One of the best BL drama ever!

I've watched many BL drama/movie, and this has just became my most favorite drama! I still can't move on from this masterpiece. It was like watching kdrama with BL couple.

I love the pace, a bit slow at the beginning but it's good. The casts are perfect. Especially Seowon as Taejoon. I'm so glad Taejoon is him. He makes me want to learn pottery. The chemistry of him and Gongchan is good. I only wish they kiss a bit more, but I know if they do more I won't be able to handle it... (I almost went crazy when I saw a bit of their 'more' in ep 10) and also this drama is rated PG so-- yup! a lot of hugs are loved!

The osts are also amazing! All songs are good! Currently obsessed with them!

This drama is No. 2 in K TV-OTT overall list (from No. 14 to No. 2 in 4 weeks).
I'm so proud and amazed with this ranking, it's BL drama with only 30min/ep but it can compete with the other popular kdramas! (Taxi Driver 2, Queenmaker, The Glory 2 Part 2, etc.).

I really recommend you guys to watch this drama, there are also quite a lot of bad reviews out there but with that ranking, I believe at least you should try to check this drama out yourself!

I hope there will be season 2 next year!

A gentle love encounter

I was totally captured by the 4 actors in this drama.
The two main leads were perfect as the main love interest. Each was given enough backstory issues to create the misunderstanding that almost topples their slow burn romance.
Their attraction is subtle and wonderfully depicted in their body language and facial expressions.
The confession is very touching and I could feel the anxiety in his trembling voice. The hugs are beautiful and almost make up for the dead fish kiss.
(BL actors and directors need to be comfortable displaying love. Acting is acting and if a kiss is called for then use your craft to make us believe it).
The second couple help make the ensemble even more interesting, I want to know more and see more about their burgeoning love relationship.
The production has captured the artistic mood with settings and lighting and suitable wardrobe.
In the story-line the ML Tae Joon is, understandably, feeling hurt and betrayed by Won Young's actions. What makes the difference is Won Young also feels wounded by Tae Joon's stance and pursues him to clear up the misunderstandings.

The director, Eui-Soon Jang, was an assistant director on the wonderful Coffee Prince and also directed the sweetly, sad BL Peach of Time.

Happy ending but they again let the 2nd lead couple hang which is really sad ?.

I usually don't watch trailer so assumed it a different story by watching clip of it. But it was totally different haha. I actually don't like these kind of plots but I'm happy I watched it and liked it. But again the same complain with Kdrama. Why don't they give justice to their 2nd lead couple? It was so good but they let it hanging. I read a comment that they are getting their own movie but don't know if it's the continuation of the same story or not. I hope they give the required screen time and proper story ending for the 2nd lead for once.

Best slow processing BL I've ever watched

Finishing this series, I figured that what I like about it the most is that, it really took it's time to progress. unlike other BL's, when the conflict came it would mostly resolve at like 1 EP. but in this series, they took the time to not skip any detail that the audience need to know, they made the audience FEEL the problem, not like the problem was just passing by, they made it stuck unto you. and that is truly admirable when it comes to a BL series. I think this is my No. 1 BL series, love it so much!!!

THIS KBL IS AMAZING !

I love this drama with all of my heart ! All parts of it is amazing. From casts, scenes, emotions — everything.

I feel butterflies in my stomach everytime I see the main casts in one screen; they just give those kind of feeling to me. One eye to eye then I'll die. Their acting was so good I feel everything they want the audience to feel. The time when Taejoon and Wonyoung broke up, I really bawled my eyes out. I was like crying from episode 7 to 10, they whole time they have broken up. I felt almost all kinds of emotions.

I also love the side couple too ! I remember watching Won Taemin (Go Hotae) in You Make Me Dance. His personality in this series is really different from that one. That just proves that he can act well. And I can't miss out his tattoos ! I really love those. I love their chemistry. I'm hoping that they will have their own series.

To conclude this all, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY WATCH ULS OR ELSE YOU'RE MISSING SOMETHING REALLY GOOD ! I hope I can see them in one series again. ❤️

I really don't have any complaints per se about this series. It was a complete story. It had past hurts that had to be worked through and brought in baggage for new relationships. The acting was not bad, but also not anything spectacular in regards to chemistry and the ability to successfully pull off an intimate scene. The music was decent but again nothing too memorable. But I also don't feel like I wasted my time watching this series. It was a nice something to have on on a Sunday afternoon.

i dont really enjoyed but its not bad/ fiz a review em pt-BR

I found this series enjoyable despite its reliance on cliché tropes. While some may view these tropes as overused, I personally didn't mind them; in fact, I found they added to the overall charm of the series. The familiarity of these tropes made the story feel cozy and endearing, rather than detracting from its appeal. Overall it was cute but nothing special

Predictable and Unpredictable At The Same Time

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Employee): Ji
T (Artist): Yoon

Beginning: B is an employee who has recently been discharged because a misunderstanding. Not knowing what to do in the main time, he goes on a trip to a small coastal town and meets T. T is an artist and the favorite artist of the ceo of the company B works at. Immediately B recognizes him and had this brilliant idea of approaching T and convince him to return to the art world and world with their company, hoping this will be enough to convince the ceo to allow him back to work. At first, B only sees T as a ticket back to his old life, but unexpectedly an attraction starts to develop between them and before he knew it he was falling for the other man.

