Shinya Shokudo Episode 5 Reactions
This episode was very, very moving. I still can't believe how sad I was watching this. Butter rice might be a simple dish (anyone who has rice and butter should be able to make this) but the sentimental attachment is to the memory of the dish, not the dish itself.

Favorite ep thus far. The atmosphere was soothing & calm, and the story of how a food critic could enjoy something as simple as butter-rice really reinforced that effortlessly.
