The reason I watched this film was mainly because I'm an Arashi fan, and because I like to watch their dramas and films whenever possible. I was expecting to watch a mediocre film with some comedic scenes and that's exactly what I got. Watching this, there really wasn't a moment where I thought this film was brilliantly written and one of the best I've seen. All this film was about was basically a group of 5 quirky guys who go through minor trials that test their friendship and in the end have them grow stronger. I did like the bong they shared in the film, because it reminded me of how close they are in real life and gives you a glimpse of reality.. Except without the odd character traits.

The acting was good. All of them portrayed their characters well and I did enjoy watching them. However, I do have to admit that Aiba Masaki's acting performance was probably the lowest of the latter, and I think he's actually known for that, but it wasn't anything bad enough to stop watching. Although.. I haven't seen him in much of anything, so I could be wrong, but in this film he didn't really stick out to me as an outstanding actor. Ohno Satoshi did the best, in my opinion, out of them all. I couldn't help but laugh throughout the film because his character was just dorky enough to love.

The music was alright. Nothing too great to mention, but they were songs that were very fitting for the film and worked with the theme of it.

Overall, this film was a great one-time watch. It had it's funny moments that had me laughing, and I thought the ending was really well done and appropriate because of the events in the film, so I was satisfied with it. I don't think I'll be re-watching this anytime soon... Maybe if I'm bored I'll revist this film, but in the meantime I'd rather watch other things. I recommend this film if you're an Arashi fan, and if you're looking for something that provides comedy and the theme of friendship.

Well.. It's finally over. I don't really know where to begin with this review, since the ending left me utterly speechless.. The plot and ending (I'm not sure if this is a spoiler so read at your own caution) reminded me a lot of My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, which is ironic cause Lee Seung Gi is in both, but seeing how both of them played out in such similar manners was quite funny to me. This drama had pretty much everything. Romance, even a little love triangle, comedy, kick-ass action, and that ONE character you just cringe at the sight of them. I liked how viewers got to see a lot of character development, and I must admit the writers did exceptionally well these past 24 episodes to keep enough people on the edge of their seat the entire time.. So kudos to you guys.

The acting was great as well. I knew Lee Seung Gi could pull of his character well, so I went in with high expectations, and left feeling very pleased with his performance. As for Suzy, I actually liked her in this. Seeing she's a beginner actress she actually portrayed her character well then of what I've seen her in previously. She was a little stiff in the beginning, and I could never really take her crying scenes seriously, but other than that she did really well. I hope to see more dramas/films from her, and hopefully she'll even gain more skills and give off better performances in the future. And, once again, I must give credit to the most badass actor of them all.. Lee Sung Jae. I know, some of you may be like "um what?" but by god could he act. I don't know what it is about the antagonist actors that I always feel outshine everyone (with the exception of Lee Seung Gi cause he's my baby), but he did an EXCEPTIONAL job in portraying his character. I mean if you can portray someone who was as selfless, greedy and just down right evil as his character was while doing well enough to make it believable, I feel you have some serious talent. But I think now I'd like to see him portray a happy character, just so I can compare the 2 and laugh. But besides them everyone did well too... And Choi Jin Hyuk as Wol Ryung.... UGH THAT VOICE. I PRACTICALLY MELTED AT THE SOUND OF HIM.

The OST was perfect! Really great and fitting songs for the drama that I honestly just fell in love with.

Overall, I really enjoyed watching this. It was sweet, at times hilarious, even had moments of ultimate bad-assery, and I really wouldn't mind watching it again... Although I probably won't since I think seeing it once was enough. Although, *spoiler* I really don't think I liked the ending all that much. Don't get me wrong, it was really sweet, but they should have just let it finish without the open ending. Cause now I'm worried that if they make a 2nd season it may not compare to how great the 1st season was. And if they happen to not make a 2nd season, I damn well better get an explanation as to what this ending was all about. I mean someone could have said something instead of standing there just looking at each other. So many questions left to be unanswered, guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well.. I recommend watching this if you're looking for something sweet to watch with a lot of action placed in as well. (And sorry this was long, I just had a lot to say for this drama ^^)

When I first began this drama I thought I would really like it. It had a cast I was well familiar with, and I noticed it was receiving decent ratings from viewers, but despite that I can honestly say that this drama was terrible. Acting wasn't the problem... This drama was just poorly written. Once I hit the 8th episode I just started skimming through episodes. I became so bored with this drama that I couldn't even stand to watch it anymore, and would just pray that I finished it quickly. I hated the character development... Or lack there of. Watching each of these characters throughout all 16 episodes was probably the most frustrating thing about the drama.