Middle: The more B feels for T the guiltier he felt about the lies he told T. It got even worst after B confesses to T and T accepts and asks him out. B started hesitating whether he should tell T the truth but when T told him how he was hurt in the past by trusting the wrong person, B gives up the idea of telling T the truth, afraid that it will break them up. He decides to give up on using T and let things happen naturally and if he doesn't get hired back, he'll try to find another job. And if the company forcec him to use T he'll resign. But before anything could happen, T finds out about B's reason for being here and freaks out. No matter how many times B tries to tell him he didn't pretend to love him for the company, T doesn't believe him and tells him he doesn't want to see him again. B continues his efforts of convincing T of his feelings but T just wouldn't listen.

End: B returns to his job in the main time but he is still broken up by what is going on with T. His efforts to letting T know he hasn't lied about his feelings wasn't working. He tries to work but it's obvious it wasn't working. T on the other hand isn't doing any better. But luckily he has a friend to talk it over with. The friend tells him that B isn't lying when he said he loved him and T shouldn't let the past dictate his future and make him miss out on what could be the best thing that could happen to him. T has a flashback to a previous time when B was drunk and told him he hadn't expected to fall for him. He realizes that B might be serious and finally forgives him. B and T finally meets and T asks him to get back together which he agrees. In the end, B did quit his job after his manager asked him once more to use T. The series ends with them together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I loved and hated how real it was. B hesitating whether he should give up his career for T and ended up not to give up is just so real. Since he was the one to bring up using T, the company didn't force him to do anything, he had no other people then himself to blame. And he had debts to think of and couldnt give up so easily. He only quit at the end because he knew the company will continue using him to get to T if he stayed so it's better for him to find another job.
- I love the buildup. The acting was great and the actors had great chemistry together. The show felt real.
- The cinematography was beautiful. It felt like a high quality production.
- The pacing was good and the progression of their relationship felt natural. We were actually rooting for the couple and each step they take towards each other feels like a small victory.
- The characters were very relatable and their actions made sense in the context of the show. These are normal people falling in love for the first time and we are only along for the ride. I also love the side characters. They are charming in their own way and help the main characters grow.
- The leads look gorgeous together. They just fit and seeing them kiss is a visual masterpiece.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- I didn't like the lack of communication at the end. Athough the motivation are understandable but B should have been more honest with his feelings and told T before hand about the company. Although it would have been a little better but hope much better is debatable because B did end up choosing the company over T. And T not believing him is understandable because of his past traumas.
- It's a slow burn and outside their relationship nothing else happens. Everything surrounds the couple.
- There aren't any intimate scenes but the hugging and kissing scenes are enough to make you heart flutter. And they look gorgeous together.
- B tries to do everything himself, only messing things up. He should try to rely more on T.

**Conclusion**
A very high quality show that should be watched.

It took me forever to finally watch this drama and the reason is that I can still vividly remember the webtoon I read a couple of years ago. And I can still remember disliking the main couple. And also wanting to see so much more of the second couple.

And lo and behold, this adaptation is very much faithful to the webtoon and therefore, I disliked the main couple and wanted to see more of the second couple (fortunately there are some nice webtoon side stories about them).

WJ has problems at work so he has been suspended. he goes to a tiny seaside town and meets by accident a well known pottery artist who has been hiding for the past two years. The artist is WJ's boss's favourite one so WJ sees this encounter like a possibility to earn some points and get reinstated. WJ, with his cheerful nature breaks slowly the walls around the artist. Until they actually fall in love and WJ's scheming comes to light. Now ensue a string of misunderstandings and lies which are mercifully quickly resolved! The second couple has a more interesting story: I cannot really remember whether they were real cousins or just friends but the drama lightly touches upon (mentions once!) the family homophobia: blink and you miss it!

The story is messy with a lot of inconsistencies and illogicalities. There is this particular feeling about K-BLs, and this one is no exception: they are cold and empty in spite of warm cinematography, the acting is stilted and unnatural, the kind of music featured has been heard already so many times and is extremely boring, the writing is rather superficial. The actors were mostly cute but the main couple had zero chemistry: more often than not even when they were together, they looked like they were on different planets. The webtoon characters had more sparks flying between them than these two real people. And don't start me on those fish & passionless kisses: not even kisses, more like tiny pecks on lips! Fortunately, there is character development, a slight one but a growth nevertheless: one matures and grows a backbone while the other rediscovers joys of life. While I was watching the office worker played by Gongchan, I kept thinking of Suits, the US show: he reminded me so much of young Patrick J. Adams. And once I thought of that, I could not unthink it, unfortunately! The other couple's thuggish guy reminded me of the farmer boy, loud and direct, from Love Tractor.

This is a most unremarkable drama, correctly produced but lacking soul, a spark or something which would bring it to the top.

One of the most wholesome K-BLs ever

it's such a heartwarming story and i'm so sad i waited so long to watch this. i binged all 10 eps in one night and it's just so wholesome. the drama is like a warm cup of milk. it's not fast pace but it also isn't too slow. some plot points unbelievable but it's fine this is a bl drama. im obsessed with how sunshine/sunshine protector the main couple is, soooooo 100% my fave trope. some stiff acting at first but it gradually gets better and i love gongchan's portrayal of wonyoung so much (i will protect you in gothic font). i really like how the drama emphasized some of the key traits in this couple (wonyoung's earnest sincerity, brightness and hardworking, taejun's protectiveness, his journey to overcome his past of being betrayed/used by his ex and his slowly falling for gongchan who's completely from his ideal type). all in all i love the drama so much. if you're feeling down on a rainy day (so many rainy scenes with the main cp I LOVE IT), i would 100% recommend this drama.
