KitMark: 10 Stars. Show as Whole: 3 Stars Or Less.

For those who are here for romance, and are brazen enough to overlook everything and anything else: Look at my rating for Acting, Music or Rewatch value. For those who are here for a good series: Look at the Story rating. LOL

I have watched, and re-watched the KitMark line and completely ignored EVERYTHING else. And it's a 10 show for me (I didn't dare to put it in Overall rating, though:) I truly loved it, enjoyed every bit, even the little shots of interesting architecture in between the scenes. Kimmon & Copter reached perfect dynamics onscreen and they delivered perfectly, including details like tone of voice. It's a small story, it kinda goes from nowhere to nowhere and also suffers by the association with Wayu's (though I LOVED Mark&Wayu frienship) which is whiny and unwatchable from start to finish, and that's why you need to be extremely selective and ignore the things left & right (like the "product placement" aka plain advertising that goes beyond borders of good taste). But, I even LOVED the music. There is the title song, which I enjoyed time & time again, I even enjoyed the re-caps because those also had it playing in the background:) I rarely enjoy title songs in little BLs like this. It's a simple song, but it gives a great vibe and feeling. Just tell this ISBANKY (whoever they are) thanx, it's perfect. The romantic song, called 'Rak Mai Mi Niyam' sung by the lead cast, was also great in setting the mood. I even loved the background music score, it was pretty simple and used over and over but it worked great.

Now, this "Star Hunter Entertainment" certainly has an arsenal of cute faces. There's so many in this little drama (perhaps except Wayu's old bf and the Gypsy Eyebrow they decided to pair him with, after). Someone obviously noticed even Junior & Kad interactions, and put the two together in 'Bad Roommate'... Though I still can't wrap my head around the cast being actually in some kind of a band together (that thing called sbfive) despite having seen couple of music videos on youtube... Especially Bas Suradej looked so out of place in those for me... He is just this quiet and dorky BL male lead for me LOL. His is such particular cuteness just perfect for BL. But, his character's line in 'Gen Y' immensely sucked, unfortunatelly. I quickly ceased to pay attention to it entirely, because having his plot revolving around this Someone-Without-A-Face is like the worst dramaturgy ever. So I focused on the KitMark line, where I quickly became happy: episode 2, episode 3 and episode 4 there was a KitMark kiss by the end of the episode:-))

So I pretty much skipped everything and everyone except KitMark, enjoyed up to episode 10. I think blwatcher.com wrote good enough review:-) It summarized even all the things I was completely oblivious of, that's why I can tell you I also ignored everything "Supernatural" that was featured in this series. Else my rating would not be this nice. I seriously did not care which of the guys did Wayu meet first to be his destiny. His whole romance line was whiny and unwatchable since episode 1. All I can say about this "Pharawee" is if the "main" character was denied to us for 12 episodes, then in the end I wanted it to STAY that way. In last epi, I didn't want him to show his face, lol.

From all what I've heard about the unwatachable Season 2, I marked it as "Not Interested". That's the only defense against 0 Stars shows.

Funny to call this show 'Plus & Minus', when the main couple is everything but the usual "opposites attract". They're both the same age, both the same profession, both the same clothing style, both the same... sex. At the beginning, they actually seemed like brothers to me:) But, after I looked more closely, one of them is shorter, sweet faced, super cute... and has a serious personality. While the other looks more peculiar, acts more carefree and flamboyant. Watching them discover the feelings for each other - with one of them only facing those while drunk, while the other, the more quiet and shy one, actually be the first to address them head on - was a treat and I enjoyed it all including the music (I liked the ending song WAY more than the opening song... couldn't resist fan-making my own opening credits:) What I skipped completely was the second couple, as I found both the guys super ugly, and I am shallow like that;) I liked the little law office setting and small "divorce cases of the week" the two main guys were solving, and the fact those did not occupy too much screentime. The screentime, however, proved the biggest weakness here. Because I had the feeling it all fleeted too quickly... While I liked everything the show contained, the episodes were simply so short there was not much to go by.