The acting wasn't bad. The actors did a decent enough job portraying their characters, but overall.. I just couldn't come to like any of the characters. Starting with the parents. I really just can't grasp why the writers made them out to be so controlling and insensitive to their own children. I mean forcing a marriage that either side really didn't want in the first place is ridiculous, and then Moo Kyul's mom was pretty much irrelevant in this drama. All she did was cause her son pain, mooch off of him and Mae Ri, and cause problems the whole time and it got old real fast. Seo Joon was annoying as well. The type of characters I hate most are when the 2nd female leads become so jealous and angry because they can't get the man they wanted that they start meddling with the main couple's relationship. And I get it's supposed to make the main couple stronger in the end, but to me it was just a nuisance to watch. And then the 3 main actors: I felt Kim Jae Wook was a little stiff in this drama.. I don't know if it was just his character's own trait, but to me he was always very mono-toned and did a poor job in portraying his emotions. Mae Ri was too weak of a character to like. Letting herself become bossed around by the 2 fathers when she's pretty much old enough to make her own decisions. I thought Moo Kyul was okay in the beginning, but as he started realizing his feelings he became to over dramatic. Never letting Mae Ri explain herself when he would see something between her and Jung In and letting himself completely misunderstand. He was a little pouty to like as well. But I don't think it's the actors fault for that, all the blame definitely goes towards the 2 writers.

The OST wasn't that bad.. Some of the songs were actually enjoyable, but I couldn't help but wonder who picked out the background music for this drama. I mean the one with the random meows or the angelic sounding ones? Whose bright idea was it to pick that?

Overall.. I'm disappointed with this drama. I think it could have been a lot better if it was maybe written differently, but I'll always be left with what could have been. The ending wasn't exactly to my liking, but it wasn't bad either. Poor Jung In got the short end of the stick though.. I've gotta say, I didn't really like him in the beginning of the drama, but I definitely softened up to him towards the end. Overall.. I personally didn't like this drama. Some people may have, but I didn't. Therefore I will probably never watch this again. It was cute and some scenes were laughable, but it just wasn't to my liking. Watch it if you want, but I don't recommend it.

I probably liked this film about 10x more than I thought I would. Earlier this year I watched the drama 7th Level Civil Servant, which is the remake of this film, and thought it was pretty mediocre, so I was probably half excited to see the original and half skeptical that it wasn't going to turn out as well as I had hoped. And thankfully I was very pleased with this film... Enough that I even put it on my top 5 favorite movies.

I absolutely LOVE Kang Ji Hwan.. I love how he's that type of actor who isn't afraid to show his silly and outrageous side in his portrayal of his roles, and this film definitely showed that. And even though I'm not a big fan of Kim Ha Neul, I really liked her in this film. She brought a lot of comedy herself into this film, and I liked how her character was a very strong and independent heroine. Seriously, her action scenes were pretty kick-ass. The rest of the cast didn't paticularly stick out to me, since the film's main focus was the 2 leads.

Didn't hear much music, so I can't really give my judgement on that. Overall, I LOVED this film. It was funny and action packed with cheesy romance and didn't have its dull moments. I would definitely rewatch this film again.. I was more fond of the comedy then the romance, so it was definitely enough to come back to. If you haven't seen this film yet, I highly recommend you watch it. Especially if you're a fan of comedies and Kang Ji Hwan.. I think you just might enjoy this film!

I think this film may end up as one of my favorites. I loved Kamenashi Kazuya playing the role of Yuuki.. I think it fit him best, and I really got to see how much of a diverse actor he is. The plot for this film is indeed a sad and tragic one, but if you look beyond that you'll see there's so many other positive elements that made this so great to watch. As the film went on you really got to explore the true meaning of friendship and how everyone struggles to make the best out of a tough situation. And even though this film doesn't have a happy ending, it teaches you a lot more than you think. I definitely think everyone should give this a shot.. Even if you may not like the actors, or don't like watching sad films, this is definitely worth your time and I almost guarantee you'll love it!!

Finally. 4 months after this drama finished airing I have been able to finish this. The ending wasn't really worth the wait, but I gotta say, this drama was very heartwarming and did make me smile from time to time. The story plot was pretty average, I think what made me curious was how someone who came from prison could live a clean lifestyle while hiding the truth of their past, and the writers did a pretty good job of executing that. There is a lot the 2 leads have to overcome, which is expected from their background, but always seem to make the best out of their situation by seeing that glimmer of hope.

