SPOILER ALERT! [10/10]

I couldn't ask for a better last episode because I'm satisfied with the ending! We're pampered with a happy ending, which is followed by an open ending. This episode confirms that Hyeeun is the killer of Dr Choi. She wasn't the one who killed Dr Choi's wife, but it was Dr Choi who killed his own spouse. I shed a lot of tears from the beginning until the end, especially during Hyeeun's breakdown scene. I love the director for presenting the younger version of Hyeeun when she was surrounded and intimidated by the police. When the younger version of Hyeeun cried her heart out to Myungjoon, I felt bad for her. Hyeeun as a child, by the way, not the adult Hyeeun. I pity the old Hyeeun. We get to see that she's just a child. Not in a pure, innocent way, but the adult Hyeeun is helpless, meek, and fragile. Even when she was crying in front of the security guy after killing Dr Choi, she looked like a child in the corner of the wall. She had the chance to help herself get a better life, for her to have the family she always wanted, but she keeps messing up. How many times do Myungjoon and Heeae have to give her another chance to be happy with the 'perfect family' she wanted? In the end, she hates Rohee not because Rohee lives the life she wanted, but because Rohee is Myungjoon and Heeae's family. Hyeeun has nobody to blame but herself. I know that Myungjoon will be imprisoned and I'm fine with that because he basically admitted that Rohee is his child! Even if Rohee doesn't call her 'dad', Myungjoon gave her the scratching tool that says 'filial daughter Rohee'. I was so happy when I saw that scene! But I cried too with Rohee when she broke down. Myungjoon, Heeae, and Rohee might not be a family by law, but they know that they're family. Heeae considers Rohee as her sister, so that's all that matters! The open ending was unexpected. I have a theory which I posted in the comment box already. But whatever the open ending was supposed to mean, I would love to see another season!