This was super funny, AND it worked great with the runtime:) There was absolutely ZERO usual bore stuff of typical k-drama:) Or, it got reduced to minimum. The only weak suit was the story, in which the girl saved the life of a rich guy. In return, he forced her to move her small animal clinic in which she was content and independent to a new place in which he checked upon her daily and then practically blackmailed her into being his girlfriend.

After he even forced her to move in with him, I honestly cheered for the girl to date his younger brother - who came to also live in the house - instead. The brother was cute, which cannot be said about Sung Hoon. Also, he was kind of on the same boat with her, they both were harrassed by the older brother, whose only good suit was that he had money, which he used and abused every day. He also had a funny male secretary, who understood the soft core under the hard crusting and tried to help his boss to find true love, which was exactly what good romcom should have. Still, I didn't cheer for the main guy.

So, this was the only thing that prevented me from giving this 10 stars. Kim Jae Kyung did a great job, though.

Okay, this was kinda... boring??

Okay, this was kinda... boring?? "Woo... Oh Oh, Woo... Oh Oh," chants the title song, like there's something happening. But it's not, lol. Also, the obviously younger and mediocre looking of the boys is supposed to be the "hot senior"??

First kiss is 6/10 and it's nothing special (I think they kissed each other right beside the mouth) so it just got me thinking about how the young actors have it hard, it's not only about improving their acting, nowadays they also often need to be cast in BL and that's harder on the straight cast, lol.

Noh Phouluang deserves a praise. Not just for his acting, also for his song (NOT the title song). I wish I could praise the whole show the same... If only it was not so awkward & draggy. I don't know what 'Nitiman' is supposed to mean, but perhaps it's a short for "Nothing much, man." There's literally like nothing much in this series. Even 10 episodes was LONG.

Was it worth the wait?

I had to wait for this one for long, till it was finally completely subbed and not just 2 episodes or just BL cuts. Was it worth the wait? Er... To watch Dan Worrawech, who was born 11 years earlier and reached completely different level of acting skills and screen presence, in contrast with greenhorn Toy Pathompong, makes an erratic watch at best. Not to mention that Dan Worrawech, otherwise awesome, was in his mid-thirties, so he did look bit ridiculous as the returned kid, whom his mom is going to have to teach all over again:)

It's funny that we watch a romance drama where there are no good guys. There is the main boy with looks of Toy Pathompong who has a girl AND a boy fighting over him, while both are nasty to the other and play dirty despite the fact that they probably don't even really love the guy. Even if they do, they are extremely manipulative about it. Toy Pathompong's main boy is supposed to be the good boy, while he is nice and polite and always tries to please the elders he also kinda likes sex, especially sex with men:) He picks a girl with super slutty exterior to make him forget and to use her as a smoke screen, while he says he loves her, it looks like he's just trying to be nice, too. He says he loves the boy, too (mostly after the boy purposedly cries in front of him, or tries to look pitiful in some way or other, to evoke compassion: that's basically his way of seducing him, lol), but we can see he's just into guys in general, he's also quite taken with one other guy, and would totally jump his bones had he not be straight:) It was funny when he tried to please that guy's elder but his docile and feminine behavior made the elder chase him away as "toot":) He then settled for the other boy.

The list goes on. Perhaps Dan Worrawech's "bad boy" is actually the good guy, he's just acting out because he's been hurt. And so even he is unable just to mind his own bussiness. The mother is harsh, she sets rigid boundaries for herself and everyone else. She hangs desperately on her pride, but to read between the lines, obviously she was once actually heartbroken over the "bad boy"'s dad:) In short, the characters are funny to watch. But it's the kind of moralizing mellow drama (with the exception of the " gun action" final which is far-fetched and far from "slice of life") typical for GMM25. This channel always tries to "educate" the viewers with life lessons, but uses social-magazine "real life" kind of stories typical for middle-aged married female audience, lol. So, watching it whole and not just those bl excerpts which might give an impression that this is some steamy show, this was actually like something for my aunty, she would probably rated higher but I suffice with the average 5 stars.

