Sometimes toxic, sometimes fluffy

Sailom was a perfect character and his sarcasm made me laugh but then his humor faded away when the person he trusted the most left him.
Don't get me wrong, I liked how it developed between Kang and Sailom but the bullying at the start was too brutal and it changed somehow too quickly. Then when they became couple, it looked great. Their trip was seriously touching and I loved their love scene but when they returned, it went downhill. Even though Saifah confessed he did it, Kanghan had no right to throw the blame at Sailom as well! Sailom did nothing wrong but Kanghan treated him like a murdered and someone who'd do anything for money!
Sailom went through hell... his boyfriend ditched him and he had no money when his brother got locked up. I expected Kanghan would help him in this kind of situation but when he showed up to save Sailom from the r*pist, instead of calming him down, he started shouting at him, poured water at him to wake him up and even sexually assaulted him just because Sailom tried to get money this way... Sailom had serious breakdown in the bathroom and Kanghan was one of the causes but comforted Sailom and looked like his hero again... I'd expect a very big apology or Sailom being angry at him but no, he was taking all of Kanghan's accusations and insults... then when Kanghan learns the truth, it's like nothing happened. Like he didn't do anything bad to Sailom and Sailom ignores it too... I seriously loved it till ep 9 but the end disappointed me.

I really loved it

I don't know why many didn't like the story. I think it's so cute and I really loved the Actors. It reminded me of a Wattpad story so they had me pretty fast with the bully-to-lover part. I see why people say Bromance but I don't get why it's a problem i would love my Boyfriend to be my friend and my lover and they did a great job beeing both. I love it and it is one of my favs. I cried, I laughed so everything I needed. I also really loved Sailom, he was my highlight of the Show. I really felt his pain and everything he was going through. I will definitely watch it again!

Overall good, would reccomend despite some elements being a little off

The plot was not boring, the execution was quite good and the story wasn't static, which is what made me look forward to the next episode everytime.
First of all I want to mention some things I appreciated. Aside from the non-boring plot, I think that the characters were overall well-built, I especially appreciated the contrast between Sailom being a mentally strong individual, opposed to the lost nature of Kanghan.
I would like to mention some of the "negative" things I personally put thought onto. First of all, the CGI because well... the gunshot, but let's leave that aside. There were some instances in which I was left slightly confused, such as Kanghan being hospitalized for a minor graze gunshot wound, and 5 minutes later hugging his father with no physical impediment, but these are minor things.
The "biggest" issue I had was with the fact that I felt a little off about the actual romance. As I do understand that people express care and love in different ways (plus considering we are dealing with teenagers), I still felt like Sailom and Kanghan sometimes didn't completely look like "couple", it's as if I couldn't grasp what the main focus of the series was, as nothing was at the center, we did get a good plot, character developement and a zoom on Sailom and Kanghan's relationship, but I feel like something was missing. Even if there were many instances where I could tell how much Sailom cared about Kanghan, in other contexts (especially when they had to convey the attraction) it just didn't hit right, to be honest I somehow felt like Chimon didn't really do his best on intimate scenes, his kisses were cute but didn't look passionate at all, which in some context would have been more appropriate (this might not be such a big deal for many, but to me it kind of takes something off that realism and relatability I expect to see in such a relationship). Despite this, by thinking more deeply about the nature and development of the characters I guess I can justify some behaviours, although, for example, I still can't comprehend Sailom's reaction to what happened to him starting from his brother's arrest, I know Sailom has a very strong and collected nature, but I feel like it looked a little bit too collected (even if, fortunately, later we got to see him breaking down in the shower, which made it make more sense), he didn't look to lost even when he was alone, I appreciate him being strong and determined to pull through, but I still think they could have conveyed his feeling slightly differently (but this is more like a personal thing, I still think it makes sense the way it is).
To add on, I think that the choice of putting the role-play scene as a post-credit scene was perfect, it left me with a light heart and happiness about the series, while also fulfilling the need of them being closer.

I absolutely need to mention that I got somehow more excited about the side couple, plus I feel like the kiss that Guy and Nawa had was the best one of the series, I personally found it the most beautiful, it made me incredibly happy as it was sweet and passionate (which is the thing that I found lacking in Sailom and Kanghan's), the tension they've been having for 12 episodes finally collided in such a sweet moment, in which I realized that they did perfectly understand eachother.

At the end of the day I am quite satisfied and would defenetly rewatch it. Overall it was very good and I would defenetly reccomend it.

Ignore the hate

If you’re looking for a MAME style dangerous romance then this isn’t that but what it is a wonderful HS love story with superb characterisation. Much like MSP, everyone in this feels teen and has appropriately teen reactions to different events which is what I think you should keep in mind.

Kang & Sailom are complex and well written but they are teens and as such they do have some very teen reactions and approaches to certain events.

If you’re looking for something with good swoony moments and consistent characters then you really can’t beat this.