I loved the acting in this drama. The 2 main leads were well chosen and could portray any type of emotion, while still staying true to their character. The supporting actors were good as well. Each had their own inner conflict, and I loved the actor's portrayal of their own character's development.

No comment on the music.. Didn't hear much of anything, and if there was it didn't stick out to me. Overall, I like how this drama played out. A drama that starts out gloomy and ends with a smile. Wouldn't necessarily rewatch it, but it does have really touching moments that I did like. Really good acting here, an interesting drama about real life situations. I recommend this to those just looking for a good watch. You may like it, you may not, I think it just depends on your outlook of this drama is. Nonetheless I enjoyed it and did not regret watching this, and hopefully you won't either!

Um.. Well I can tell you one thing, I did not like this film. I think this film could have turned out a lot better had I known what was even going on half the time. The plot as this film progressed got really messy and was hard to keep up with, and I didn't really see a change in any of the characters. Only added tension between them as secrets surfaced. And also something I'd like to point out plot-wise, the ending was very vague. I was hoping that if she made a decision, she would've made it more clear then what it turned out to be. I don't really understand how the writers thought going this route was a good idea, because if you ask me the whole thing needed to be rewritten. I think the idea of her falling in love with another man while married was something that could have been built up to something great, but the decisions made didn't add up to me and I ultimately feel bad that the actors had to take part in something so poorly written.

Thankfully, the cast chosen was well enough to get by on. Shin Min Ah is actually a great actress, so she can at least deliver. Joo Ji Hoon.. I mean I can't really give my honest opinion of his performance since I've seen him in very little (just Goong), but from what I saw in this film he performed well, and was very good looking while doing so. Kim Tae Woo didn't really stick out to me, so I didn't form much of an opinion of him.

As for the music... Didn't form much of an opinion on that either considering I didn't hear much music. Overall.. I'm very disappointed with this film. And I hate that I only stuck around for the romance scenes, they were probably the most intriguing part of the entire film.. Which is pathetic if you think about it. I'd only rewatch the romance parts, other than that, this is just another film added to the list. I won't waste my time watching anything like this again. I guess you can watch it if you're bored like I did, but don't expect anything great.

I decided to watch this mainly because Park Shin Hye was in it, and because I was curious as to how this film would play out.. Although I should have known better, because what can you expect from a murder mystery plot? While this wasn't my most favorite film, I think it was enjoyable to watch.. Although some parts were a bit uninteresting, but in the end it was a cute film and was in the least worth a one-time watch.

The acting was pretty decent. I didn't have much expectations when I saw the casting, but I wasn't necessarily disappointed either. Park Shin Hye is one of my favorite Korean actresses, so I was very excited to see her performance in this, and I'm happy to say that she did well. I've seen many other dramas/films of hers, so I know that she is actually a really good actress who can portray their characters well.. As for the male lead, Bong Tae Gyu, he was alright too. Prior to this, I really had no idea who he was. I've never seen a drama or film of his so I didn't really know how he would perform, but in the end he did well. He even had great on-screen chemistry with PSH, so as a pair they did really well and did a good job balancing each other out.

I honestly don't remember hearing music in this.. The scoring was lovely, but I don't particularly remember hearing OST's, so I assume there's not much to mention on that.

Overall, I am happy I gave this a shot. I won't really rewatch it, but if you're bored and you're looking for a mystery film with a little romance this may be for you. It was funny, had a bit of tragedy, but I still somewhat enjoyed it. It wasn't sad enough to make you cry, but you will feel somewhat heartbroken when you watch this, so, if needed, prepare a box of tissues.

This is the first TW-Drama I've watched, and judging from the reviews I had read about this drama I was excited to watch this.. And while I admit this was a good drama to start with when you're first getting into TW-Dramas, I had a very hard time finishing this. Not because it wasn't good, but because it didn't really interest me as much as I had hoped it would.

The synopsis, I felt, was very misleading. Since it was about more than just killers drinking milkshakes and the president's connections with a local triad. I think what I was most interested in was how their friendship would evolve since they were indeed "as different as night and day." Romance was very minimal, but honestly it wasn't something that was bothersome to me. Focusing on the evolving relationships between all the characters was probably the most important element in the drama. The action was good as well, nothing too intense, but enough to excite you over how it would all play out. The acting was good as well. Vic Zhou and Mark Chao portrayed their roles very well without going over-the-top.

And I actually liked the music played in this drama. Oddly enough I found myself singing along to the opening and closing themes... Very fitting for the drama.

Overall I enjoyed this drama, but I will most likely not be rewatching this again. But I must admit, it's a great drama about friendship and action-packed crime, with an ending that leaves you thinking.