Okay, second season... Or actually fan service 5 special episodes... We start with the main couple moving to a new place. And their cute & funny domestic moments in there. Funny! See, first season, I didn't like it and I didn't get it UNTIL the couple (which formed out of nothing, in my opinion) moved in together and we watched their cute & funny domestic moments:) While it's said in the voiceover that the sweetness was replaced by what domestic life brings, it's actually the opposite. It's more sweet watching this than watching some kind of constructed "fake-dating" and all the other constructed events that kept happening at random and for no credible reason, which formed the whole first season. Now I believe the two guys are "2gether" because they simply are, and I never needed to wach 10+ episodes about various idiotic ways of how they got there. Watching the domestic life of the second couple is even funnier, as there is one of the guys who's been always a bit strict with the other:) And even Frank & Drake got slightly better haircuts:) Music club got renamed from 'Musical Club' to correctly 'Music Club' so everything seems alright now:) My only worry would be that even for 5 episodes, we'd revert back to some stupid side character related "drama", but according to the synopsis, that shouldn't happen, either. Obviously producers knew well the viewers were not interested in anything besides their favorite couples, so this should be packed with all the stuff that went downhill or went missing in s01.

It is very likeable how all the '2gether' shortcomings were recognized and addressed. To admit your weak suits and just do your best and be cute about it is admirable so I'm sure whatever reservations, this time the audience forgiven it.

There are still Scrubb songs playing and that IS a good band. This series was always lucky to have it. Though it looks slightly ridiculous how the main couple's bedroom is so obviously decorated with the band's posters:)

I still don't get the "boobs touching" humour:)

This was 5 episodes only, still it felt LONG to me as I never really cared much for this BL. Seriously, it was like it had 10 endings, lol... Recommended for the '2gether' hardcore-fans only.

Didn't reach at least 7 stars rating

Epis 1-3: boring. Epis 4-5: ok. Epi 6: enjoyable. Epi 7: While I would love Perth with less artificial haircut (he looked better before, damn it! in 1st season of 'Love by Chance', he was only 17, but he didn't yet grown too long and dyed hair, so he was hotter!) but I liked the story. Not everyone is open about their feelings from the get go, and being surrounded by friends who are openly interested in the same girl might prove tricky:) Love is a powerful thing, it can create and break things, but not to underestimate that friendship is a kind of love, too...

How to rate this project? If epis 1-3 are 4 stars, epis 4-5 are 5 stars, epi 6 is 6 stars and epi 7 is 8 stars, we have 36 stars in total. Divided by 7, we have 5 stars only... I want to be nice, so I give 6.

Looking at the poster, it might seem on first glance that Typhoon Kanokchat is a real player in this one, but when you look closer, you find that he is actually surrounded by just one and the same woman. She's got some personality disorder just for the purpose of this small drama (I wouldn't look for medical accuracy here:) and it looks like she's got a broken phone containing some evidence on some thugs, so it's very important for her to get it repaired, and so she contacts an extremely talented repair man:) And just as likeable a guy. He promises her, that when she'll come to collect the repaired phone, he will give it only to her, and not anyone else, "even if she'd look like her". Then she indeed comes to his shop wearing flashy clothes and a wig, introducing herself with other name, asking for the phone. The guy is very good in not giving in, keeping the promise that he'll return the phone only to Jess, the original version he first met. When he hears her calling herself otherwise he doesn't return the phone, despite seeing she IS the same girl...

I must say I liked Typhoon in this, previously I watched him only in a villain, sleazy guys roles but he is very cute and likeable here. Saiparn Apinya is also engaging to watch, clearly she is attractive enough in her "civil" version for the main guy, so when she gets so forceful in seducing him aggresively as a "sexy girl", it is not needed and actually looks bit embarassing. When she comes dressed as an innocent schoolgirl, it is not better (in 2019, Saiparn Apinya was 29). It's made so obvious she is just acting as somebody else because no matter what she wears, we can always see clearly her peculiar tatoos she's got on both arms and various many other places, that confirm her identity instantly. Someone mentioned the plot being stupid, having the 2 thugs appearing again and again pestering the girl, then conveniently disappearing... I think that is not so important, they might actually just represent her personal demons she kept fighting. After all, this isn't the first 'Bangkok Rak Story' I watched, and if there was anything notable about them all, then it was - despite the title - the lack of story. It WAS always about the atmosphere, morelike. This is same.

