello, Sadness!, we did get to know more about the support cast. Kookai and Seph's relationship seemed to be progressing albeit slowly. I love Junjun. I think Migs Almendras is the best actor among the Hello Stranger cast members. I also love Meanne Espinosa's Miss Tina Moran. As for Xavier and Mico, they were only good during the start and end of this episode. In between, I got really bored. Frankly, I enjoyed the scenes with Junjun, Kookai, and Seph more than the scenes with Xavier and Mico. But I did enjoy Mico and Xavier taking off their masks at the start and Xavier saying in the end that the song he sang was for Mico. In terms of the technical aspects of production, I found some scenes grainier, particularly, the camera shots of Miss Tina Moran. They should have given Meanne a better phone with the best camera! Lol. Overall, I didn't enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed last week's episode. With only three episodes left, I hope they get to the main conflict of the story soon so that there's still enough time to properly resolve it.