Pretty Good

Wow, there were a lot of negative comments on this. I was hesitant to watch but I found it to be pretty good.

Perth is such a great “bad boy” actor. Ever since Love By Chance he has seemed different to me... like he really was heartbroken. But he’s a great actor.

Was introduced to Chimon in Blacklist which he did a great job. Totally different from his role here. So versatile and talented.

I loved the whole bully’s life being turned around theme. All it took was someone to care. Also loved how his father finally changed as well.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed in Perth and Chimon’s kiss scenes. I’ve seen reviews blaming it all on Chimon but there wasn’t any chemistry coming from either one of them. Do not like closed mouth kisses! Maybe they are not experienced enough or just too good of friends. But loved their friendship scenes and the clowning around.

The other couples were enjoyable and I loved the drama with his brother. Can’t believe some reviews say this drama was boring. it wasn’t! But to each his own.

I was really lookingforward to this because Chimon is one of the actors I appreciate most from Thailand. I think his acting was just fine in this, I just feel bad for him. I feel like he had to force himself. I always wonder how much of a choice actors have, or moreso, how much pressure actors face to be in BLsespecially being an actor for GMMTV and being in a counrty where their BLs are world reknowned meaning they're being pushed by the literal government.
Has he been limited to BLs because of he has been side characters in them before? I always worry. I just can't imagine trying to act a sexuality that's not your own. Ok, actually I can all to well given that's what I do every day of my life. It fricked me up. And to have to do that for the world at large? It isn't the same because you can go back to your straight life, but the shadow will always be there. I'm sure stranges on the street will stop them and ask, and they'll always be wondering if that's something the person across from them is judging them for.
Summary: I have never seen a couple with less chemistry in my entire life. but not in a bad acting kind of way (there are all too many of those). It was just two straight guys that couldn't reach that far into their psychy nor escape the world we live in that tells us that gayness is weird and wrong. I 100% can't do it.
Anways, the chemistry was so lacking, awkward, and embarrassing that I can't even watch them attempt anything more intimate. Hence stopping at ep 7. Reading theough peopel's comments and seeing that they had to do the most intimate types of scenes makes me shudder to think of it. And it seems like I wasn't the only one,
And still, Chimon's smirk. CHimon's half smile. We love to see it.

it's just the story that doesn't seems quite good tbh, the actors wise was totally fine

Dangerous Romance was an enjoyable series overall, though not without some uneven moments in the scriptwriting. The English title felt a bit misleading - "The Heart of the Wind" may have captured the essence better. While I loved seeing Perth and Chimon's chemistry blossom on screen, the plot sometimes felt rushed.

There were several highlights from the last episode! Guy's quick recovery was questionable, but his arguments with Nava, which gradually turned into romance, were enjoyable. More enemies-to-lovers relationships like this, please! However, Name and Saifah's dangerous connection intrigued me the most I think their story will fit "Dangerous Romance" title. Their dedication was beautifully portrayed during the emotional jail visit. However, the abandoned mafia plot overshadowed their exciting story.

Kanghan's graduation speech was a bold moment, which might not have been possible in certain societies. The emotional scene of Kang and Sailom under the rain portrayed their deep feelings in a subtle manner, and I found it quite moving. I also appreciated the normalized depiction of a lesbian relationship in the story. Lastly, the playful roleplay scene that appeared after the credits showed the lively chemistry between the characters.

Overall, Dangerous Romance was a great series that showcased the impressive talent of its cast. While the pacing and scripts could use a bit more polishing, Perth and Chimon proved to be a captivating duo. I personally hope that GMMTV will consider pairing them up again for a new project that fully showcases their potential!

pls dont end yet

honestly i wasn't super anticipating this show but with every episode it kept rising up my list and ultimately i think its one of my top 3 bls from this year, maybe even overall.

chimon and perth's acting is incredible, i dont really know ab them in any other shows except never let me go, so i became very immersed in them as characters (rather than them as themselves, i feel like a lot of bl fans tend to entangle actors and their roles which is kind of annoying and causes ppl to be less likely to notice when someone is a bad actor lol). also i love guy and nawi's relationship, at first it felt like they mught force it out of nowhere but it actually developed really nicely and i cant wait for ep 12!

kangs character development was actually natural and healthy unlike SOME shows where a character is an asshole and they just stay an asshole with no repercussions ?. sailom as a character is just so perfect you cant hate him, hes cunning and knows whats right, hes kind and understanding, hes a package deal.

the overall colours and directing is really nice too, kinda hard to believe ine of the directors has worked on both a show like sotus ? and a masterpiece like this

anyways, fridays have been my most anticipated day of the week bcs of this show (i originally thought it would be saturdays but whoopsie ?) and i love kangsailom with my whole heart and i wish i could have what they have

Nice

Began this series because it has two of my favs in it, they didn't disappoint in terms of their talent. Perth is amazing and he does his best with what he is given... So let me get the few bad points out of the way. I almost didn't make it past the first episode because that teacher was TOOOOO MUCH TRASH. I am so glad he got what he deserved for not doing his job and only licking bumcy.