I mostly enjoyed this though there were elements I wanted to skip (like the korean wannabe girlfriend), and I was practically sorry for the main guy being pestered by all the girls so much and getting dragged into their problems, he was such a good guy lol.

The way I see it, it might as well ended in episode 5, she should give the phone to those thugs and thus get rid of them, on the other hand she should keep the main guy:) If she still remained in a dangerous situation though, the only good thing she could do for him was to not involve him. Also, with her many alter ego personalities, SHE was a handful enough. I admired the main guy being willing to put up with it. But, in the words of her only friend: she is similar like an object that is broken. And... He IS a repair man:)))))

In 1/2 of the series, it was clear already the guy was really interested in the girl, because he stayed. Did he deserve a better girlfriend than mentally ill one, I think yes, but there we had the comparison with the korean girl wearing flowers in her hair every day and threatening to jump the roof if he won't date her, and SHE was supposed to be healthy, lol. So, if he did choose the main girl, then I should cheer for them. And the writer prepared their love story well, given the material. I think this was the first time I watched multiple personality disorder used by the writer for a romantic effect:) After 10 episodes, we can also see clearly that main girl fell in love with the guy already. Just when she was at that point in her life she given up on love life, she decided to give him a chance and it was very sweet. 3 episodes remained to tell how it worked out...

I liked that she showed trust to him and he showed understanding. Soon enough, it was revealed each of her alter personalities had reasons. Their couple was cute and I shipped them:) The episodes where they were just with the mom in the country, far away from all the other side-characters (especially the thugs, the korean girl etc.) were blessed. But, soon we were back. And, it's like a step back. Instead of the relationship conclusion, we watch a demented action final. Then there's the quick happy end. Overall, if someone did not write this like they were on drugs, my rating could be much higher:)

We have two "attractive" boys... One of them is the type I dislike (reminds me of Golf/Mike), the other one is bit better (but I probably should no longer call him "boy"... so, let's say: guy:) Their story is delivered with taste, feeling and poetic atmosphere. Occasional cute & funny moments. I liked the direction of this (David Bigander). I would not use the silly english title "Bite Me" for this one, it sounds like for a show of a different genre. One of the boys is very quiet, sometimes it's peaceful, sometimes it's stressful, and since episode 8 it takes a weird turn. Several last episodes I didn't really care for it. Didn't really matter to me who wins the cooking contest or who starts dating. Good mood song: "Be Mine" by Sudkhate Jungcharoen.

It's so goofy watching guys who are so rich that if they want to keep something hidden from their boyfriends, they have secret clubs, secret motorbikes, or secret houses, lol. I just didn't get Zee's character in here. He's dating someone his parents wished him to. He's a very busy businessman. He often neglegts his date. His date, a younger "nong", comes to their dates dressed in a suit, on his best behavior. All smiling and polite. But he is actually disappointed when the dates don't go very far. He loves his "hia", as he calls him, many years. But during one "date", his "hia" plain tells him that he doesn't love him. The nong then, in disappointment, decides to break their engagement. This far, I could understand. And only this far:)

We as the audience know, that nong is trying very hard to please his older fiancee. In his presence, he always immediatelly changes his behavior, even his way of talking. There are many scenes where he is seen quickly changing his clothes, taking his earring off and stuff when he spots him coming. All his friends are helping him hide all the stuff. It's like his stern parent is coming, lol. Yet, we know that hia already knows. All his gifts for nong are things nong "secretly" likes. He also already knows nong is crazy about him, yet he treats him morelike some kind of a guardian than a boyfriend, which gets repeatedly broken by a sudden hot making out scene, which then immediatelly reverts back to how things were. Why? I don't know. There's even a second couple that strangely mirrors the same dynamics.

There are many scenes which are fun. And some moments are SO goofy:) The mentioned kiss scenes are great. On the other hand, 12 episodes is not much, so to spend most of them going in circles and just repeating this hot-and-cold and cold-and-hot-again combo, would be a waste... So, the mains jump right into confession & bed scene in epi 8/12 (I'm sure not complaining about that bed scene;) and then start living "like a married couple" already (it's not really legal in Thailand) and I wondered what would next 4 episodes be about. The second couple is revealed to be the more angsty one... But when you expect them to finally have the crucial confrontation, the older one gifts the younger one A DOG.