The story isn't new but it is always nice to see, my main problem is that Kanghan seemed to lack motivation for his complete change of heart. This may be due to that plot development being a bit rushed, it is there is just didn't seem like enough to warrant a love. It really could be made into pity very easily. Not to mention Sailom annoyed me a lot with his " I don't want my friends to help me, even though they are offering, but I thought I had no one on my side" You's an idiot. Love you still though.

As mentioned before, Perth is an amazing actor in my eyes and he is honestly hot like the tropical weather, so is a win win. His chemistry with Sailom was pretty great and they made a believable enemies to lovers(though lil rushed). They played off each other well and made the interactions seem more organic, which I always appreciate seeing in a couple. The supporting actors also played their parts very well, having amazing chemistry with each other. Marc and Wynn are special mentions for this because they honestly gave me chills when they were on screen. Captivating me with their display of emotions even though they are a side story of disaster and people that truly care about you can see through your bull-ish. And they not even friends, just watch their drunk scene, it was super funny to watch. Like children in the sandbox fighting over the shovel.

The family dynamics on both sides were also well done, though not much back story was given for Sailom, I could still tell all he needed to survive was his brother. Some bonds are just worth it. Kanghan Grandma is a boss, in every sense of the word. She was there trying to make everyone make sense. It was very refreshing to see an adult that made sense every time they had screen time and was always ready to put people where they belong.

ENEMY TO LOVER

I have always love Enemy to Lover trope and this series portrays a beautiful concept of enemy to lover concept. CAN WE ALSO TALK ABOUT HOW PERFECT PERTH IS??? LIKE UM HELLO??? I dont know why but he looks absolutely stunning when he is angry. I HAVE ISSUES OKAY IDK THIS IS JUST ME. BUT anyway, I love that the conflict in this series is based on real life issues like social status, lack of parent's attention and bullying. The 1st episode is already really tense and I LOVE IT. I love that Sailom went for a kiss with Kang instead and I LOVE HOW CUNNING SAILOM'S CHARACTER IS. I know that some of the people could not move on from PerthSaint but they moved on and we have to. Anyway, maybe its just me but Perth and Chimon both a good actor, they have such good chemistry with each other BUT, I couldn't feel it. I mean the spark seems to be missing a little bit. Im sorry but I just couldn't feel it between them. Though, I really love the scenes in this series and there are no unnecessary scenes, I still feel like they can give just a little bit more.

Can we also talk about MarcWin? THEY ARE SO ADORABLE. OH GOD. I mean the fact that they ask each other's out by arguing, "You be my boyfriend!" / "No, you be my boyfriend!", I FEEL LIKE IT IS SO ADORABLE. THEY BEEN FIGHTING ABOUT EVERYTHING BUT deep down, they care for each other and I LOVE THE PAIRING FOR THIS. <3

IT WAS A SAFE ROMANCE

I like the fact that the series started with a very good hook; it gave you a very clear overview of what's going to happen and to whom. The first 3 - 4 episodes were great, very captivating, funny and pronounced, sadly all of which started to deteriorate after that, the story became predictable and incredibly dramatic.
Kanghan made sense in all of his actions and intentions...up to the series' first half (or perhaps just a bit more than that), and then he became nonsensical. Also, i wished the series didn't force so much drama into itself, yet, it did. I was choking with unworldly conflicts and unworthy infighting. In short, they didn't exact a good plot after the first few episodes.
The thing that might be the saving grace for this series was the ost and the acting. About the actors, we had familiar and good faces to counted on, they surely delivered, only that Chimon's acting in couple scenes did not persuade me. The character of his relationship with Kanghan was playful, supportive and unconditionally loving, he showed me some of that but not the loving part, i didn't feel like he love Kanghan, more like a special friend...and that did not give me butterflies. Perth however, actually played all out, we felt love oozing out of him for Sailom, we felt his fear, his anger, his joy and that's powerful. For a BL series, we need all that to make it work, to make it persuasive and empatheticable. All the side couples weren't give enough ground to play their parts, yet they did their jobs and deserve praises for that. I would like to say that Euro played his role beautifully, he was actually so natural and convincing. I love his acting.
To conclude, this series did not pass as a great series, but it's a good series, at least give it a whirl to experience the plot and the love.

I really liked this show

I actually liked Dangerous Romance because of their chemistry. Some people may just say they have no chemistry because of the way they kiss but kissing is not all about chemistry with one another. I’m sorry that PerthChimon don’t suck each other’s tongues out in the series, if you want something like that then watch American shows. Some people started hating on Chimon and saying that his acting is bad but in non-bl series his acting is really good. I actually really liked this series but I think they do need a better storyline and a better crew and I think the show would have done way better than it did if they had that. I hope PerthChimon get more projects with better storyline, choreography, and crew. Hopefully in Gmmtv Part 2 they get a good series.