Nevertheless, if you ignore this little stumble, the second couple then repeats in epi 10, what the first couple did in epi 8. And it's even more entertaining:) With scenes like this, who can really stay cross with this series?:)

Then, only 2 episodes remain, but perhaps it's better that way, making yet more of them would probably cost too much:) Just the amount of hairproduct, jewelry and makeup all the MALES wear here LOL. They are just like cut out of a glossy kind of magazine, just in every scene. One scene at episode 7 nong gets to meet hia's friends, and they're all gay and they all wear bleached hairdos and open shirts with a necklace and several earrings and overall look like models. Including Zee of course, but with him, his age starts slightly showing and more importantly, with him it's different. Without Zee, without the enormous luck that someone like him was the main cast, without the audience having the blessing of looking into his Zee's eyes to find it's not all shallow and materialistic... There are so many gift-giving scenes that they practically replace a couple's story here, then there is a post-ending "story" in which the YOUNGER one is promoting face moisturizer, LOL... Okay, now I need some straight drama with less pink lipped men to balance this out.

Overall when I rated this, I wanted to go considerably high, for all the enjoyable kiss scenes & bed scenes (my favorite were Yi & Diao's), but also I had to consider the whole nonsencical buying/cohabitating/grooming idiocy & Zee's previous show 'Why R U'. Because this is definitely NOT better.

I watched the previous version with Weir and THAT was a bore enough.
Seriously, who's supposed to care about the "story" that's repeated over and over for who knows how many remakes? Viewers keep pointing out how the behavior does not connect to current times. Then other viewers reply that these dramas actually are remakes of remakes from original series that can embed dated back to the 70'. So, will they do this again in 2033? LMAO.
Obviously thai are too lazy to write new dramas, if such high percentage of "new" shows are remakes, or other-country drama adaptations. It's still easier to do a few updates in the old thingy from the seventies, than to write from scratch, right? Geez. So, everyone now has a cell phone and uses social media, else they act like 50 years ago. Great.
We can watch 30 years old Porshe Saran Sirilak...
Nao Tisanart is pretty but I doubt she'll do real kiss with him. We can also listen to new version of the same song...
All in all, you'll excuse me if I won't spend 18x 1 hour and a half.

Bangkok Rak Stories... So far, not ONE of them was good. But, I wanted to feast my eyes on Max Nattapol in main role, for once without Tul Pakorn... NOT easy to find something. And I really did feast here, he comes shirtless onstage his first scene, lol. And that smile! Aww:)) Gosh, I always loved him since his debut, never given Tul/Tomo a second glance, lol.

To tell you the truth, even though I watched it all, I wasn't really interested in any other people in this, I really only watched for Max. I wouldn't mind watching his steamy/romantic line with man OR woman: as long as it was satisfactory.

Though, they DID cast Tul Pakorn here too... but, only as cameo at the end, I'm sure it was meant like a little joke to the audience:) Max's pairing with Ten Tosatid, THAT had spark. I must praise the casting. Their scenes were awesome, but too far apart (there are episodes where they only almost meet or one sees the other from far apart and leaves) and it was like there was still something missing. Episode runtime was not a long one, and besides the other character's lines they were both dealing with other people inbetween. There was too much of that "Jennista" and "childhood backstory" cr*p.

Overall, this show was just everything that outwardly looks cool in the opening credits, but... I was not interested in the "innocence" theme. Hopping from one "glittering scene" to the other, this might just as well have 3 episodes or 33 episodes and the result would be similar...

"The Lost Art of the Sitcom" is nice, though I did wish they quit it FINALLY with the laughter track in 2022 (whether it's live studio or canned), I know it's comedy, but it's same like if when in a drama you would hear someone loudly sobbing in a sad scene. This IS dated and should be gone by now, no matter whether american or thai tv. Having funny sound effects on the background score is enough. But apart from it, I can only say positive things about this title.

People praise this and I can see why. The cast is GREAT. (Also, super mega cute:) For the first time, I don't even mind watching scenes with Ampere. The characters are funny, just the right amount. Their dynamics is spot on. Rarely I find a BL rom-com/drama where you see the relationship development which entertains you, usually it's something forced and/or whiny. Not here!:)

"Rak is the boss in the office while Diao is the boss at home."
This simple idea works. AND it's enjoyable to watch. It's comedy but the episode runtime is not a sit-com one, it's more like drama one (but that's speaking US runtimes, in terms of thai tv it's still short:) I love the opening credits (unshortened, best in episode 2, or at least 3-7).

The number of episodes is not very high (I could watch this WAY longer just 15 times) and the show is actually not that special. But the main two ARE! They are SO cute:))) Seriously, they work so well together. This is what you call chemistry (the word that I see in almost every review about every show lol). That being said, I must say honestly that for the majority of those 15 episodes, there sure were moments I KNEW BL audience must have enjoyed, lol. But it's not that we'd see a direct indication that the two guys were not straight. I just knew that I enjoyed watching them, whether it was bromance, or romance in bloom there:) Though it was always clear to me that Rak likes Diao. Only at epi 12/15 I could definitely confirm that he likes him likes him:))

They then have their happy ending in last 5 minutes, and while I honestly thought Rak a (little) bit old for Diao, and their kiss awful (the hug was cute:), overall I liked this "sitcom" more than most "dramas".

Well... This one is different?:)

I have watched SIX cupid series already. And... it was honestly nothing much. But this one? This one has real cupid. And you know who is that cupid? Nhing Nirut Sirijanya!! Aww... I had to smile from ear to ear EVERY scene he was in:) He's just precious every second he is onscreen. With such a beginning, I was well inclined towards this little lakorn even BEFORE the love story unfolded.

My enjoyment kinda dropped by episode 3, the hidden identity plot was a drag as always and Alek is not really my type. Also it's funny to see Prang Kannarun to be the one of all the girls cast as the "nun" (with her trade mark super-sexy body) interested only in practicing dharma, lol. How could the guy take that seriously? Lol. But seriously, Nhing Nirut is so cute:) I give 5 star rating but WITHOUT him, believe me it would be lower! Also, I followed Ken & Chompoo side-line here once again, the next (and last) cupid story should finally be theirs.

So, I waited this one out... I did not get how do you ask someone to marry you before you tell them your real name... Call me mean but I honestly cheered for the girl to NOT come back to the guy:) Then there's the obligatory crime themed final. Like I always say, where there's good romance, we do not need to see police involved:) There's not 1 single kiss but of course, there is a murder:) So, in the end, this still was NOT different. The hope goes slimmer and slimmer for 'Kamathep Prab Marn' to finally be the the good one...

What is this, is 'Randall and Hopkirk' thai version?:D

Anyways, Chakrit & Tik that is SOME combo, PLUS Rodmay. I was looking forwad like mad, LOL.

Now, obviously I love Tik, I love Krit, and even the car the detective drives looks tiny bit less than cars common on thai tv, and tiny bit more 'Vauxhall Victor 2000', lol. I hardly believe they would have a car which looks like this, if not reminiscing that old series:) It stands out from other cars so much. Though it does have BMW logo:) Mardthong Sarawut is here too, him I remember from 'Seu Rak Chak Yai Olawon'... He was way hotter back there but still good.

Watching this, I concentrated on the bromance, everything else was a surplus (like that annoying "reporter", who was supposed to be Tik's love interest). I was just loving this. Chakrit is SO adorable as the haunting ghost, lol. The two "detective buddies" share perfect dynamics.

It's all about investigating one gang involved with cars, but I actually appreciated the simplicity. I love when one series does NOT try to be hundred things. Those tend to be the best.

Even the female reporter, who basically acts like a burden to the hot shot guys during the whole series, in the end does serve her purpose. Despite being kinda lame she's at least not bribable and helps by bringing the case to the independent media, who are the only ones that can be trusted with the information at the stage where there is no certainty how far in the police force and court justice the mafia has penetrated. The pitty was that side character they were trying to protect the whole time died, and didn't even come back as another funny ghost:)

But overall you don't have to worry about this getting too dark, it does have some twists but eventually the bad guys get punished, and there is a good ending for everyone in a very thai and buddhist way:)
